Fckn awesome to hear about your sobriety. Music like this seriously helps with my sobriety and mental health. Please don't let anything ever rob you of the magic that you got.
I'm not an artist in any medium. You though, you've got a great voice. Obviously you have the ability to write great music. That's what artists are, magic. They can give air and a moment to test to those whose lungs are empty. Light to those stumbling in the dark, and warmth to those that've become cold. Don't let anyone or anything rob you of that rare ability you so clearly have.
At age 12 I was diagnosed with cancer, at age 19 I had a major brain surgery, at age 27 I lost my lungs and had to have them transplanted, at age 29 The lungs got rejected and had to go through a second double lung transplant. During this I picked up the bottle. Went to rehab, drank the first day out. Been going through the cycles of losing myself in poison. I am 31 now and am just beginning my sobriety journey. God bless you, brother. Never stop.
I've been drinking since age 12. Now 28 with stage 2 liver disease through ultrasound and bloodwork. The doctor said if I stop I can heal in 2 1/2 years, I try and go to help, the ER whatever nothing works. I'm just a blue collar plant worker who likes my beatboxes and beer. We will have it one day. @thesky7265 Hey Sky, thanks for replying and sharing your story. Have you considered Rehab and/or Counseling? Some things that help me stay sober are being in nature, physical activities like sports, making art, playing guitar,...anything that keeps me brain active. Especially if it's something I'm inspired by. ✨️ stay strong 🙏

@PaulyLove-qm7qz yes I work and all, on my days off I get drunk as ever. My doctor just gave me today medicine that makes you sick if u drink and withdrawing medication. Hoping for the best!
Lost my dad in 2010, little brother in 2014, mother in 2021. I'm 38 year old male I've come to peace with everything miss them all like crazy. Love all you I feel all your pain and I'm sorry for everyone's loss... I am about to be a grandpa in October and life goes on 😊

4 years sober. today i dropped my daughter off at her 1st day of school. Im crying writing this message knowing how lucky i am to have reclaimed my life from addiction. Ive lost so many of my brothers to addiction who never got the chance to have children or live a full life. God rest their beautiful souls. Im currently sitting by patiently waiting from the bleechers watching my oldest brother and life long hero struggle with additon which most days i feel is worse then being an addict is watching someone u love continue to go through the vicious cycle of addiction i will continue to be here for him and pray he is victorious in this battle for his life. Stay strong yall and remeber as long as ur still pulling air god is giving u another chance

@@hazediditI lost my older brother in 2021 and it’s a hurt that can’t be explained. You think you will grow old with your siblings. Our birthday is 3 days apart we were very close. I got one phone call in the middle of the night and I knew he was gone before I answered. I still fear that call as my other brother is strung out bad
When I was strung out on heroin 10 years ago my best friend who lived in Texas paid for me a grey hound ticket to where he lived and let me stay in a bedroom of my own, bought me clothes, got me a job, and helped me get sober. All out of the kindness of his heart. He's the best person I've ever known. This song reminds me of him. I wouldn't be clean or maybe even alive if not for him

@@johndoh4132 and April 22 of 2014 was the last time I used. I have a wife and 5 kids now and they are my reason for everything. I own my home, two vehicles and have a great career. Lots of people said I would never change back in those days. But all it took was having a true friend

Just drove 12 hours home from my brother-n-laws funeral. His passing has left a huge hole in our family. Fortunately he has a son-n-law that’s a good man, I have no doubt he will be the one to pickup the pieces and keep the family moving. Orlando Quintana was my uncles name. He was a great man and led a life of sacrifice and hard work to help those around him. He passed away from liver cancer 3 months ago. Good song made me think about him

Man this song popped up on my recommendations and i listened to it out of curiosity and broke down in the first 50 seconds. I lost my brother. He was 24 and after coming back from overseas he decided he couldn't do it. He called me that night and was talking about it and i told him to sleep it off and we will talk about this in the morning. I found him at our favorite fishing spot that next afternoon.

My brother flew from TX to WV and took care of my family after my demons almost got me. I'd love to know the cords so i could play this for him as a thank you. If anyone figures it out please let me know. Thank you Greyson for this song and i look forward to following your music. We all lost alot of people in different ways. I lost my best friend to an OD and this one hit me so hard. He kept requesting money from me and I knew what it was for, and I kept telling him “no, but let me help you” and he OD’d while I was out of town. It still kills me and that’s been 3 years ago.
