Congrats on the Wilson’s Warbler, we have them in Alberta but not at this time of year! I didn’t use eBird at first (didn’t know about it), but I do use it all the time now. I have 377 world species and 252 for Alberta. Happy Birding! I shoot a D5600 with same Sigma 150-600mm lens as you but I shoot in AUTOFOCUS as I’m scared to shoot in manual. 😂
Nice! 252 for Alberta is awesome. And honestly manual isn't that bad. I let the ISO go on automatic and then just change shutter speed based on whether the bird is moving or not- go narrow on the aperture if its bright outside.
Wonderful birding adventure man!
I also love that the Wilson's Warbler appeared just as you mentioned wanting to see the species, that's a magical feeling right there xD
I couldn't believe it. In a world of scripted videos where everything is usually planned, I 100% promise that was real and genuine!
Nice video, thank you for sharing your adventure.
Thanks! Glad you liked it.
Great job Alex!
Much appreciated!

Great relaxing pov videos. If you can capture these shots with an old dslr then you’ll be great with a mirrorless.
Thanks! I hope so. Can't wait to go mirrorless!
I use E-bird every once and awhile
That was me until this year. I've slowed down in the last week or so with all the snow but come spring I'll be using it a lot!
