Great video, show’s just what a storm can do in a forest, and what you need to do to stay safe . You should get Boomer a rain suit to wear a fannal lined one .
Crazy intense storm is all I can say. Glad you and Boomer didn't get hurt. I live in Pennsylvania in the US. We've had weak tropical storms in the past and the main issue was the rainfall. I've also seen sections of forest obliterated from straight line winds and an occasional tornado. I do like to watch storms, usually from inside a vehicle or occasionally under a pavilion. Thanks for sharing your experience and great filmmaking as always.
wow what a storm!!! Nice to see you are safe . Hi Kendra ,this is your cousin Teresa , congratulations guys !!! I will definitely be watching your vids ,,, i love bushcraft and any outdoor shows . Liked and subscribed

I was in hurricane Hortense in Halifax Nova Scotia in 1996....and I didn't dare leave my building lest the door blow off. I marvel at those who go out in hurricanes.
That was absolutely insane! Glad you and Boomer are safe! Live from Cape Breton Island where hurricane Fiona is making landfall. Our reporter on ground is reporting hurricane force winds and 25’ waves with trees falling all around and all he could say was wow, I’m living my best life! 😂 Absolutely the best episode ever! Not sure you will be able to top that! I’m going to have to say coming from someone who grew up in Oklahoma were we were always chasing Tornados and I must say you did good my friend! Wow, you are a brave one, your little dog is a trooper. First time watching your video, I'm in for the ride as I love adventure!!!!. There is no doubt in my mind you had a guardian angel watching over you for sure. I'll bet you felt as if your were weathering the storm out on the high sea waves. Impressive!!!.
I can't believe you were out there in a hurricane, that was crazy as well as dangerous. Oh well I guess that's why I watched it. Next time leave boomer at home when you want to do a hurricane camping video.😊😊😊😊 boomer looks so cute peeking out the hammock. I'm happy you weren't injured by any falling trees. The hammock looks so comfy. What was the wind speed? This video was awesome. Never seen a high wind camping video like this one. Glad you got gone. Please don't take chances like this again.

I just watched a more recent video and reminded me (and referred us) to this one. That was a mighty fine endorsement of that hammock, my friend. Lol it looked like fun.
Super crazy...wow!!!! Glad you and Boomer are safe! It would be really cool to have you go back to the same spot in a few days when the weather is clear and take video all the destruction, my special request for your next trip!
Never experienced a hurricane, but have camped through several tornadoes, one in an open sided lean-to structure and one in a teepee, both long before smartphones and real-time weather information was available. You are very fortunate none of the trees hit you in the night, glad you and Boomer made it out to tell the tale. Great video.
Boomer is absolutely adorable in his frog/dog sweater!! When you said there were a lot of mosquitoes out, I couldn't help thinking of my family's little Pug dog way back in 1960 (I was 12😁). We were stationed at Homestead AFB in Florida and the mosquitoes could just about carry you away. Our little dog got heart worms and it was heart breaking. I am SO glad dogs can be protected against that these days! WOW! Camping in a hurricane!! I am so glad you and Boomer made it out safely! I have been through a few hurricanes in my life in Florida beginning with Hurricane Donna in 1960. They aren't fun even in a safe place!!
Wow! Phenomenal videography of literally being in the middle of a hurricane without any infrastructure protection. What a wild, vulnerable ride! We down here on the eastern coastal areas of the US can relate. Your bravery, calmness, and clear thinking in the "face of a storm" are commendable. I would have been freaking out! Thanks for sharing. :)
Wow. I stayed for Ida last year. Every hour or so I'd go out on my well-protected porch to catch a few seconds of storm video. I can't imagine camping during a hurricane. I like watching your posts, but you really took a risk on this one. No judgement, just grateful you made it out. Looking forward to more videos.
I grew up in Nova Scotia and remember a lot of storms but this one was quite the monster ! Glad you and little Boomer are ok and not squashed like pancakes 😊
That shot of Boomer after you came back from checking out the ocean was epic . He looked like " Somebody HELP me , my dad is crazy " ! Haaa . Glad your both ok !
Wow! What an adventure! I've taken some risks before and ended with a great adventure. Obviously things could have gone wrong but they didn't, and you both came through it just fine. I appreciate you putting the video out there knowing that some are going to have issues with it.

Fantastic scenery. Brave of you and puppy to be out in the hurricane. I am in Louisanna and have experienced being in a hurricane.
This should be up for some kind of UA-cam viewers award.
So much going on and a man after my own heart for storm camping.
Great video! Well done!
I'm glad you enjoyed it
Great video, show’s just what a storm can do in a forest, and what you need to do to stay safe .
Awsome, thanks so much
You weren't kidding when you said this was going to be an epic video🤘🏻glad you and boomer were safe and nothing bad happened to your wife on the home front. Love these videos you do.
Thank you
Im a storm chaser, nothing ever gets that bad here in Connecticut ! Am jealous that you got to go through that!
I was in hurricane Hortense in Halifax Nova Scotia in 1996....and I didn't dare leave my building lest the door blow off. I marvel at those who go out in hurricanes.
i was literally holding my breath watching this video !! im from the uk and we hardly ever get hurricanes ! glad you and boomer are ok
Stay safe and looking forward to more videos to come!
That was crazy. Awesome video!! You absolutely had to be the only guy heading out to camp lol
Thank God you and your dog is ok 🙏
HOLY STORM! thank goodness you are both safe :)
Lol looked like a nice peaceful quiet night.lol, glad your safe and sound.cheers an thanks for sharing.
It was a wild one
I can't believe you were out there in a hurricane, that was crazy as well as dangerous. Oh well I guess that's why I watched it. Next time leave boomer at home when you want to do a hurricane camping video.😊😊😊😊 boomer looks so cute peeking out the hammock. I'm happy you weren't injured by any falling trees. The hammock looks so comfy.
What was the wind speed? This video was awesome. Never seen a high wind camping video like this one. Glad you got gone. Please don't take chances like this again.
That is the first dog I've seen that doesn't want to eat with his master . crazy I was shocked . maydey it was to wet and cold maybe he ate already who knows . but so far this video is great . I myself could use more commentary . but that's me .
I just watched a more recent video and reminded me (and referred us) to this one. That was a mighty fine endorsement of that hammock, my friend. Lol it looked like fun.
You are lucky to document such an experience that you survived, and I hope everyone is well in nova scotia
Thank you
Super crazy...wow!!!! Glad you and Boomer are safe! It would be really cool to have you go back to the same spot in a few days when the weather is clear and take video all the destruction, my special request for your next trip!
I agree... I would love to see it now on a clear sunny day.
Holy shit that was a nightmare. Glad you guys got out safe and sound.
I subscribed when I saw you drying your dog. A man's connection to his dog is always a beautiful thing. Man's best friend.
Ida was an actual hurricane, I bet it was terrifying.
La mer déchaîne c est magnifique merci beaucoup c est vraiment génial merci 😊😊
🥺🥹😱😳😳... glad a widow maker did not end your life out there amongst the trees. Glad ya made it through that.
That's crazy man, my place got rocked by the storm couldn't imagine camping in it
It was a crazy night 🤙🤙🤙
I just watched the intro and gotta take the baby out today I honestly can’t wait to watch this tonight. Looks EPIC!!!! 👍🙏
🤙🤙
I grew up in Nova Scotia and remember a lot of storms but this one was quite the monster ! Glad you and little Boomer are ok and not squashed like pancakes 😊
That's got to be one of the best video's I've ever seen! Who needs the movies! Glad you both got out ok.👍
Glad you enjoyed it
That's some exciting camping ! I've watched this 3 times now !
Thank you
Boomer is absolutely the best behave outdoor dog I have ever seen
Boomer is a good boi
That shot of Boomer after you came back from checking out the ocean was epic . He looked like " Somebody HELP me , my dad is crazy " ! Haaa . Glad your both ok !
Hell , the very beginning , when he put up the tarp , Boomer looked right in the camera , and shook his head , thinking look what I have to go thru !
Ahahahaha. Me looking at the dog like: why on earth I was assigned to this human? I don’t remember signing up for this!! 😆😆😆
Only thing missing is a couple of beers and a little bit of whiskey and a lot of pain?
I love your dog! And I love how you’re taking care of him! I’m only eight minutes in and I just had to comment!
Thank you
Now here's a video worth watching.. 😊 this is a real challenge 😮😮😮 stay safe
Thanks alot
Dude God loves you!
& I do too!
Keep up the good work 😅
Thank you! Will do!
Glad your safe. What an epic adventure you had
Thank you
You and Boomer are building a much stronger bond through the storm. Thanks for the hard work.
Absolutely 🤙💪
Yeah, this will really cement their relationship...
This is quite an adventure. I am glad you and Boomer made it safely!
Having just went through Hurricane Ian, in SW Florida, it was bad enough indoors. Being outside in a hammock is out of the question!
It was awsome
Thank GOD u both are safe....
Wow! What an adventure! I've taken some risks before and ended with a great adventure. Obviously things could have gone wrong but they didn't, and you both came through it just fine. I appreciate you putting the video out there knowing that some are going to have issues with it.
😱It's too dangerous, the typhoon is so strong
Now that's what I call camping!
Ohhhhh myyyy gooodness! My heart is in my throat just worrying for you and Boomer! God bless you both! 😳😱🫣🫢
