I'm going to use this quote! "In a world of cruelty and separation, kindness is a radical act."
Thankyou.
OH YES! I'm "stealing" that as well!
Any spirit in my home will despair because all bumps are blamed on the cats.
My cats have done far more to interfere with my sleep than the household haunts could manage.
💯 😹
Similarly a poltergeist in my home would despair because the chaos is ascribed to the children and cats😂
Unless it goes bump, you're about to call the cats out and both are snoozing on the couch. 😅
Please don't feel guilty. When I saw your video I felt it really helped me shift from depression to action, at least in the things I can do. I subscribed right away because I felt there's no way I'd let someone lose while being so genuine to us in the US who never wanted these results. I'm 27, black, trans and gay in the south and of course, scared. Thank you so much for your words and community ❤️
You are living through a LOT, my friend. Sending love. So very, very glad you are here ❤️
Everything's a fire festival if you're me....hahaha including your hair! Mind you funny you said that because I set fire to the end of my hair this week too!
Oh my! Hope you didn't torch too much of it...
Loved your last video and it’s why I followed you! Happy to have found a community on here of like minded people ❤❤
I love that the aesthetic tip today was: Don't accidentally dress like Freddy and don't light your hair on fire lol
Your stories are great thanks for sharing!
I think Vogue should be taking notes. 😂
The threat is real!!! My poor hair!
White vans, In the USA we call them "creeper vans."
My own first experience with that weird vibe/energy from a place: in the deep south with my sister exploring an old farm. The farm itself had an energy, nothing that made me stop, but definitely there. I was in the back of the property and came upon a "cabin". The vibe got really strong. Depressing. Sadness. I went inside. One room, the remnants of a fireplace and what was probably a bed. My sister left quickly. I stayed. Just sat in that feeling for a little while.
I don't know for 100%, but it's certainly possible that was a slave shack I was in. The "farm" had been part of a plantation.
It also could have been a cabin for a returning Civil War soldier with terrible PTSD. Sometimes living away from people when they first get home can be very helpful.
I forgot to add, this is such an interesting experience. Thanks for sharing.
Pedo vans. Yup.
I used to go to a goth club in Bath that had open candles on the tables. Burnt keratin smells bad, but it's got nothing on burned plastic cyber bunches.
I burnt the ends of the crin to keep them from coming unraveled (tucking looked kinda messy). Can confirm, an unpleasant aroma.
A lovely shy but chatty guy that frequented the goth club i was a regular at, he had the most wonderful perfect teased Robert Smith hair every week and one night all that hair spray went up in flames.
Poor dear, will never forget that night.
He was ok but his hair wasn't.
Your sweater looks lovely and warm. So aesthetics get 10/10 today!
I turned 60 today. You really are delightful. Crones rule. I live in Philadelphia.
Happy birthday, Lacy. :)
@DevonExplorer thank you so much.
@@lacygorman9154 😊
Happy Birthday!
@ellacowin9974 thank you.
Nobody. It's lonely. I had a quite friendly and sociable one at one of the houses I lived in. I miss him. LOL The landlord "knew" why the apartment was never rented for long, I stayed 6 years. He kept asking "Everything alright?" (Oh, yes. My new room mate is delightful.) Dishes went flying, we had a stern...but loving, discussion. It's worth working out relationships. We shared an interest in art (I was an art student; and painted/sculpted, etc. at home constantly) He loved music; recognized, or seemed to, some classical music. He also seemed to love, as I did....my cute young gay neighbors. I got the feeling from him occasionally that he was having more fun than he did in life. (My place was in line between the most popular clubs of the area) We got visitors every weekend. He never....did anything to attract attention of other people, UNTIL....on two occasions, there was a man in my home who did not have good motives. According to local knowledge, he appeared and rushed into them with anger, and they fled....and kept running.....No loss to me. FASHION? Oh, please. It has to be clean, comfy, and warm enough. Screw the rest. Okay, I can throw on a bit of makeup and a few nicer things and "clean up" for the occasion, but every day is not "an occasion" Never a "bad touch"; he limited his abilities to stroking my waist length hair, or laying a hand on my shoulder. He had "big brother energy" WHY are all the ones I hear about....negative? He was only able to "appear" after trying many times....and what I say looked like Mr. Rogers. Patch elbowed cardigan. loafers. Oh, okay. Gotcha. We parted ways when a gentleman I was dating spent the day alone in my home. He sternly addressed me when I returned from work. "You didn't tell me there was someone else living here." Uh.... "I KNOW you knew. We had a talk. He has gone on." *buffering* I'll be darned......he was gone. Never heard from him again. Oh, that guy left, too, it was a six month obsession. I suppose it's all for the better, but I miss that place........
I enjoyed reading this comment! Thank you!!!
A good meme that made me chuckle was@ “ the relief you feel when the strange noises in the house are just restless spirits and not 💩 you can’t afford to fix!”
I never would have thought that some weird or scary feeling I have gotten in place could actually be from emotional imprinting instead of a ghost or spirit. And I've never heard anyone talk about this, but it makes a lot of sense
This is how I consider things like ghosts. I think there is a lot more to human brains, emotions, etc, than we know.
I have to admit that 'spirit' would be my go-to thought as well, so i totally agree with this. Gave me real pause for thought.
@@rowanoraclereadings: Because my next thought is that how we live is then going to influence the house in the future.
@resourcedragon, yes, and that realization is giving me an attitude adjustment.😸
This is the convo I didn’t know I needed. Thanks friends.
No spirits in my house. Before my aunt passed, she'd told me she'd haunt me if I cremated her. I should have taken her up on it, I miss her company. I'm one of the new subscribers and happy to have found you. Happy Imbolc.
If i hear loud bangs in the night in my house, it's one of the cats. Any ephemeral entity is going to have one hell of a time being heard over that lot.
I’m loving the number of us with late night rioting cats!!!
Imagine my difficulty with three live cats and three ghost cats. Surprised I get any sleep at all!
Oooooo! I love that idea of the ash from the hearth being like a letter of recommendation from your last house. That is so cool.
It's always worked pretty well for me :-)
I am grateful for your videos. Please, it is your channel, do what thou wilt. 🤣
Yes! Everything's a Fire Festival! 🔥
My daughter really got excited by your talk of house spirits, and is now collecting all of the gnomes my husband has placed about the house and talking to them and making nice habitats for them.
Thank you so much for your video last week, things are scary right now here in the States. Folk complain because no one is protesting, but what would be the point? I've been protesting my heart out for years and things are only getting worse and right now the folks in power very clearly don't care what I think.
Anyway, thank you for standing with us and thank you for reminding us about the simple joys in this trying time.
My home is a 200+ year old New England farmhouse. All the lives that have come and gone from this house would scare some people but I have always felt a happy “energy” here (not knowing what else to call it).We have met several of the previous residents and they all spoke of their love for this old house and the good memories made here. So I don’t know if what I feel is a happy house spirit or the residual energy of happy times? Once, my husband woke up because he said he could hear people talking and dishes clinking, what sounded to him like a dinner party!
Annie thank you again! I always wondered about that feeling I had that some houses are alive as opposed to haunted. I haven’t the words to describe it. Going to go and check out your other video! Love support local, billionaires have enough!
I don't know I'm taking the Freddy Krueger fit.
I never had a live journal but when I was first online in junior high back in the early 00s, some of my favorite fan blogs were live journals. And OMG do I miss those days.
I will say, our house settles a lot and every time I hear those bangs and cracking noises of the house settling I stop and ask the house, "are you okay?" And I encourage it to hold steady and not fall over lol 😂
I have a cat and a steam radiator (they rattle a lot sometimes), so i never really thought about bumps in the night because there's always something to explain it. But there are times I'll see him walking around and he'll be examining something, and its always hard to tell if maybe he's seeing something, or if he just thought the wood in my kitchen was extra fantastic that day.
Annie thank you again! I always wondered about that feeling I had that some houses are alive as opposed to haunted. I haven’t the words to describe it. Going to go and check out your Fairy video!
Hair on fire is entirely appropriate right now with the state of the world!! Bert used to light the BBQ with petrol in the good old days and sacrificed many a bushy eyebrow!
Thank you for giving a voice to the house spirits, and to asserting that not everything is a human ghost. There are house ghosts, nature spirits that sometimes go inside buildings, and entities "built" from negative emotions. That last category is why so often people who buy a haunted place to monetize it for ghost tours start having more and more negative things happen over time. People's fear attracts - and seemingly creates - entities on its own. (Created entities were first documented, I think, in The Philip Experiment.) I've met all of the above, and they generally feel very different, but like you said, it's not a feeling that's easily described.
The point about monetized haunted houses is very well made. I'm a sucker for a good ghost hunt, and they do feel quite different in some places, you are right. (I'd completely forgotten the Philip Experiment, but yes, now you mention it....)
I never used to believe in ghosts until I worked at an ancient guildhall. I used to scoff at the ‘ghost hunting’ nights they’d sometimes hold, complete with dressed up performers etc, it all seemed very silly. Fun, but silly.
But they weren’t there until sometimes late at night. I was. The place never felt right to me. Sound travelled oddly throughout the building. Late at night if I was the last one there, I used to lock up and run through the building, turning off lights as I went. Saying ‘goodnight’ to whatever was there, but I really didn’t believe in ghosts.
Until one day I was downstairs in the dungeon where we had a little kitchenette. Messaged my co-worker who was upstairs on another pc if they’d like a cuppa and that’s when I saw her. She was standing behind me, looking over my shoulder, a lady in a bonnet. I’m very familiar with the history of building so I knew instantly who she was, and as soon as she was there she was gone. Biggest jump scare of my life.
From that moment on, whenever I made a cup of tea, I made one for her too.
This seemed to please her because she never jumped out at me ever again. It made my coworkers laugh, but I didn’t care, at least the lady in the dungeon wasn’t jump-scaring me anymore!
I don’t work there any more but I hope whoever does is respectful and occasionally makes her a cuppa.
How did she like her tea?
@@resourcedragonI used to make her an earl grey, with a tiny bit of milk and sugar. I’d leave it in the cell where she’s said to have been buried. It must have pleased her because she never jumped scared me again. I would always say ‘good morning’ and ‘good night’ to her whenever I opened for the day or closed down at night. I think more than anything, like Annie said here, it’s about acknowledgement and respect, I think that’s the key.
Wow... blast from the past, LiveJournal... I miss the nerdy community I had there. None of the replacements ever quite worked out the same. Also, white van dude is totally a thing in the U.S. We call them either "creeper vans" or "free candy vans."
Kathy is also a friend of mine. Her kindness campaign has been winderful.
I have very messy spirits in my house they just make mess. Love your videos
I have been bingeing this channel for days now. Love it.
Ooow Fire bug Aries here ... An idea for you my lovely ... If grumpy old crone has a bit of chain left and a scrap bit of metal pipe . He could cut two 3 " pop pieces and then pop a bit of wood inside the two pieces of pipe. Screw a arm length of chain on to the wood part securing your chain and then wrap Wick around the pipe part. Badabing!!!! You've got a set of Fire poi. Fire swing the shiznick out of them is awesome and fun. It's how I cast out my demands lol But don't do what a did last time I made my own set, by using cotton and hand sawing as a strap handle lol my fire dance was going well and the we were loving it lol but suddenly one of the fire poi flew off, a fire ball man !!😬😱 off it flew in the middle a festival crowd A fire ball and chain . Love is like a ball and chain they say lol 👍Just blessed that the large stage screen had drifted away from me at that moment lol 😆😬👍💗🐏👩🏫✨
That is a prize winning example of “I Do These Things So You Don’t Have To!”.
I've always called them house fairies. The fairies in the house we lived in in Suffolk didn't like my ex. They'd steal his keys, etc. We moved to Colorado, and when we first looked at the house I live in now, the moment I walked in, I got a "Welcome!!!" . No stolen keys, just happy you're here energy. My daughter came to visit, and she brought me the house key from the old house. A big old skeleton style key. That night I dreamed that the current fairies and the ones that traveled with the key were having one heck of a party, all of them getting along. Next morning, guess who's keys were missing? :) Lost the house in the divorce, got it back when he passed, and oh the joyful welcome I got when I moved back in. :)
Ooooh! You sped up the positive bit's intro! Cute!
A couple of people mentioned it, and I agreed with them, when I thought about it!
I hope you had a happy Imbolc.
Edit: For the sake of video boosting engagement I’ll toss a question out to those reading this. Did any of you make special food for Imbolc? If so what was it? I made rosemary parmesan butter noodles. It certainly isn’t what folks usually list, but it did use three different types of dairy.
For the sake of extra engagement, I took a warm spicy milk drink to our Imbolc grove ritual for the libation and to share. Carton on milk of choice (in this case it was soya, works well with dairy or oat milk too), ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and honey warmed up and strained into a flask.
I made penne a la vodka, tossed the penne, drank the vodka. It's all about the spirits.
My life went to shambles the end of last week so I haven't observed it yet. I'm hoping that today chills out enough that I can come home and do something.
But I have been doing a lot of tarot reading the last couple days so maybe that was Imbolc speaking to me lol
@@syddlinden8966 here's hoping everything does calm down for you in the coming season.
I've had the same experience with my long hair and a candle.
I've lived in a few weird places over the years. Our current apartment building is roughly my age -- 66 and counting -- and it used to have a nasty blob of something at the back of the property that a more sensitive acquaintance warned me not to mess with. Okay, fine. We moved a couple of times within the building as various repairs had to be made over the years, but then our present apartment had to be renovated for major repairs, and the only available unit was the last one at the back of the building. I salted. I saged. I laid selenite on all the window sills. The apartment itself was built a bit wonky or has subsided a bit, but by the time we moved out back to our present apartment several months later, the creepiness was gone, and we've been here another five years, for a total of fifteen. Not everything has been sunshine and roses, but life goes on, and some things are looking up despite our living in the States. Most important, we are surrounded by loving family and friends. All the best, folks.
I had a cat do that once. She was prowling around tail in air and chatting with everyone in the house. She was visiting from my expartner and was exploring. Very happy until suddenly one of my roommates, ever so slightly tipsy, yelled incoherently. This wasn't uncommon but I glanced over to see him pointing in horror and cat blissfully strolling away from a candle with her fluffy tail on fire! Those of us who were sober fell on her and beat out the flames. She was MOST affronted as she was completely unaware of the danger! Apparently my drunk roommate had stroked the length of the cat (as you do) and her tail dipped down. Always been super careful with candles since then.
Cats are definitely a good way to explain away weird sounds.
My current house was apparently always considered dark and scary by my neighbours until we moved in. There were definitely unhappy experiences that had happened so I did some rituals and explained my presence to the house. We were also slow to do renovations and discussed at length our intentions. Now people comment on how bright, welcoming and cheerful the house is.
I think those unhappy experiences had left a negative sink that needed balancing
I try to explain the idea of a “house spirit” to my niece. It also reminds me of the story about the Brownies, that a young girl wanted to go see the fairies, and was told to go see the old man by the river. The old man at the river said, “go to the water and say - ‘twist me and turn me and show me the elf, I look in the water and I saw -‘ and then you’ll know how the rest of the rhyme goes”, and she goes to the water and says the rhyme and looks in, and what does she see? herself!
It’s another idea about the fairies, that the children themselves are the “brownies” that keep the house clean while the parents are asleep.
Of course, this is only one explanation. I also believe in the concept of a true house spirit or personification.
Another thing - but about a haunted house.
I grew up in a haunted house, the spirits there did not like us. One thing I noticed, is that darkness seems “thick” and “heavy” - it’s as if light has trouble penetrating through it.
Your last video hit me in the heart. It's so important that the rest of the world knows that half of the US doesn't think like or agree with the Grand Cheeto and his toady. I so appreciate your words of encouragement and solidarity. We will fight everyday. Thank you GOC!
Lol, I'm 54 too! You're hilarious! The authentic "thank you for the compliment" thing got me. That's great, I think my aging ears need to translate people's words to positive, so I can thank them for their insults. That's brilliant!
Believing in ghosts is my guilty pleasure. I think they're just people, just like us, and treat them as such. I, too, have lost both my parents, so believing in ghosts comforts me that I'll see them again. I enjoyed Kindred Spirits (tv show) because they found out the history and treated the spirits with respect - like people. I miss that show. I'm new to house spirits though. I need to learn more about them. Thanks for the new guilty pleasure! I love learning about new ... beings.
And I'm so glad you had a good response to your last video! I'm one of the 98%. Your video comforted me. Thank you for that.
Lastly, congrats on your seeds and brass cauldron! Score!
Your positive bit jingle always reminds me of 'This Is Jinsy' and I LOVE IT
0:17 "moaning about things that don't matter very much for abt a half an hour or so" Apparently I've become a grumpy old crone without realizing it. Is there a handbook or Hi Vis I'm supposed to use? T-shirts?
Exactly. I’m a grumpy, old crone on at least a daily basis.
The place I live in now is most definitely haunted, while still being warm and loving. The poltergeist business that happens is more children laughing in the halls when no one else is home and a “shadow black cat” that streaks behind you and down the hall when you are making eye contact with the white Siamese cat on the piano in front of you. Lots of stored energy here.
I have a GIANT rabbit living in my lounge room. I a.m convinced he has eaten all my spooks because the only "spooky" I things happening these days are directly attributed to him 🐇
I have spent some time studying house Spirits and believe in them me and the kids talk to our house and have never had a worry. I know my relatives visit but I have been to haunted places and often find atmosphere holds onto the prevailing energy of who is there. True haunting is very rare and I find Spirits usally attach themselves to people rather than place. I have a friend who hates grave yards because it's full of dead people, it took me years to explain that what she was feeling is a spirit empty place and some haunted houses for me have that feeling when they have no house spirit. New houses are prone to this and I have found it very difficult to work any type of magic in a new build because the land Spirits are annoyed because its been built on and there is no house spirit in residence it then leaves a vacuum that can attract all sorts.
Things seem to happen to me like your candle problem, although I'm not Christian I still like to visit churches and cathedrals to see the historical and art in them. I do like to burn candles at home when remembering friends who have passed so when in a church I light a candle. Which leads me to my story of almost setting fire to myself in the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre in Paris thankfully Twead doesn't burn well an a quick-witted priest put me out.
Growing up in a haunted house with a mom who is psychic was extremely interesting ❤
Loved the video as always, I believe in everything from house spirits ghosts and the fairies who are not always at the bottom of our garden 😊
My house has a spirit. I know we are welcome. I’m not in the best health right now but I think the spirt tolerates my less than perfect housekeeping. I think being kind is a good way to be in the current environment. There’s so much tension here in Canada now because of our southern neighbours.
This southern neighbor is sorry. 😂
As a southern neighbour, please don’t think we are all alike. I’ve been sending good thoughts and prayers to Canada for years now.
@ thank you, we know it’s not most Americans, it’s just the oligarchs. We love our American cousins here.
My cats let me know if something or someone unseen is in my home 😄 On a positive note, you do makeup much better than me. Finally, I donated 63 books to a local Mom n Pop bookstore. They were so happy when I said I wasn't asking for credit from them; or, giving a sigh of relief
You made me laugh so much more than I feel I should have at the visuals of your hair burning incident!
Also, LiveJournal used to be where I actually journaled about my life when I wasn't "hanging out" in The Question Club. Then the russians bought it and it was not very fun anymore. (My handle was Thunderflyer because I liked to meditate during particularly violent thunderstorms, which are a nearly daily occurrence here in the summertime)
Lovely film thank you , smile it confuse people , kindness yeah . My house always seems happier with a cat!
There is a school of thought that a house needs a cat to be a home.
@@resourcedragonI’ve attended that school. It’s valid.
Thank you for a nourishing and enriching half hour. Blessings.
Thank you too!
Both my cohabitant partner and me love listening to you. We think you are awesome. He’s American and I’m Swedish and we live in Sweden.
It's funny how timing works. I was talking with my partner last night about house spirits vs ghosts. Thanks for talking about it!
I do love a good Bon Fire! 🔥
My Mom never felt anything bad, but my sister and I were aware of two houses in a row that were haunted. The first one was awful and it's now torn down. The second one was only uncomfortable in my room, when I sometimes felt like the birds in the light fixture were watching me. The fixture was really pretty, like a wreath made of tree branches with birds in nests. My sister didn't feel like she was being watched, but every time she came in my room, she smelled stale beer. Years later, we were told that an alcoholic man had committed suicide in that room a long time before by hanging himself from the previous light fixture.
Thank you for teaching us more about house spirits!! I'd also like to share that i definitely have the spirit of a cat in my home. They didn't really make themselves known until after we got our own cat, and then I would hear them once in a while while my cat was with me, running up or down the stairs as if they were so happy to have a cat living in the house with them. Sometimes things will fall over, like a box, as if they are playing. My girl Winter will also lay in places where I've heard it. I also very much appreciate everything you do for us, I know it takes a lot of work to put these videos together, and I just wanted to say thank you for all of the wonderful lessons and laughs! You are my reset for the upcoming week. ❤
Thankyou so much! It means everything to me to hear that. 🥰
🤣 the Krueger story!
Oh my word, I haven't heard LiveJournal mentioned in years! The arena of my 20s...good times.
Don't feel bad for gaining traction - it just means that your voice is hitting the people who need it, when they need it. Honestly, I'm amazed the algorithm didn't fling you my way earlier - there's a lot of great content creators on this platform but I so appreciate hearing from a fellow not-so-young Brit-witch. Blessings on you. 💜
You have made me so happy this morning! That was your good deed of the day, feel free to be naughty now. Thank you!
I wish I could start on the garden. I've still got traces of the 14 inches of snow from the blizzard.
I felt so comfortable with you just instantly - so comfortable in fact that I got a hold of my cousin and she is now also in your fan base. You’re comfy, and you’re brilliant, too. You’re funny and informative. I feel less alone in the world and how do you say thank you for that? ❤❤
I recently subscribed to your Channel, and i wholeheartedly agree with your last vid.
I hope that your friends and loved ones will be safe during this oppressive time abroad.
In regard to this vid, i personally believe that a house can hold bad energy in its walls, and hauntings are just echos of bad happenings from its history.
Anyway have a blessed day 🙂👍 🗝🖤🗝
Yesterday at my local Farmers Market I won a draw and shared a 3lb bag of local apples with the neighbours and their children
Oh wow! How great is that? I’m craving apples now…

Your sweater looks very nice.
" Doreen "...what a quintessentially English name for a chicken!😊
Good show today.👍
I spent a lot of time at my godmother's (one of my mom's younger sisters) house growing up, and that place was haunted as all get out. I think there may be some sort of portal? vortex? what-have-you in the basement. I am 99% certain that on of the "intelligent" entities (so not just replays of echos of things) was my deceased mother, because 1.) the way some of the activity was targeted at tormenting my godmother's husband, and 2.) despite being in the house while things were happening, they never came to bother me. Also, out of all of this, I'm not saying that the Hell Hounds and I are BFFs, but we certainly have a mutual understanding with each other.
I grew up in a house that had entities that, to this day, I don't know what to classify them as. Some were aware of us, others seemed not. It wasn't until I was an adult that I learned my siblings had seen them too. I moved around a bit in my early adult years, 2 places were haunted and unfriendly, one my coven performed a banishing on because the activity was escalating.
Imbolc blessings 👻☀️🕯️
I didn’t follow right after your last video, I watched a few more first. That said I will have to share you with my older sister.
I had not considered house spirit over ghost. I did start more seriously studying hearth last year.
That said I’ve a story for you.
We moved into my grandparents house in 1987. The first night we stayed the night I happened to wake up in the middle of the night and witnessed something very tall and think troll from the first Harry Potter movie. It moved from the dining hall (it really wasn’t a room room, but more of a hall with a table in it) to the living room and disappeared.
It wasn’t until about 1991-ish that I noticed anything else. It was around then that things like hearing my mom calling me, when she didn’t. Sometimes it was my voice calling my mom or my little sister calling me.
The kitchen had a pocket door we would close at night to keep the dogs out of the trash can. Well in the silence of the night you could hear water being turned on and off, dishes clanging, cupboard doors opening and closing. I was never brave enough to go look.
The basement was creepy as all get out. I always felt watched down there. Once while walking on the treadmill I felt something poke my side. I noped it right up the stairs.
Where I live now is so quiet that it’s odd.
The house li spent my teen years in went on to be occupied by a family member who went about absolutely trashing the place 😢. First time I went in I almost cried it was so bad. Then I got curious if whatever had been there was still there. I did my best to quiet myself and just listened. I did this over several visits and nothing. I think it was so bad that the house spirit or ghost or whatever left.
All that said when I talk about the improvements I want to make to my current home I always say to the house “I want to bring back your former glory when you were new.” I don’t want it to think it’s not good enough, but rather deserves being improved, updated, and kept beautiful.
Really interesting, the whole house spirits stuff! It helps to alleviate fear that I had instilled when growing up (my Dad was Irish and quite superstitious about such things). I spent time in the garden today, it’s beautifully sunny here, I topped up a few pots with fresh soil and planted some seeds to start off indoors. I lit candles while outside (ha it was breezy, not my best decision 😄) and whispered intentions for good for my family, my home, and tolerance and understanding in the world - I couldn’t do anything yesterday as I had to look after my grandson. I think Imbolc is 1st & 2nd Feb but my intention was to celebrate it so that should count (this is all new to me, lots to try and understand). Either way, it was lovely to sit there a short while with the warm sun on my face.
I loved your last video. It made me cry. Thank you! Also, thanks for the update on your chickens. Are you expecting eggs? 😃
I adopted them from my son’s MiL as their garden wasn’t secure and they kept escaping (think “Chicken Run”). I don’t know if they are still laying or not, but if they go broody I’m getting some fertile eggs under them to hatch!🐣
Kindness is wonderful
I have a recurring ghost that rings my doorbell once at night. I'm never sure if I'm dreaming or not. I just go back to sleep
Doreen. Nearly chocked on my dinner as it’s my mom’s name. She’s housebound and you’ve aggro-phobic chickens and it was just ironic.
As for your previous video, my feelings are not the same but I will argue for your right to voice your opinions. My family and friend base is a wide mix of personalities and we respect each other and our choices. A world that does that would be much nicer for all.
Thank you for another great video of common sense and humour. Happy gardening/growing of your bargain seeds🙏😀
Haha, about the cosplay I accidentally went out looking like Ozzy Osborne without realising one day, until a young bloke coming out of the pub saw me and addressed me as Ozzy, lol. I pretended to be deaf! ;)
Old school Ozzy was THE BEST!
I grew up with house spirits and some scary/annoying haunts. The harassing activity correlated strongly with having adolescents in the house. The wall-banging and cupboard door slamming was the worst part.
I find these chats lovely and funny. Thank you for sharing.
Are we related? 🤣 I'm always doing things that normal people just don't do.
I used to get this "you're just looking for attention!" comments all the time when I did UA-cam! It baffled me cuz DUH! If I didn't want people to see my videos I would have set them to private 🤷🏻♀️ .
P.S. Your last video was great! I love to see witches taking a stance
Congratulations on the new subscribers. Your channel is great 🎉
I loved your last video and also why I subscribed ❤ I am glad that you showed up in my feed 😊
Loved this and I’m so happy to see your channel boom 💥 it’s well deserved love the content! I always get a big smile on my face when I get the notification of an upload!
Thank you so much!! (I have just gone and subscribed to you too!)
I’m all caught up!!! I stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago - binged watched as much as good and now I’m all caught up!! Love the video/s and can’t wait for the next…. Love to hear more about your practice and how you make oils etc etc 😊 I also shared your video from last week with several friends ( New Englander here)
More than likely any "bumps" in the night are my 17-year-old cat doing the zoomies after taking a dump. It's apparently called "fecal euphoria". 😹
Although I do have a domovoi in the house. I once saw him moving from the stove to the refrigerator as a weird dark animal-shape one time. I think he may have been hungry which is why he headed for the refrigerator. No. It was not my cat. She was sleeping at the time.
I have another house spirit who helps me find things I've misplaced.
We had one that did the zoomies pre dump. Then she was normal after. Lol
Was so great to see you today. Thank you for your insight. You stated you have been making videos, I have not found any of your videos for what feels like a long time. Was thinking you were affected by the bad weather last week. Be well sweet lady.
If you’d like to know when I put out videos, feel free to subscribe! I generally do a video once per week ❤️.
I think you are a brilliant witch 😂 so funny! Freddy Krueger 😂 great outfit. Im 54 too, I wouldn't trust anyone yelling cat calls to me LOL I have a few amazing house spirits.
Omg, you've made my day! ❤
Thank you 😁
I absoluely LOVE your UA-cam station! and tell it like it is! If you ever get a chance to talk about Gaiansim I would love to learn more. I get the feeling from the little research I've done that I am a Gaianist/Animist. I look forward to your quick wit and intelligence every week! Thank you for all your efforts Annie!
I found your channel last week, and I've been watching several of your videos since then. Love it! Yes, yes, and yes again to the kindness bit. I've not encountered a time where kindness has done me wrong. Shining happiness and positivity your way!!
I don't believe in ghost as in the spirit of the dead trapped in a certain place haunting it. I believe more like what people think are haunting are energy burns on the environment. Like when something of great emotion happens say a murder or child's death or something that creates a huge emotional output it burns that into the environment and thus it's like a movie reel on repeat. When a huge emotional imprint occurs it's like a magnetic force drawing in more big emotional imprints. That's why places with negative energy are sometimes so strong it keeps drawing in more. Resulting in years or generations of so called haunting but actually just emotional imprints burned upon the environment.
My house spirit has an aversion to those motion activated or timed air fresheners. I’ve found them on the floor in pieces, not on the shelf where i put it. After 3 broken ones, I gave in and threw them away. The house spirit is fine with the smaller basic one that sits on the window cill. I have bells all around my house, I tinkle them to let them know I’m there.
Only found your channel recently but I will say you are a breath of much needed fresh air. I find your videos quite calming amidst the chaos so thanks for that! I would also love to get more info about Mr Grumpy old Crones Leather projects/business!
That bambi in a bucket thing rings a bell. I think I may have followed you on lj back in the day lol
don't worry, losing a few subs over a political statement means cleansing your channel of unworthy people. not unworthy because of their opinion, no, unworthy because of their attitude towards people who dare to disagree with them.
also please do a video in freddy attire, that'd be lovely!
Radical Acts of Kindness, love it! Thank you for another wonderful video, hope you have a blessed week.💞
I'm glad to have stumbled across your channel a couple of weeks ago. It's funny I had subscribed right away but ended up having to search you out, but all's good now.
If you hit the notifications button, it should tell you when I upload - I try to do something new every week.
You are so welcome. I discovered you just at the right moment. It's refreshing and a relief to find a fellow Crone not afraid to speak her truth. Merry Meet. 🍄🧙♀️🪄
A great big hug from India.
Got your back all the way cariad! xc
Having the stairs facing the front door is bad feng shui. 😊 Loved your haunted story. I've experienced ghosts. None of them "bad," although the home I grew up in, had the poltergiest activity that I believe was created by the negative energy of my parents. Where I live now, we have spirits pass through, although not like when we first moved in. If it gets too messy, the spirits let me know. 😂😂✌️❤️
Deffo comfy is top of my list though warmth at mo, as I'm living in my dog den while building sanctuary in north cyprus mountains.
