it's always nice to see a chopper whistling away at hope valley cement works they have used then for decades my brother used to come here regularly in the 1980s as there was always loads of tractors here class 37s in use or on standby! the odd one is seen there still today! I would love to live near there seeing a chopper up there everyday 🥰 nice video 🤩
Remember seeing 20906 when it as in Hunslet Barclay livery at Hunslet's place in Kilmarnock back in the early 90's......the choppers are great work horses.
Brilliant video well done great camera work as usual as well i am really enjoying your lovely videos and camera work i have just got home to ribchester from Norfolk bye for now Philip

I knew there was a 20 based there,but didnt realize it was 20906.Great video.👍
20168 also does this work both with silencers fitted
Sounds very different doesn't it with the silencer and without the trademark whistle
Is the Caterpillar engined "Blue John" still about?
I believe Blue Circle owned a Sentinel shunter at one time as well.
Nice vid, where is this location ?
In the Peak District near Castleton.
Thx Nelson
Surprised you didn't see 20309
Great video though granted with the exhaust silencer fitted it has lost the well known whistle and noise we all know from the class 20's
Are there actually any original parts left on that Class 20 ????
It looks awful
Fantastic video shame the 20 is fitted with a silencer
Not sure the residents of Hope would agree with you. I notice UK railfans seem to prefer English Electric to Sulzer...
Great footage thanks !
Sadly the class 20 is ruined without the chopper/whistle sound 😢
I hate the door windows….
