@lana lake hey we aren't all lazy! Most kids know how hard people work, and appreciate it. Most of us have been in retail or food service at one point or another and we know how much of a difference a simple "thank you" can make!

When that kid saw his knee injury in the ambulance, I seen that happen to EVERYONE. As soon as they see the injury and the damage with their own eyes all the pain comes at once
not to mention the shock of "Oh holy f***ing sh** that's MY leg!!"

A couple years back the fireman knocked on my door, they asked if I could take these children till their dad came home, of course, I fed them along with my grandchildren...they all had a great time in the back yard, I have swings, slide, play house...funny, I have kids come to the front door for water, bandages, they call me grandma too, one little girl came to door and asked if the old lady come out and play....I sat on the bench up front and she talked and talked....I love it

You say 8, you get painkillers. That's their purpose. Once you go past an 8, that's too much pain, so they dope ya up. Always say at least an 8 if you want painkillers!
@@RNG-999 ER nurse here to tell you that is terrible advice. First off, no one is given pain medications based solely on their subjective pain score. We look at the bigger picture (vitals, history, physical assessment) in order to determine what medications to give. Lying about your pain in order to get pain medications isn't going to work out well for you in the long term.
I remember I had to get 2 doses of Ketamine and some other painkillers the first time I dislocated my knee and I was still hurting. The thing is the painkillers work different depending on the person in relation to the body and the injury.
Some pain meds are no joke, i was once waking up from a surgery and i was woozy but in incredible pain, they put something in the iv that almost instantly made my body feel kinda cold and there was no pain at all. I personally dont use anything over ibuprofen but with that feeling i see why people lie for higher kinds.

That little 8 yr. old girl is absolutely precious. She’s got those little ones in hand, honey 🤣 She reminds me of my daughter when she was 8. She was always monitoring and instructing her little brother and reminding him of everything he was supposed to do because Mommy had said so. And she would put her hands on her hips just like that little girl in the video!! My Mom called her “little mother” 🤣 I would have to tell her to ease up on her brother sometimes cause she was like a little dictator 😂and that precious little girl reminds me of her so much. My daughter is 25 now, has no kids, very focused on her career and her “little” brother is now 6’5, 22, has no kids, and is very successful in the military because he says his sister was his original Drill Sargent and she put the military to shame. And if he could survive her the military is a breeze and he can survive anything. Which she finds hysterically funny😄when they got to adolescence they became the best of friends which has lasted into their adulthood’s and it makes me so happy that they are as close as they are.

Well... the house wasn't really on fire. It looks like it because of the massive smoke collum and considering the radiating heat it probably wasn't far off, but when they arrived the actual fire (as in: the flames consuming burning material) was confined to the basement and they knocked it down relatively quick with one line. This is the case in many fires, where the smoke is way worse and is both vector and dangerous agent to residents more than the flames or the heat. So it was good of him to tell the FD that it started in the basement - he might have used other words and a more coordinated approach if he had all his senses together, but we have to be real: his freaking house was on fire! I want to see everyone of you be calm in that moment.
