Exactly. The real hero's, EMT's, Nurses, Teachers, etc. IMO, don't make nearly enough given the responsibilities they have to take on & the incredible work MOST do. ( we got to keep it real, there are some rotten apples in every position) The majority go above & beyond & should be rightly compensated.

When the paramedic was trying to calm the kid telling him to 'Smell the roses, blow out the candles' a few tears came to my eyes. Because that was exactly what a nurse told me when I was hospitalized for my asthma attack.
the guy was clinically dead for idk how long but your worried about the animals. like i get you probably luv animals and stuff but he was literally dead.
@@blubtheevie7398 Being compassionate for humans and animals is a thing. Everyone understands his situation was dire so you just accept it at face value. The animals aren't getting help while he's away so you may as well be more compassionate for the animals.
The paramedic "oh goodness" proceeded by calling her "babygirl" is just wholesome and awesome. The way they handled the psych patient was honestly amazing.
I will say... I'm not surprised that his head hurts... But I am surprised that he was alive, verbally responsive and could answer questions considering the through and through headshot.
call me stupid but im positve the temple isnt part of the brain so there is a chance he could survive. maybe blind or worst a vegetable, thats incredible that he survived that! i wish to know the rest of his story!!
It depends where the bullet passed through in his temple. If quite low, around the level of the eyes, the bullet would have missed the main body of the brain but certainly would have damaged or ruined the visual cortex and possibly the visual association area at the front of the brain.
@@tempting.tiffaniee9573 you have the temporal frontal lobes. However, I can't say for sure an average of where they begin/end. But, had he been unlucky and wound up surviving a short through there, he would've lost inhibition, initiative, short term memory/working memory, most likely gotten paralyzed in the face or at least lost a lot of the fine motor skills. Although, it is somewhat of a miracle that he survived it still, even if it didn't hit the "important" bits of the brain. The amount of bleeding that veins and capillaries can do, especially in the head after something as traumatic as a gunshot... He had luck in the bad luck.
You can't get more rewarding than literally bringing a dead man back to life, saving a life, and taking care of kids. Got to respect these guys. I feel bad for the giy having the manic episode.... I've had those. Nothing makes sense, and the whole world is dangerous. They handled that very well.
Yes like a breathing method..in through the nose out through the mouth.. sometimes with my 3 year old when he is all worked up about something, I'll calmly say it and it works well with him.

What happened to the kitty and dog in the house that was infested with roaches ? Poor guy came back to life because of great medical help. You’re all so amazing. Thank you all so much for what you do. Big love 💕
No matter how many times I see these paramedics start CPR on someone "clinically deceased", I get goosebumps when they get a pulse back. That humans can die and be brought _back to life_ by other humans, medicine, and machinery is just so _awesome_ to me.
It makes me so sad to see children scared, sick, and in pain. Doctors, nurses, and EMTs who work with children are so patient and so kind. They are literally angels on earth! I have met some unkind medical workers and honestly there is just no need for people like that. These EMTs are so kind and they are doing things right.
It’s so bizarre to me how only a few years ago everyone was running calls with only gloves as PPE. I started working in EMS in the beginning of covid and I can’t imagine going on a call without an n95 and eyepro lol. Culture of healthcare has definitely changed.
That baby just wanting her doll for comfort was heart breaking! She knew what would comfort her when she knew her mommy couldn’t. I hope she and her mother and other baby in the car are doing well and all healed fine!! Bless them!
This show inspires me to become a person that works in healthcare I’m currently studying for my CNA state test once I pass that I plan on going to school for EMT. I know I will have to see some terrible things but also I will see good things and for my CNA experience during my clinicals I made a difference in one of my patient life and we had a heart to heart conversation. So if I can help people and be there for them then that’s what I’m gonna do. 😌
How terrified must that mother have felt! Hearing that baby cry must have been like music to the ears! Bless that poor family. Thank god mum had them secured safely! That little girl asking about the baby doll broke my heart! Bless her! Thank god they were OK These guys are all so amazing with little ones. Trying to calm that young boy down and treat him must be so hard what an amazing job they all do!
That first one really broke my heart with the baby and little girl! I wanted to be a paramedic so bad but I don’t think I could handle little ones being badly injured or deceased! 😭 that’s why I never went to school for it... props to all the EMT’s and Paramedics, firefighters, nurses and doctors out there!
5:09 Great call! He's too young to understand the multitude of people around him are health professionals and are there to help him. Clearing the ambulance and having that one-on-one conversation with him was an MVP move. This paramedic knew all that over-talking and people on him was not helping his breathing and worsening the kid's health, but how he talked to him; that's a paramedic that cares for their patients from his heart and not just sees them as cases to tend and get over with. He cares about their patients' medical emergencies to be as less traumatic and stressful as possible. So compassionate. 🥺 That was beautiful. 💙
The best thing ever for a paramedic is not only to have their patients as respectful as possible but also see a pulse reading on the monitor... Huge respect for the mother for safely securing her two little children. In the background, you can see the male officer rocking the baby in his arms...huge respect for keeping the baby safe and calm amidst all the hectic commotion!
As someone who's been chronically ill their whole life, I feel for that little boy in the second clip. It's terrifying when you're having a reaction like that, you can't breathe, everything hurts, you don't know what's going on, and then you have to get an IV! Needles can be scary at any age, especially when you're young, and it doesn't help when you're already freaking out. Poor kid, I hope he's okay both mentally and physically ❤️
I love it when the patients aren’t scared and not worried and they’re in a very good mood even though they’re very badly injured and act like it’s nothing and having fun with the emergency service people
Oh wow the first accident was just horrific. I remember being in a similar accident when I was a child and how scared I was. Poor babies thank god they were properly secured thanks to mama ❤️
@@CryBlueofZ I’m not sure that makes sense. A “device” or “machine” just does its job. There is no try or not try. I could also say that from my personal experience that a lot of people don’t do chest compressions hard enough because they’re afraid of hurting the patient. That machine does it the proper way every single stroke. If you mean it doesn’t try like a person meaning it won’t get emotional and keep working on a patient that’s beyond recovery, then I guess you’re right. But then again, it’s a machine. It does what the operator tells it. It’s not A.I. Personally, I’ll take a LUCAS over some other pieces of equipment and definitely over some other people.
Just the humanity of the EMT who taught the panicking kid the “smell the roses/blow out the candle” meditation has me over here wanting to bawl. I’m 45, meaning that my childhood was spent in the ‘80s. And back in those days, most adults’ attitudes about kids was that they should be seen and not heard. Which, if you were a kid, you weren’t truly allowed to BE a kid in a complete sense of the word. When I was 12, I fell while riding my skateboard and, because I was visiting family at the time in this tiny southern town, I had to be taken to the ER at the hospital there in order to have my arm set and a cast put on. But just before this, in order to help with the pain and to sedate me, they needed to give me a shot in my butt cheek. Of course, I quite literally fought with them and refused to participate…so, instead of doing what this ONE paramedic did for the kid in this video, the male nurse who treated me decided that holding me down and screaming at me to “stop screaming” would do the job. It didn’t.

I am so happy that those babies were safely secured in those car seats! Mom gets a golden star!
Hats off from a nurse to all the paramedics who save lives on a daily basis!!!
You guys and gals are wonderful beautiful people!🥰
I gotta say, I knew why my mom made me sit in one you know but I never got to see a clear example. I'm glad they are okay. I seriously hope I get to do the same as she did when I have kids.
@@theoutcastedchannel6212 I hope you do to one day. Just protect those babies. 💜
Allways buckle in the children, no 1 priority, danger possible around any corner GREAT JOB MOM🌠🌠🌠🌠
“And you’re gonna feel a finger up your butt. They gotta check for bleeding inside.” The look on the dudes face lol. (Btw that’s happened to me before, it was very uncomfortable. 1/10 do not recommend)
Under appreciate comment lol. Had a finger in my butt for a back injury. -10/10 would not recommend either.
@Pro Gamer oh lord. Hey, you like what you like right 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have a chronic intestinal disease so stuff up my butt is common medical procedure for me. 0/10 please don’t
Same but hey,we are still here because of it lol
At first I thought he was joking!!! 😂 but then it was very serious
When the paramedic was trying to calm the kid telling him to 'Smell the roses, blow out the candles' a few tears came to my eyes. Because that was exactly what a nurse told me when I was hospitalized for my asthma attack.
Aww, the toddler at the beginning is precious. She's scared and in pain, yet is still being so polite. Her little "thank you" was so sweet. 😭
The girl literally went through a big accident and she still manage to be polite ✋🏻😂

Those poor animals, I feel bad that he couldn’t take care of all of them well enough
Same 🙊
The man nearly died....you’re talking about the animals😀??
@@zxmyree7765 Right
the guy was clinically dead for idk how long but your worried about the animals. like i get you probably luv animals and stuff but he was literally dead.
@@tempting.tiffaniee9573 I'm not 100% but I think he did end up becoming permanently blind in both eyes afterwards.
@@elliemay6327 Yes, he did. They say that at the end of his trip in the ambulance. Both eyes just.. exploded so to speak.
I cry like a baby when I see these people helping and saving lives
Thats good you're a good human being..
My mom always said smell the soup, cool the soup. I have passed it on to others so many times. Love it.
What do you mean?..
@@car7272 They most likely mean a method for breathing and better focusing on the breathing.
Yes like a breathing method..in through the nose out through the mouth.. sometimes with my 3 year old when he is all worked up about something, I'll calmly say it and it works well with him.
The paramedic in the second clip was so sweet calming down that little boy when he needed it and reassuring him that he was safe and that he was going to be okay🥺
That first responder rocking that little baby touched my heart like no other. 💛💚💙💜
As an ER nurse for 28 plus yrs I love these guys they make a good team and aren’t judgemental and are competent as well as compassionate
Retired Trauma too. The workers in the field are awesome. No doubt.
Babies were secured, even well mannered in a trauma situation…amazing mom!!

“never talk to me again please” 🤣🤣
As a volunteer firefighter/EMT, I can tell you that those LUCAS devices are a game changer. Definitely one of the most valuable pieces of equipment on our truck. Good job on all y’all for bringing him back. No better feeling.
Was that the big machine thing doing chest compressions? I’m in the uk and we don’t have those, I had no idea what it was
@@eggygeorge Yes. Check out some videos. If you have any involvement in emergency services, I’d definitely research what you’d need to have them in the UK.
The first clip is so heartwarming. Its just reminded me in not able to do this job because of emotions.
Keeley is so good with kids. She's so sweet and gentle and trying to keep them calm.
23:37 “I’m about to get in this mf” that dude is the best😂
Best guy ever
😂🤣🤣 had me dying
The brother who was willing to cause his own insurance rates to go up to stop his brother running away was priceless.
I was in a car accident when I was five years old my brother got a black eye and his head cut and I got a bruise on my leg my mom and dad had glass all over them and cuts I remember being in the ambulance and they wrapped my leg and put warm water on me I also remember waiting for my mom and dad to come out the nurses gave me popsicles it was my first time in a hospital since birth I am 27 I still thank god I am alive
🙏🏻♥️
“And your gonna feel a finger inside your butt” that had me dying his face expression tho🤣
"Man, I know but they gotta check the bleeding"
I was ROLLING
Thank you for the way you treated that psych patient. My brother is schizophrenic and I’ve had been in that situation many times before, unfortunately I cannot say that the first responders were that nice to him though.
I absolutely adore these videos. EMTS are angels.
The little girl in this clip that wanted her dolly, even though she was hurt and scared, really touched my heart when the lady said I like your tennis shoes, the way she said Thank you! Oh my goodness, to be that young and so scared and so polite! Her mommy has done something right!
Love, love, love watching this show. It redeems my faith in humanity to see how these guys and gals work together, stay closely knit, and always stay positive. There is hope that America can survive the current ills with people like this. Thank you for what you do!
What happened to the kitty and dog in the house that was infested with roaches ? Poor guy came back to life because of great medical help. You’re all so amazing. Thank you all so much for what you do. Big love 💕
I sure hope they got removed and owner charged for animal cruelty.
I’ve never seen a CPR machine like that. Crazy!

The lil black dude with the Beetlejuice voice is hilarious😂
When he was reading the text messages. I was rolling.
Oh that sweet toddler, my heart🥺💗
No matter how many times I see these paramedics start CPR on someone "clinically deceased", I get goosebumps when they get a pulse back. That humans can die and be brought _back to life_ by other humans, medicine, and machinery is just so _awesome_ to me.
These EMTs and paramedics are amazing at what they do. Thank God we have great men and women like them and God bless them.
Episode with The little boy Eric is a prime example of why us parents need to try our best to keep peace in the home , stress can harm us all .. 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Oh my goodness, the little “thank you” broke my heart
It’s so bizarre to me how only a few years ago everyone was running calls with only gloves as PPE.
I started working in EMS in the beginning of covid and I can’t imagine going on a call without an n95 and eyepro lol. Culture of healthcare has definitely changed.
You private or city?
It sure has!
Oh that's exciting, you will do well because you sincerely care.
How terrified must that mother have felt! Hearing that baby cry must have been like music to the ears! Bless that poor family. Thank god mum had them secured safely! That little girl asking about the baby doll broke my heart! Bless her! Thank god they were OK
These guys are all so amazing with little ones.
When Keeley said,"it started out fun with the twerking then things got serious real quick,"I thought this is a huge premise for the show.
The one captain reading the messages had me weak😂😂😂😂
5:09 Great call! He's too young to understand the multitude of people around him are health professionals and are there to help him. Clearing the ambulance and having that one-on-one conversation with him was an MVP move. This paramedic knew all that over-talking and people on him was not helping his breathing and worsening the kid's health, but how he talked to him; that's a paramedic that cares for their patients from his heart and not just sees them as cases to tend and get over with. He cares about their patients' medical emergencies to be as less traumatic and stressful as possible. So compassionate. 🥺 That was beautiful. 💙
I love these guys, Titus was made to do that job, his interaction with the people is beautiful xx
I can not express just how much I love, appreciate, and miss Nightwatch. I love all of these people and the job that they do
I wish they would update on how the patients are doing.
They usually do at the end of the episodes! It’s my favorite part about the show 🥺
They do in the full episodes, sometimes they even run into the patients it's really cool
I love the endearing names and how they take care of people as if they were their own families. God bless these people
the little guy in the second video, that’s a terrifying situation to not be able to breathe and be so scared. So thankful for EMT’s!
5:30 the guy is so clam and collective with the kid it’s so nice to see people like this with their job u can tell he loves his job
Not the baby girl crying for her babydoll. I physically cannot. My heart.
Watching Keely interact with her patients brings me joy.
23:55 don’t ever call me again. That was the best part of the video. 😂😂😂

To all the first responders..thank-you for all the hard work that you do.
The firefighter reading the texts 🤣
“An injury that’s not compatible with life” 😆 best line ever!! God Bless all our First Responders ❤️

That cpr machine is frickn terrifying! 😳
But also incredible! Such an important piece of machinery
@@amandasnider2644 it never tires like a person would
It also sounds very weird at least the ones in our Er
LUCAS device. Absolutely amazing and impressive piece of equipment. Frees up a set of hands to help out and it doesn’t get tired.
Keelee is the sweetest. I hope all ended up ok. What a wonderful team of ems and first responders
This is heart breaking. I can’t even stand the idea of these poor kids in any type of danger.
“And your gonna feel a finger up your butt” ok. That’s encouraging.

So cute how the responder was holding that baby so protectively
Bruh the emergency responders reading that guys texts omg 😂😭
Currently taking Phlebotomy/EMT classes and y’all make me really wanna reconsider and become a paramedic 🥺
You have to be an EMT first before becoming a Paramedic, so you're on the right track.
It didn’t.
12:22 We may not be able to see his face, but I know that we can all tell EXACTLY what look he had on his face lol. Hope he's doing better now.
That little girl being able to say thank you for the tennis shoes is so sweet ❤️
