  • On Thanksgiving morning, Kelsey Berreth was baking and catching up with her mom before going to the shops to prep for dinner that night. But after this, she vanished...
    An investigation would lead police 800 miles away... and it was this trip, plus some intense bodycam footage, that would finally get them some answers about what happened to Kelsey.

      She was 'in love/lust' with the guy, obviously mesmerized by him. Psychopaths apparently have this way with women. She did it all because she wanted to please the man she was crazy about. Only spilled the beans when she realised cops were onto them. She's a lying idiot.

      Exactly this.
      I can understand that she may have been afraid of him (although I think that is possibly a lie anyway) but she is 13 hours away at the point of that phone call, and if she had’ve called the police the murder scene would have been intact, Kelsey’s body still there and he would have been looking at life in jail where he was no threat to her anyway.
      That’s without even touching on the fact that she knew he wanted Kelsey dead anyway and did nothing to forewarn her.
      I hope Cheryl’s actions give her sleepless nights and I hope Patrick lives a long and frustrating life where he is regularly on the end of a good shoe-ing in prison.

    I'm not sure if I missed it because I've been moving around the house cleaning... but if i remember correctly, Patrick had first asked Crystal to deliver poisoned Starbucks coffee to Kelsey. Crystal said she couldn't go through with it and didn't end up delivering the coffee...
    That in itself is enough reason to know Crystal was well aware of Patrick's plans and could herself have been the killer if she'd have gone through with that.
    I believe the only part of Kelsey they found was a tooth under the floorboards of her home.
    This is one of the worst cases to have happened in recent years, both in the absolutely shocking brutality shown to Kelsey for apparently no reason at all, as well as the awful way her body was treated after she was murdered.
    But what makes it worse is that her precious baby daughter is never going to know or even remember her mum and that alone is absolutely awful to imagine. But then to know her own father was the one to do it...?! It's just impossible to grasp how a child could cope with that. It's going to be hard for her and I pray she and the rest of Kelsey loved ones and family can somehow find peace and strength through Jesus Christ. 🙏

      @sorryifoldcomment8596 5 днів тому +7

      The initial plan involving Crystal + poisoned coffee is _very_ briefly mentioned at 17:20, but she doesn't state the brand of coffee _(doesn't mention anything about Starbucks, etc.)_ or exactly why the coffee plan fell through...although it's clear Patrick wasn't the reason, leaving me to assume Crystal fell through.
      Totally understandable you missed it while cleaning, especially considering it only took up ~5 seconds of the total run time and unique words your ear was probably listening for (like "Starbucks") weren't even included in those 5 seconds. I'm sitting on my butt doing nothing else lol; plus I luckily read your comment right before minute 17...allowing my attention to immediately be grabbed when the single sentence about the coffee was spoken around 17:25.
      Hope you're feeling properly happy with how much cleaning you got done! 😊✌

    There's just no surprise anymore when a woman (especially pregnant or with a baby/small child) disappears and turns out to have a reluctant, apathetic partner. I don't know what it is that snaps in some men's heads from "unhappy partnership" to murder, but the dial seems to skip over "divorce" and turn straight to "murder" with nothing in between. It's just the same pattern over and over again and I want to know why.

    Look at the way a person treats animals. Look at how they talk about the people they are supposed to love (family & friends). Look at how they treat people in 'menial' positions (waiting staff, housekeeping staff, the gardener).
    If they are humble, treat everyone with the respect they deserve and like and treat defenceless animals with compassion .....only after those boxes are ticked should a person be even considered to be part of your life.

    Krystal's claim that she was "threatened" to comply with cleaning up the crime scene is pure BS. As soon as she heard the plan, she could've reported him to the cops. The moment she walked in on Kelsey's apartment, she could've called the cops. She had no issue helping him deliver poisoned coffee to Kelsey in the attempt to snuff her out. She should've been separately charged for attempted murder for that alone. She's a mother too, didn't she feel a sliver of empathy or conscience that a child will grow up without a mother?
    In my opinion, she's just as guilty as Patrick. Sure, she didn't swing the bat, but she could've stopped this from happening from the start.

    It's now been nearly 6 years since Kelsey lost her life in the cruelest way no one could ever imagine. Though her k!ller will spend the rest of his days behind bars, her loved ones were never the same after this horrific event that forever changed their lives, especially her young daughter Kaylee, who is now left to grow up without her mom, & that TRULY broke our hearts. 💔 Sadly, this case left behind so many questions that will remain unanswered for years to come. A bright & beautiful soul taken from this earth far too soon. We wanted to send nothing but love & prayers to little Kaylee, the rest of the Berreth family & the entire Woodland Park community as they continue to heal & move forward by keeping Kelsey's name alive & focusing on the future rather than dwelling on the past. May Kelsey continue to rest in peace, & may her memory forever be a blessing for all the lives that she touched. ❤🙏🏻 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." {John 3:16 NKJV}

    “She was unstable”
    “The crazy ex girlfriend”
    So strange how it’s these so called crazy women that keep getting brutally killed and abused by their “totally cooperative” and “rational” boyfriends/male partners
    UA-cam is one of the worst places for having comment sections and memes that mock women and girlfriends for being crazy; in my experience the victim blaming is worse than Reddit. And that’s saying something
    It’s time people on UA-cam addressed the scum that lurk in the comments
