Not revealing the body to give the family closure because it’s the only form of control they have left is what one would expect from this pathetic excuse for a human being.
He not only should not be parolled until he gives up the body, he should have a year added on for every year he keeps it secret.
@@_Y.Not_ That's a double negative!
@@_Y.Not_ yes indeed. 💯💯
@@messrsandersonco5985 the grammar is the most important thing? Worry about your own writing.
@@messrsandersonco5985 Wrong channel and wrong information. This is about murder, not questionable advice on grammar. And no, this is not a double negative. This is an example of a double negative: "I haven't got no money," which means "I have got money." The sentence you refer to means exactly what it says: if the killer doesn't reveal the body it is a method of retaining control.
Even if this pathetic excuse for a man does eventually tell authorities the whereabouts of Sarah’s body, he should never be released from prison. He’s deprived his own children of their mother as well as Sarah’s other children in finality through domestic violence. He is a monster. The legal system needs to change. Domestic violence requires harsher penalties.
The ultimate penalty of death really should be used more often.
@@SpiritGirlSF The death penalty isn’t used in the UK 😞
@@Areniapixie Yes, I know but still.... Why did it get outlawed? If the history books are correct there was a whole lot of death penalty used for all kinds of things even on children for stealing food in the UK back in the not so distant past, did the People say "No more"? Or was it government?
@@SpiritGirlSF mix of both, but the death penalty does nothing.......
@@SpiritGirlSF There are plenty of wrongful convictions that result in someone being sentenced to death. We’re trying to enforce the rules that others can’t take lives so why would it make sense to take their life? It doesn’t. I do not believe in the death penalty whatsoever.
So sick that he would kill her, a mother of 5, and take her away on her child's BIRTHDAY. He didn't want her to be with anyone else. Or happy. Moving in with him was the worst mistake she could've made 😔
Exactly, the fact he so selfishly did away with her and didn't register it was one of the children's birthdays and they will have to be reminded and unable to celebrate every year. What a complete c*** I bet it was one of her eldest boys' birthday just to be more evil about it.
Yes, I think the CCTV "set up" in his bedroom is testament to the kind of control freak he was. Luckily he isn't the sharpest tool in the box and was convicted without finding that poor lady's body. I hope that potato head rots in jail. I hope that Sarah's body is found without him. RIP Sarah. I'm so sorry that happened to you. 💕🙏🏼💕
I think he would have done it no matter where she lived.
Maybe she had no other choice, place to go it's so difficult for her children her sons the family needs to know where there mother is so they can give her the bureal that she deserves I pray that she will be found
On one of the child's birthday is so sick. It's suppose to be a very special day. He could care less about anyone's feeling's.
That poor, sweet woman. She was and is so loved. I hope she’s found so that her loved ones can have some closure.
Once you separate from your ex never go back alone or hang around. So many men are pathetically unable to let go, and there are too many of these similar stories out there

@@BrenMurphy1 I agree but unless you’ve been in an abusive relationship, you have no idea of the messed up bond it creates. It completely rewires your brain- especially if you’re really young. It’s not as easy as saying “I won’t go back”; I wish it was.
Sarah bore him three children, their relationship did not work out,she kindly had him live in the home too co parent. Something tells me Sarah had a heart of gold and always put her children first. Her ex partner decided too deprive five children of a much loved mother because he wanted too be in charge. Personally l hope he is never released from prison. Very cruel and conniving man.

@colinsmith.1288. Please don't use 'too' when you mean 'to'. Mistakes in grammar mean a lack of attention to detail, and l start doubting a person's integrity.......🤷
This is so sad, she was a hardworking mother and was happy to finally able to stand up by herself with a better job... Rest in Peace Sarah :(
She was kind with him even after separation. Yet he killed her not because he cared for the kids. He did it because he is a definition of pure evil.
He killed her because she bruised is ego!!!! There are so called men that they can't stand that a woman can make more money , be smarter, etc.

Maybe he couldn't take her taking his kids away from him. He didn't seem too bothered when she left before, and he kept his kids. Or when she started a new relationship, but he was still able to live and keep his relationship with his kids. Jumping on dating apps at the first sign of difficulty is low and she'd done it with her previous husband also. There's a very flippant attitude towards a fathers relationship with his kids. I'm not excusing her murder but just shining a different light on it.

Always surprised me how stupid guys are when they kill their partners, they are alway so quick to try and get the insurance money or to try to do things like get sole custody of kids or sell property. It just makes you look incredibly uncaring and greedy and really guilty.
It makes sense to file for emergency custody if the only other person who looks after the children is not around at that point. Someone needs to be a present legal guardian. The rest it silly though.

@@eadweard. sorry thought they were talking about prior to her being murdered not after
I feel so bad for the children. This is a huge burden on them. Especially the eldest son.
It more than annoys me when defence lawyers say “this person has no history of criminal activity”.
From watching a lot of your videos, a fair number of convicted murders had no previous convictions for any crime. So when the defence says something like that about their client, I’d bet that water is dry before believing them.
It's kinda their job.
It's a mitigation tactic. Ppl without criminal histories get better plea deals (in the US, at least) and better sentencing in general in some cases. However, if the person was generally not shitty, then there will be tons of other positive characteristics brought up. If the defense is really over-emphasizing lack of criminal history, it's bc the person sucks and there's nothing else that would make people like them/give them a better outcome. Source: I worked in criminal defense for 3 years.
It is the case that people with extensive criminal records are more likely to escalate to murder.
It doesn’t mean that you can’t be a murderer if you have no prior convictions it’s just that it is, statistically, a lot less likely that you would
@@sabrinatscha2554 Exactly so.
I agree. And I absolutely love the U.K.'s spelling of the word defence- you are our defense from arseholes like Putin. We ❤️ you 🇬🇧 -your cousins from 🇺🇸
Every murderer that will not give up the location of a victim should not have any prison “perks” like tv, internet, taco Tuesday’s..whatever just put them in the hole until they crack. Why does the prison system have to be humane to proven killers when they were clearly not humane to their victims.. 🤨 This isn’t an eye for an eye thing. It is simple, give them the option “if you want food, shower toilet..you have to give up the body”
Such a policy would immediately be denounced as racist.
That’s a slippery slope they lock innocent ppl all the time and prison is already hell on earth unless u in some type of Scandinavian prison
They wouldn’t do this as it’s against basic human rights. No matter how disgusting their crimes they get off easily in the UK. They get better treatment than most elderly in residential care.
That would be great if there was a 100% fool proof way to know if someone is truly guilty of the crime they’ve been convicted of, but unfortunately there isn’t, because innocent people get convicted of crimes they’re innocent of way to often.
@@ericwoodlee9745 Well do you oppose life sentences on those grounds?
I don't get why he'd kill her because she wanted to buy his half of the house? that would give him money? the thing I learn from these type of deaths by an abusive partner or ex is...never tell them your plans. don't tell them you're leaving, just do it.
Well she wasn't really leaving, she was planning to buy him out, meaning she would want him to leave. You can't exactly "just do" that without their knowledge. And it wasn't about money, it was about control. As it stood, even though Sarah was seeing someone else, she still lived in a house with him, as did their children, and he could make her life more difficult and uncomfortable in many small and large ways. If she buys him out, even if she planned to then sell it and move herself afterwards, he would no longer have that power to be unpleasant and difficult every day- payback for "daring" to not want to stay with him and taking his children.
@@mommy2libras er he could then get the whole house
@@mommy2libras
The " power" or "head fcuk" (as I call it) can reach a long way & payback be doled out by associate's. A friend of mine who moved miles away had her dog poisoned, her mother robbed, her house broken into & spray painted ( every room), farm slurry dumped on her property & was stalked.
Long story short, she now lives an ocean away, (we) her friends have peace of mind.
With only half of the money for the house, he couldn't buy another - not enough money (housing is expensive in UK and the one that they shared looks quite modest - it may have been mostly mortgage - even less money on the buyout). I think it was about the fact that she was kicking him out, keeping the house, had a great new job, while he was going to have to go back to renting, no house, no relationship, just a sad sack all on his own while her life seemed to be getting better - didn't she also have a new relationship? He couldn't stand her "winning" at his expense.
It probably had nothing to do with the house and more to do with her wanting to take his kids. We know that when they went their separate ways the first time, he acted to get the kids with him.
He also knew that she has no qualms about having kids with a man and then jumping on dating apps to grab herself a replacement and taking the kids with her.
Your documentaries are so well done! Thank you!
Forget parole if they give up locations of their victims. Instead take them from the death penalty, to life!
We've allowed criminals to hold the cards; it's not right!
Justice needs the upper hand, as do the victims and their loved ones!
This is Britain...no death penalty. Their cops can't even defend themselves - have no guns. It's ridiculous...being a cop there is suicidal.
@@dragonight57 Oooh Right! I forgot! It's a very sad situation there. For other reasons, here in the US as well! Even when criminals are charged with violent crimes, there's a good chance they will be released by too liberal judges, or not charged at all by corrupt DAs!

@@shilde Amen!
Too many criminal coddlers in society today. They believe if you release them over and over they won’t keep offending.
You do realize that when someone is sentenced to “life” in prison it means an average time served of 15 to 20 years? It Does Not Mean their natural life.
They will get an opportunity at parole. “Life in prison” is a sick twisted joke.
Look up Kenneth McDuff for the state of our “justice system”. Sick.
I remember this case when I heard the 999 call. It's just so sad and tragic. Her son and new bf was trying to contact her and the monster made it so difficult for them to even spend time with their half siblings.
He's such a prick and a jealous a** to not want her to move on. I think I saw this case on Crimes that shook the UK.
Those shows were my binge shows outside US crime shows along with Australia and Canada crime docs.
This was a completely predictable story. A small, weak, petty man kills the woman who left him and whose life got immediately better following the breakup. Shocker!
He's also rocking the "evil baby" look which is a bold choice. Makes you wonder if he'd be just as ugly with hair as he is with the Humpty Dumpty dome. Also, like with all UK sentences, what a joke. We'll let him out when he's 66... why? Probably because the state is too cheap to keep him locked up. "Justice at any cost... well not 'any' cost."
And was taking his kids with her. If you're going to have kids with men, then jump on dating apps to flippantly move onto your next man, taking their kids with you. It can be very upsetting for those said men.
@@michaelj611 I’m a woman and I agree with you. Plus, she made another bad decision to continue to live with man number 2, while she’s involved with man number 3? Wow, whatever she did, it’s not the victims fault she was murdered. The murderer is the one in the wrong.. you all sound like your blaming the victim! He’s not some innocent defenseless baby man. He’s an adult. Who because of his choices, has absolutely ruined HIS CHILDRENS LIVES! Another well done episode!! I hope one day her family is able to bring her home and finally lay her to rest the proper way.
For every year he doesnt reveal where the body is, they should give him another year extra prison time from the moment he is up for parole
That's a very good idea.
That could be a mandatory type law. Helen's Law in the UK, but i don't think we have anything like that in the States
I've been thinking that there should be _mandatory_ course work for certain types of inmates.
Everyone should be required to take a basic first aid & CPR course. - renewed every two years.
Everyone should have math literacy classes (at their appropriate levels)
They have to take a vocation course - even if they already have
one. Or they can choose a hobby & they have to complete a project. Burglars & thieves should have to take ... bookkeeping, typing/keyboarding and (i think) sborthand. I know it's "obsolete" but i think old skills should be maintained - in case of a grid failure or an apocalypse. Who knows what might be needed?
But i think DV convicts should have to complete an Anger Management Course, a basic psychology & sociology course, a women's study &/or literature class, a People of Color history &/or literature class.
There's a few others i think are appropriate - but you get the idea.
There sentencing would _include_ the finishing of their course work - there'd need to be a minimal GPA (say 3.0) to show they paid attention. But the sentence would be "X" amount of time *_PLUS_* the assigned course work. Release would be dependent on finishing _both_ parts - the date determined bt whichever came last.
For people who are wrongly convicted this would be an unwinnable nightmare.
@@seven471 Its a nightmare for everyone who is falsely imprisoned, thats a whole other argument

A man who can murder his partner or ex-partner is cold enough, but add to that a man who kills the mother of his children and you’ve found the cruelest, most evil of men. To deprive someone of their life is vile and repulsive but to deprive your own children of their mother and leave them to suffer without her, and in this case, without her body to properly bury and have a place to visit is unconscionable and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. This “man” should have been given life without parole for what he has taken away from the very ones he is supposed to protect from harm and suffering. Thank goodness he didn’t get away with Sarah’s murder and then given full custody of their children. Every child deserves better than that monster could offer them.

All I know is that I would never commit ANY crime, especially murder, in the UK.
They have an amazing slew of cameras EVERYWHERE. Most murders in the UK are solved or captured by the many cameras everywhere.
Don’t commit any crime anywhere !!!!
Here in New Zealand we had a young girl visiting from Britain who was murdered by her tinder date. They had their date in Auckland central city plus their hotels were there. Because of that, the bastard was caught quite easily, because Auckland city centre is covered all over with cameras. I don’t understand why more countries don’t use better CCTV, especially America. America is usually like “have you seen this person?!” and it’s a screen shot of their CCTV of exactly 3.5 pixels 🙄
@@sarahpowpow777 There is a notable difference between the UK/NZ and the US that might explain this phenomenon.
If they were everywhere they'd know where her body was. They don't even know what direction he took. The footage they do have is from home cameras and retail outlets. Last crime shows I've seen from other countries use those as evidence too. City centres are monitored for good reason.

Plus it cannot always be easy for the children envolved. Of course there is also violence in married couples and as in any case of violence, physical or emotional,a woman should leave IMMEDIATELY!!!!! It saddens me immensely to notice how there is so much more violence these days. Ladies,I repeat, choose your man wisely, your life is at stake.
When convicted of murder without a body, they should stay in solitary confinement until they tell where the remains can be found. It's the least these mongrels can do. At least the family can have a burial. Let him rot in a cell without a TV or anything...UNTIL he has the decency to let her family say goodbye? Let him sit the the whole time until she is found.
There is so much evil in this world, absolutely no reason to murder anyone, if you don't get along with someone, leave,no one has a right to take someone's life. I really hope they find her so the family and poor children can have a little bit of closure.
They should offer a reward to fellow convicts where he's being held for any information leading to the recovery of the body.
Sarah's poor children, family and loved ones 😢 I really hope she is found soon and can then RIP 🙏 🕊 A wonderful person & mother torn from life too soon 💔
Great detailed episode on this poor unfortunate woman who was killed by this man. I hope that he in the future tells the family where her body is so that she could be laid to rest properly.
So I’ve been watching the videos and never subscribed so now I’m subscribed. Good job and I love your accent!!
Love how there’s pictures though-out video showing these beautiful souls
Anyone who refuses to reveal the location of a body should add another 10 years to their sentence. Consecutively! I have lost count of the many women that have finally escaped these demon men only to meet with them one more timbre…and be killed. This was a surprisingly long sentence for the UK.
I will never understand how anyone who kills another person deserves anything less than life in prison and in fact they deserve death. This guy should NEVER be let out, even if he decides to tell where her body is. He should not be allowed to use that as a bargaining tool. If you murder someone in cold blood then you've lost your chance to live among the rest of us, period.
That "Helen's Law" is a fine one!! It adds another, and continual level of pain and suffering for the victim's families when they are unable to lay their loved one to rest in a place of their choosing and a place to mark in stone their name as permanent memorial. Such a sad case and sadly predictable, given the circumstances of the relationship between the victim and her killer 😢 😔 😢
Very good. It was so clear n spokesperson was great.
what makes a story interesting for me to watch and listen depends on the narrator. This lady has a balance in tone and sound 😍
