I had the good fortune of talking to Michael Shanks at one of the comic cons, and something I'd always wondered was whose idea it was for him to start the first season of SG1 very much playing Dr Jackson as Spader did in the movie, so I asked whether it was something he wanted to do with the character, or if it was a direction. He said he wanted to give fans of the movie someone they would recognise, and then allow the character to grow throughout the show. Thought I'd share that little chestnut.

This Advent did do one good thing so far: it introduced me to Only Fools and Horses. I'm an American, so I've never heard of it, but I love Doctor Who, and for Dan to call it "The best British TV show that isn't Doctor Who" makes me want to try. I had always given that slot to Top Gear, or heard it given to Last of the Summer Wine.

That's not to mention how Woozle Goozle episodes are viewable on the official UA-cam channel for the show, and I'd imagine there are other way to watch it online, so there's a decent chance that any kid who gets this advent calendar would have only ever watched Woozle Goozle on a phone or tablet.

The lesson we all ca get from this - if you want something good, don't pay for the brand. Funny, as brands were originally a mark of quality, but nowadays it is "paying for a logo", while Chinese unbranded stuff has a reputation for low quality, yet it seems to be pretty decent in this case.

Most likely meant for little kids to buy themselves with their allowance. The more pricey ones are generally aimed at collectors and cost a lot more, but they're the real Barbie dolls with full articulation. But Barbie has changed a lot over the years, and a modern doll can't fit the clothes made for a doll 20 years ago, which is utterly stupid and fairly certain done deliberately to force parents to buy new clothes

For context, it's been compared to the Paw Patrol and Frozen calendars for craptitude, and yet IIRC those calendars were £12.99 each, meaning individually they were each HALF the price of OF&H. You could literally have a Frozen Paw Patrol crossover spectacular for the same price as one OF&H. That might be what puts OF&H above them in the rankings of worst ever advent calendars these two have had.

I wouldn't call it weird, a bit odd, sure, but "weird" is similar to "I didn't get it". They were strapped for money making that movie because Hollywood is scared of sci-fi and don't like anything that requires a lot of extras, but it was one of the last movies where Hollywood dared to do something that's a little "out there" and not just mindless entertainment. Since the millenium rolled over, especially with 9/11, they've been terrified of taking chances on slightly controversial scripts or anything that can't be easily done with CGI, and mostly stick to easily digestable plots and superhero BS.

¿Recuerdan a Lebron en pollo robot del diablo?, resulta que no había muerto, su sufrimiento eterno persiste y hoy se hace presente, pero por más que sea una abominación mecánica es mejor que lo que sea que salga del calendario de OFAH.

El asqueroso día 24 del calendario de V-Tech >>> Un desplegable del Joker o eso parece, realmente puede ser cualquier persona con lo ambiguo que los dibujaron.
Y Stuart consigue un juguete de ilusión óptica.
Round 2
Barbie sigue tecnología y le regala a Dan otro set de LaserScope, porque Barbie no se conformar con uno, igual y uno era el de la NES y otro el de la Sega si es que existe.
No dejan de llegar refuerzos en el calendario de Stuart y ahora han desplegado a Stryker del Mortal Kombat, aunque de están quedando sin armas, pero en mis tiempos solo teníamos dos palos y una piedra, y teníamos que compartir la piedra.
Bonus: Dan resuelve el fierrito rompiéndolo, pero no sé le cuestiona ya que no hay que tener lastima por los muertos, si no por los que compraron el calendario de OFAH.
Empate nuevamente, ahora con la promesa de que van a mandar al carajo el calendario de OFAH cuando todo ésto termine.
