Half the fun of being an outdoorsman is the search for the perfect rod, kayak, day pack, knife, ( fill in the blank).

🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏 keep watching me buying more bags. Good stuff and that is a nice pack. I like the sunglasses compartment on how big it is.👍🍻

Hey man thanks for all the bag reviews. I'm looking for a bag myself and you're saving me a lot of hassle. Just a suggestion for future backpack videos - if you used a top-down view of the bag on the table, it'd give us a better view of everything as you talk about each feature. I have an Osprey right now, but this Gregory is actually lookin pretty nice. I might have to give it a shot!

I will take that into consideration. However I will say that I do move a bit fast - if you have a question about this bag let me know and I can answer it. _ Thanks for watching.

Mine busted a hole clean through on the bottom in the main compartment on my first proper summit of the season. Greg is going to send me a patch material. If I decide buy it again (as I do quite like it), I might get the Citro36 instead. I also put a shock cord patterned across the front, which I've been making alot of use out of.

Nice bag, and even with the soft-lined eyeglass pocket, I'd still have them in a case mostly to ward-off being crushed, broken, etc. Prescription glasses aren't cheap. Do folks in California have a need (is it legal?) for a CCW pocket as part of their packs/bags?

I really liked your review - it highlights everything that's needed! Can I ask you a question? I'm searching for a daypack that can fit a laptop in it, so how do you think, this Gregory pack can securely fit a laptop in the water bladder pocket? I know that Osprey's backpacks that have a suspension system and water bladder pocket are not suitable for the laptops due to their shape. I find this Gregory pack just perfect for me but still want to ask you about the laptop. Thanks in advance!

So funny you should ask. I litterally just did that with this pack. The 17 screen fit easily and was secure in the hydration sleeve. I probably would suggest though looking at an actual pack that has those features when the time is right.

Do you have any recommendations? I hike 4/5x a week with a pack of dogs, I go for about 2hrs. I need a new backpack! There's so many choices. I carry a sweater, water, leashes, poop bags & treats, car keys & phone. I also do stuff with the kids too!

Looks like the simple plastic hook to secure the water bladder hose is missing so now that I need replacement for my Salvo 28 that has that simple feature, I'm sort of screwed. Not sure why they don't make that one anymore...

@@YankeeTankerOutdoors Yes...my Salvo needed repair, I send it to them, but they said unrepairable. No more Salvo 28, but Im getting some 30l version that looks comparable, so it appears like they are taking good care of customers.

My REI didnt have the Citro30 in stock so I ordered it from Greg and brought it into my REI to side by side it with the Zulu30. They are nearly identical. The Citro has the 2nd "main compartment" where your bladder goes in back. I always stuff less-accessed things in there, including my rain shell and rain pants. This takes away from the actual main compartment of the pack in comparison to the Zulu but I still feel like there is plenty of room in the Citro's main compartment. I also use the 2L Greg bladder in the Citro for shorter day hikes, which gives back even more room in the back-main compartment.
