I am an Osprey guy. My favorite models are the Stratos & Talon lines. I think the Stratos 34 would be the perfect daypack...but i wish it had the stretch mesh front pocket like the Talon’s have. Otherwise great day pack
I actually use my talon 22 more because of how clutch that stretch mesh pocket it.
I tried a mystery ranch scree 32 and it just felt like a giant bag of rocks hanging off my spine. the stratos by comparison felt amazing.
did you get the 2023 version? I am thinking about upgrading!

I can’t confirm. Some reason ospreys site keeps crashing.
I've used mine several times. But I never really appreciate the comfort from its back system until I tried another backpack from another brand. I love my Stratos eversince...really comfortable backsystem, very stable, hugging my back very nicely. Sometimes I forgot that I'm carrying a backpack while hiking, because it's so comfortable to my back. Additional note: I sold my manta 34, I just don't like it.
I use the manta 24 as my day pack and the manta 34 as my multi day pack. Sucks they came with water bladders that I had to pay for and I don’t use them. I’m a water bottle guy. I really, really like that back panel stuff pocket. Can’t go wrong with any Osprey products imo due to excellent customer service.

Still have that bladder? I’m looking to put together a budget rig for my 5 sons. We adopted our two youngest and try to be super frugal. Interested in selling the bladder?
The padding on the waist belt does look nice. I like the storage area for a rain jacket or poncho. You should of got the 50l so you could bugout from California soon.🤣👏 Just kidding! Nice pack and Osprey is the best.👍🍻

It’s just with that suspension system they all feel like less capacity.
Good review. I have the Hikelite 26 and feel it’s more like a 20L bag.

this bag is not in the size limit for a carry on in most airlines (22,14,9 inches)...
Did u manage to fly with it as a carry on in most airlines?

I have never ever had an issue flying with this bag either... Especially now in the time of covid.. planes are at half capacity -
Hello. Inside: you say it is small inside for a 34 Litre. Does it still fit gear like a 30 L though? Outside: Is it big for a 34 L. Is the airstripe more comfortable carrying wise, or is it just the swet it is good at getting rid of? Don't know if you still answer questions on these old videos.

Im torn whether to buy Stratos 34 or Stratos 36. I prefer panel loading compared to top on 36. Im going solo backpacking in Europe next year for 3-4 months, and I need a backpack that would fit into carry on flight. I'm a minimalist 5'9 170lbs guy, and i would bring few clothes with me. In terms of tech, I would probably bring 13' macbook pro because I do video editing, and travel book. I also will bring Fujiflm XT4 camera with 1 lens. Im going summer next year so I dont need too heavy/thick clothing. What do you think I should buy? Or any other backpack suggestion that you give me? Thanksss!
bigger for trips like that.. I would say smaller if you were going to actually backpack with it.

Why is it better than the manta. I’m trying to decide between them. Would be super helpful to know your thoughts
Personally I think the hip belt is 💯 times better on the Stratos. Also I am not a bladder guy so being that the Manta comes with a bladder is pointless for me.
Stratos also has better organization in my opinion.
