I love it that you let your kids do all the things. The fun stuff as well as the clean up. All aspects are so important. ❤
It warms my heart to see your boys being boys and not sitting with an electronic device or watching tv. When our son and daughter were their age we were stationed in the Fairbanks AK area. They and 5 or 6 of their neighbor friends decided to build a fort. It ended up being 6 rooms. They spent hours after school working on it over the winter. Lots of layers of clothes. Moon boots, hats, and gloves. And lots of hot chocolate and fresh out of the oven cookies. Making memories. They are in their 40’s now and still talk about it like it was yesterday. The temperatures ranged from negative 30-50. It was dry and we learned to adapt. Some of the best years of our life. Thank you so much for sharing your real life experiences with us! I anxiously await every Saturday morning to see your videos! Blessings from Ky!
What a wonderful story, and beautiful memories! Also from Ky.
Hi there! I’m in Midway. Hope you are staying warm. Changes coming this coming week….have your boat ready? 🥰
❤️❤️❤️❤️. We used to make tunnels and a little den in the snow drifts when we were kids, too. Such good times!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us. And I agree. Seeing kids be kids without electronic devises, is awesome.
@@DebbieBiddle-kn3cb what a beautiful story!! Debbie and Thedirtpricess3293 I'm also from Ky! Currently in Shelby county, moving to Casey county soon!! Nice to "meet" you both!!
Those kids are having a great childhood...and you, Ruthann are an amazing mother.
I am 75 an a wonderful memory was when our cousin's came down Ohio to new Orleans. We each got a can of play dough.
It was the best summer.
God bless
Ruthann you are an amazing mom and a beautiful woman of God. I adore watching you with your children as much as being a homemaker. You are loved❤.
Maxwell is a gentle soul.
Yes very!!!
Schooling at its finest! Hands on activities, directions, cleanup and teamwork! Good job mom.😊
They are so cute. I love hearing them talk. What could be more fun than Play-dough? Making your own Play -dough would make it more fun (while learning at the same time).
Those boys think they're playing but they are learning to cook, follow directions, bake & build and so much more!
Love your family! See you next week!
Stay safe and warm
God is indeed good! I love how cooperative and creative your family is! Seeing your boys playing so well together and hearing your daughter playing the piano gives me great joy! You must feel so blessed to know that your children are learning such wonderful skills from you! Prayers for you and your family to feel warmth through this Winter season!
What fun memories this brings back! I have five beautiful adopted children of many different races. To get dinner prepared or do baking, I would line them up and they were chef 1, chef 2, chef 3, etc. They would take their turn in line, and measure and put in ingredients. I couldn’t believe how much they loved that. They learn so much by helping.
Your boys are playing like kids used to play. I love it! You are a wonderful mother. God bless you all.
Doctor one and Doctor two, oh my goodness so cute! Cutest playdoh makers ever. They had just as much fun making it as they did playing with it later and learned so much. Stay warm and safe from one cold winter friend to another. 💗
“Cauliflower” had me laughing out loud. Your children are precious as I’m sure you know. Thank you for sharing them.
OH MY GOSH!!! Frozen bubbles is the BEST activity EVER!!! What a wonderful experience!!❤
Brrr. Those boys are so full of fun and energy. Cold weather is not going to stop them. It is so good to see young ones having fun.
I was overwhelmed by the amount of dishes however, my anxiety decreased when I watched them clean up themselves and the joy and pride on their faces.
Oh my goodness! Kendrick’s little gag smelling the play dough 😂😂 and Maxwell pretending to eat the food. Lots of family fun and memories! Helping mom up to the top was precious and the slide was super cool!
I just love this! It was a treat to have Maxwell in the video for a bit! My boys are now 40 and 36, so this brings back welcome memories. Love and hugs
It's wonderful to see kids playing and not glued to the TV or video games.
I smiled so much during this video. Those boys are so sweet. As a retired teacher, I love seeing kids learn.
Thank you so much for including us! That winter extravaganza was so much fun!
This was my mom trying to keep us busy for our childhood! 7 kids!
Brrrr, brings back lots of memories raising my boys in Wisconsin. Good times. Thanks
Excellent in many ways. Thank you for sharing this precious video. I know that it wasn't an easy to record all of the process from beginning to end. It takes patience to have children make anything from scratch; but, to video it takes a patient person. Dr. One and Dr. Two did an excellent job following instructions; I know exactly how to make play dough. The whole thing was totally entertaining! You are the sweetest Mom. David and Lee
Thank you for your kind words!!!
I was just thinking.. Green Eggs and Ham and the.Boys said it!! What a great day to make play dough!! They will be wonderful and knowledgeable men and their wives will thank you!!! I was an elementary teacher for 28 years and highly approve all of the learning and fun taking place!!❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💜💜💜
Bless your heart for taking the time and helping them make play dough. I know the patience it takes doing projects like that with kids and just letting them make a mess. You have sweet little boys.
You are absolutely the most patient mom. Love seeing your boys playing together with all your neat ideas. I have never seen a playdough you fry!!!
It's a blessing to be able to watch young children exercising their imaginations. Really enjoy how Dr. One and Dr. Two are collaborating on their science projects. ❤
I remember making memories with my boys when they were little.
I admire your patience, your children’s imagination, and allowing them to enjoy the outdoors with limit’s during the winter time.
Awesome job making wonderful memories in spite of this frigid weather! Please tell the boys great job with the snow mountain and tunnel!
So much fun to watch the scientists make play dough. I have a funny story to share. I used to make 5 gallon buckets of playdogh mix. (just the dry part) my recipe included alum and cornstarch along with the salt and flour. One day I was sick and my husband decided to make waffles, well he dipped out of the play dough bucket instead of the flour one. The children came in and told me the waffles were really bad, and I told them to eat them anyway and don't complain, but they came back and said they just couldn't so I went and checked the buckets and sure enough he had used the play dough mix. The waffles were renamed awfuls . I'm a Great Grandmother now and we still laugh over this.
Love this! Boys are so much fun!!! Their imaginations remind me so much of our boys when they were little. No technology to take over and they really knew how to play!!!
What fun & thank you for letting Maxwell join in, his face almost broke my heart! 😢 He’s such a sweet, kind soul ❤
I think you mean Maxwell.
@@DebbieB-zy8zp Ugggg thanks, yup, you’re right, fixed it 🤦♀️
@@DebbieB-zy8zp Uggg, thanks, you’re right! 🤦♀️
I'm wondering if maybe initially he said he didn't want to play scientist. We all know that school kids love to tease sometimes, and perhaps he was afraid of what his friends would say about him making play dough. This is, of course, all speculation.
Mad scientists at work. Your kids will remember these times forever.
I well remember the major operation of making play do, great fun for little ones, they soon learnt that it really wasn’t very nice to eat. Thank you for your time in making these videos so that we can have an insight to your world, albeit a cold one.
I loved watching this video with Doctor one and Doctor two.
I absolutely loved how Kendrick came to help you up the snow that warmed my heart. You are one Blessed family.
Drs. One and Two are very cute! They are having fun and learning measurements too. And yes, science. 😇
Wow- I don't know where I have been, but Kendrick really hit a growth spurt! I have never come across a play-doh recipe that needed to be cooked before! Always something new to teach this old bird on your channel. The boys also got the chance to brush up on fractions ;)
I watched and I have to say those two little scientists are the coolest, sweetest, and most adorable scientists ever! That igloo was magnificent and with a slide??? Wow! How talented and hard workers they all were! The playdough looked like fun and turned out great. What a beautiful family!!!
As a camp teacher we made our own Play-Doh. Since cream of tartar is expensive, we made ours without it. We also didn't cook it. We used warm tap water. Kept it at room temperature in ziplock bags. We probably made a batch a week. Never received any complaints. Your mad scientists' next experiments might be one make a batch with and one without cream of tarter. Let it rest in the ziplocks as they clean up and then see if they like the texture without cooking.
Wonderful memories and great fun. How precious is it how Kendrick holds your hand helping his mom up the snow hill. And the 2 boys Harrison & Kendrick enjoying making homemade play dough together. Oh how each of your children bless my heart. ❤️
This brought back so many memories. Many years ago when my sons were Harrison and Kendrick's ages, we did the same thing. I had four boys and a big table like yours we used as a work space. The recipe I used was cooked in a saucepan on the stove and the result was a non-drying mixture. The recipe was similar yours except I think there was more oil. It stayed nice in cartons for a long time. You are such a good mom.
This looked like lots of fun! The boys probably don’t realize they are learning math and reading skills while they are playing scientists! I think my mother used a similar recipe for play dough when I was growing up, back in the “olden days!”
Well done on the snow slide young men! Thank You for sharing RuthAnn.
The cutest ever! Total joy to see the brothers interact with ❤️. Great family values mom.
I don't have any kids but these two are just comical and your so patient with them. Id be so frustrated trying to do this! HAHAHAHA
When I saw you I always thought were a teenager, but then you said you had a daughter getting married. I learnt so much about you. I started to subscribe. I Am So blessed about your. Can you give us a simple recipe to make bread.??❤
This is such a wonderful video!! I love that the boys see the play dough making and clean up as part of the same process and have fun together with the clean up as well. Beautiful job!!
Your children are amazing! Good clean fun! Love their introductions. Stay warm.❤
Oh this was so fun watching young scientists develop their skills, playing and working!!! Being the pest I am, when you reached around to tie their aprons I would have taken advantage of the opportunity to tickle them while their hands were busy…heehee !
What a beautiful fun winter day at home…..you are a wonderful mother ❤
Blessings
Doctor 1 and Doctor 2 your creations were fabulous and your work was very thorough! I love that you not only created something great, but you cleaned up your work area and tools. :) Great work!
Absolutely adorable! I'm remembering the fun times of past when i had a home daycare and we made play doh. We added unsweetened Kool aid for the colors and it scented it too. Those were the days! You're a lovely lady and an amazing mom! 🌨️❄️😀🧑🍳
Hello Dr 1 and 2…How are you? You did a great job on the play dough and the snow tunnel! Keep making those great brotherhood memories!
Starting to call them by each other’s names reminds me so much of when my kids were small. They always said I was calling the roll. What a wonderful mother you are! God’s blessings on you and your family!
Have you ever taken a cup of warm water outside and thrown it up into the frigid air? It makes the coolest designs as it freezes and comes down.
I was a Preschool teacher for 16+ years. I made no cook Play-Doh with my kids. You can add different essential oils to each color. Cinnamon was always added to the brown, so I put less flour in it. If kept in plastic containers it last for a long time. I enjoyed watching your boys making and playing with it. Brought back a lot of fun memories. 💜
We lived in Houston but we lived like we was on the farm. If we didn't bring home stuff from country, were my Grandmother grew stuff. We went to the farmers market and my mother taught us to can. She also made us homemade play do but it was a salt recipe. We played all day with it then my mom would dry our creations in the oven. What fun it was to grow up like that. Ive even been canning this year for our food bank gives us cases of fruits and vegetables. 🍎🍓🥑🍅🥕🌶🥬🧄🍗 its been fun. I live in Housing and i also grow a few things like 🍅🌶🫑 and this year trying to grow potatoes in huge pots🤞
You are a brave woman! Lol! What a mom! 🩷 Those are some blessed little boys!
Thank you for sharing snipets of your world with us. I see an enriched full life in the way your children engage with each other and their surroundings. Great job mama and papa ❤
As a teacher I love this, reading and activity all in one go and the kids love it and don't realise that they are learning. Well done with your patience and encouragement. Great fun!!
There is no bad weather, there is only bad clothes 😉 lovely video❤
Loving seeing those fine motor skills growing!
Such a great day for them to be creative and having fun ! 👍💕🏡😊❄️
I get so much joy out of watching those little guys! (boy mom!) I'd love to hear the story of how those three came to your family!
Such a wonderful day!! I LOVED hearing them read the recipe!! So cute and great reading practice!! These are the sweetest videos! Thanks for sharing your family!!
Your children are so much fun to watch.Kendrick is getting so tall.
Great job Dr. One and Dr. Two!!
A very delightful video Ruthann, thank you for sharing your boys with us 😊
The boys certainly had a fun snow day! It was a cute confusion Kendrick made to think cauliflower instead of cream of tartar! I had to chuckle.
I remember making play dough for my children when they were young. Homeschooling was the hardest 20yrs but I would do all over just for that time together again ❤
Your boys are so cute. They have a big imagination's. I have a huge smile on my face just watching. Thank you for sharing.
Watching you with your children is such a blessing and warms my heart. You are such an awesome Mom
Great to have young scientists!
Thank you Dr. 1 and Dr. 2 !! That was a great learning video ! So much fun ! 🙂
They play so sweet together
I give you a lot of credit to let the boys make their play dough.
We used to do this all of the time when my kids were little…now we’ve doing the same with our grandkids 😊
Fascinating to watch the bubble water turning to ice. Never seen it THAT cold in the UK (thankfully! The cold is absolutely not my favourite thing.)
The frozen bubbles were so fun- this videos was perfect for such a cold day!
Those two boys are always a hoot to watch. They will be best friends forever. How did you get so lucky with that match?
What a wonderful day! Tell the boys great job with the Play-Doh! I actually laughed out loud when I saw them sled through the tunnel! So good to see them being creative and having so much fun playing together! They are a joy to watch and each one so very handsome!
What a wonderful video! You're such a good, good Mom, and an inspiration to this Grandma! Thank you Ruth Ann!❤
I loved this! Keeping this in reserve for the grandkids.
Homemade ice cream recipe… a big bowl of snow and added one can of sweetened condensed milk mixed. You can added vanilla extract little. Yum
You’re such a good mom
I just love your videos, recipes and life on the farm. It is so enjoyable being able to see your life style. It's been very cold here in Montana too. I personally can't wait for spring and gardening!
RUTHANN I really enjoy your videos. The children are growing up so fast.❤
Active, healthy, happy boys! Warms my heart
What a great memory for these precious boys!💙💙Regina
❤omw It is cold where you live. In my 63 years we have never had such cold weather in South Africa. I have seen snow a few times in my life but that's it
