New subscriber here and a fellow Wildtrak driver, albeit mine is a PX1. These tracks in the high country are in my backyard but with so many tracks, I am yet to drive them all. It's great to see a similarly setup Ranger getting to some of the places I have yet to get to see. Looks like I need to find myself an understanding co-pilot to capture some of my drives and run the drone :-)

Hey mate, stumbled across the vid, if you didn't get to walk to the waterfall next time going to Lake cobbler after the little puddle crossing before the campground is a camp-site to your right, behind that is the track to the waterfall. Great walk, pretty quick, spectacular creek..... hope you get to see it.

Great video - new sub here 👍. Thinking about heading there soon myself but pulling a trailer so will need to choose those tracks carefully I guess. Nice drone footage too - keep it up 👍

Thanks for the subscription! Really appreciate it! Towing a trailer is tough in the High Country; I own one myself but mostly opt to leave it behind. Crazy gradients just make it more effort then it’s worth! However, if you can find a nice spot to set up and travel from its definitely a bonus! Enjoy your trip’

Just found your channel, awesome very down to earth, great footage. Can you tell us more about driving your ranger. Don’t know much about auto’s off road. Following now for sure.

Hey mate, thanks for the follow! I’ve had my Ranger for 2.5 years and have done a lot of off-roading in a short period of time. I’ve been really happy with how it goes off road, has enough power, a standard rear E locker and has lots of accessories available. It’s always made it home, I really haven’t had any issues. I would highly recommend them to others, I’ve driven some up duel cab utes and I’m pretty happy with how it stacks up! Hope that was helpful!

Great video mate. Been looking at a very similar trip. Any advice on tracks to use?

Hey mate, thanks for the support to the channel! Lake Cobbler track is a great track, same with top crossing. Not sure whereabouts / how long your doing in the high country, but I've always found MT Terrible / Donald Track for a quick weekender. My favourites would have to be Billy Goats Bluff, the Crooked River Track, and Blue Rag. The Wonangatta Valley Track is also a lot of fun with quite a few good river crossings, which also is close to Wombat Track which I remember being the steepest track that I ever drove. Rhonda Track near Lake Eildon is pretty steep and a lot of fun!

Could you get close to the river at that top crossing camp ground ? And could you hear it ?

Hey mate, camped about 20 meters from the river and could hear it all night! Wicked spot to camp!

Lovely tour. Was ur bull bar and other accessories factory fitted. I am thinking of getting a ranger. I am not sure if I need to get them factory fitted or get it done extrenally.

Hey mate, everything was done externally by ARB, TJM and Ironman 4x4. I haven’t branched out from those companies
