Glass tracks are mrant for lifted 4x4s. Dont take your stock family wagon on these tracks. Good chance you'll bend sidesteps and damage panels. Also, dont go alone. Unforgiving and not a place you want to be stuck when light is fading alone. There are some not nice people at night in that area who might try and rob you and or steal your vehicle. Be very careful out there.

You’re reviewing the updated Flinders tent which has different air vents and window flap edges to the original. I had a Flinders for two years, a version one and version two. Both replaced due to excessive leaking in rainstorms. It was fine for an hour or so but eventually started to leak badly through the skylight area and where the elastic attaches to aid closing. ARB replaced it with a Simpson 3, saying something along the line of a semi recall. The Simpson3 doesn’t leak but has a number of huge disadvantages over the Flinders. I really loved the flinders for all the points you list. But, I like to sleep dry.

They call them the Flagestone tracks, I frequent there quite a bit in my Patrol, sometimes it's just myself and my partner that go, sometimes we take the family out with us too You just put in your GPS the richard wilson park, and across from there is the dirt road that leads to the tracks

Hey mate, question about Sundown. Would you say that is doable without a lift? I know you mentioned 2 tracks

Would you do any of this solo with just a compressor? Or too risky?

I think they ran a dozer through beacon track not long after you guys did it. We went in August and the only real challenge was that it was steep. I'm sure it'll be back to normal after a few summers of rain though (Branch creek road is still the same)

I just received my swag. I have to say the whole situation has been dicey so far. When i received it, the bag it came in was wide open. And all the stuff almost fell out. I set up the swag and it seems fine but the matress does not hold air. After about 20 minutes it is about half deflated. Communicating with San Hima USA has also not been great. You will never get through on the phone. I have called at least 5 times during normal business hour's and have only gotten an out going message. Left message twice and never received a call back. They did answer my first email a day later but have not heard back from second email. I will give them an opportunity to make good but I have to admit I have been disappointed by the whole thing so far.

If you had the ends staked out pulling the ends outward then the center of the cross beam would withstand considerably more weight without folding in on itself.

There is a track to the bottom, it starts at the right hand side camping area and heads down the spur then zig zags its way down to the bottom.

It still mind blows me people think setup time under 5mins is too much effort i know even after a long drive. I find it rewarding and I think that time is more than reasonable. Each to their own i guess & given the situation. I personally love swags because a good one is like a bomb shelter. I am looking to upgrade from my Darche dirty dee its been fantastic to the Darche nebula + Because i plan to take 2 dogs with me. i have seen the original Darche nebula in a showroom and that was great for space video and photos don't do it justice. However I cannot find the Darche nebula + with that extra extension to view physically I also saw it does not come with a fly like the original Nebula nor is one sold for it specifically so I'm abit lost as I am worried about ventilation during rain and how the windows covers don't come down as far. Any help. Ps great video*

Just for reference if you ever split a boot again just use some flat plastic shopping bag or similar. Rap it around the CV boot so it boubles on it self. Then tape it up with duck tape or similar it will make it dust and water proof for the day or longer. Great way to get out of trouble and still enjoy your day.
