The fact that even a pro still needs to hide and even at times wait in order to not die in this game makes me even more impressed with how well-weighted the combat is.

@@ShrimpCup Hell the gameplay isn't even that special or anything, its just crouch, use cover, prone, dodge, have multiple animations going at the same time. For me, fromsoft games have the best gameplay and combat systems and they are much more thrilling than any tlou 2 encounter. If someone wants to argue with me then go play sekiro and come back to me, unless its too hard for you or you just hate good stories, seeing as most of the idiot supporters of tlou 2 seem to be like.

@@SuperGammaGamerYT I platinumed all of the Fromsoft games and the TLoU series… both are pretty basic, but TLoU is way more fun and engaging. Just accept that there are opinions and it’ll be ok. Part 2’s my favorite game of all time and I say that as a lover of Fromsoft, MGS, Splinter Cell, Resident Evil.
This is perhaps the most impressive display of aggressive prowess I've seen from a player of this particular game. Incredible and surgical, your skills and tactics.
My favorite part is when you were "dancing" with up to 3 infected and dodging every.single.attack. That was god-level. I really enjoyed watching this.
Not survivor mode. They don't allow that kind of dancing in survivor mode, each queuing up ready to get their taste of death. They come at you at once.

The best gameplay I’ve seen in this game. You never got hit or shot. Also noticed you didn’t use listen mode either. Very impressive!
Well he or she has played this before therefore knows where the enemies are ahead of time and how they move.
The whistling for the seraphites is such a cool idea. Them being able to communicate with each other without you being able to know what their saying thus preparing a counter attack. Also the Stalkers where always the toughest type of Infected to me because they could creep up on me from behind and surprise attack me. Also I didn’t know you could use a brick as a melee weapon.
The brick is also stronger than the bottle but only for Abby, you can melee kill a clicker but hitting it with a brick and then following up with a regular attack you can do this with just fists but you have to attack hit them with the brick not throw it and if you do this with a bottle it won't kill them.

they probably just copied the whistling from Negan's gang in TWD. I found the shotgun easily disposed of stalkers. As long as you have full ammo there's no need to even hide from them.
This game is really a masterpiece! In my play through I never shot below the waste so it was amazing to see how effective shooting in the leg was! Makes me want to go back and play a super aggressive game

The devs for this game really did a great job. All the little details make this game stand out. One example: after physical exertion there isn’t t just increased respiration rate but truly labored breathing like when you are gassed. Whoever was in charge of sound and physiology mechanics was spot on.

One of my favourite parts is 4:09 when you dived down through the hole and shot the stalker in the leg while prone was pretty cool and second was the scar encounter where you set traps where you knew they’ll come in at was pretty strategic

I usually kill all enemies with the bow and recollect the arrows with each head shot. I must have played this game over 600 hours already. I can't stop playing it even after every other game I have beaten I always come back to this one.

I don’t know why I couldn’t get into these games when they released but now I’m in love with them. I even ran through that island one. I hope they keep putting out games like this. Probably he uses it, just not from the game, monitors (most of them, gaming ones) have the option to activate a reticle from the monitor itself which wont appear on the footage but u still have a cross right in the middle of the screen. Not denying his capabilities, very good gameplay.

Crazy to think it’s already been more than 3 years since this gem came out and it’s still a more holistically impressive spectacle (combination of visuals, animations, sound design, gameplay fluidity) than anything to come out yet on the current gen consoles.

NaughtyDog Characters tend to look the best. I would say because of mo-cap, but I think every studio and game does mo-cap. In any case, I agree their graphics/characters are the best. I keep referencing Spider Man 2 because its the latest game ive played, but i was expecting it to be the best looking game of the console generation and....it wasnt. Still felt cartoony. Amazing game to be sure but graphically not this
@@solidsnake7167 Spider-Man has a certain graphical style, Insomniac doesn't just go for max realism. Horizon Forbidden West is probably the best looking game ever. I think TLOU2 would've been the best if it was made for PS5 instead of PS4.

As divisive as the pre-launch leaks and story were, this game was and still is absolutely beautiful. The fight mechanics and gun physics are palpable, and a master class at what story driven single player games should be like. I only managed two full play throughs, but your fight timing, map awareness, and weapon precision is absolutely outstanding, 1000 hours well spent! 🤙🏾👍🏽👍🏾

It'd be cool if there was some kind of enemy camp game mode, to focus on just the combat. Or some kind of creative mode where people can share levels/camps/arenas for you to download and fight in
On the ps5 version of the game there’s something similar to that.. but you can’t create levels or anything.. it’s just a few types of encounters.. but there are bosses encounters too..

Anyway, I vehemently disagree with almost everything you wrote. The Last of Us part II was, and continues to be, a bona fide masterpiece…which is exceedingly rare in modern gaming. The story, the game play, the game mechanics, the insane graphics, etc, all exceptionally guided with love from the talented Mr. Druckmann.
I’m sorry that after all this time, you still haven’t gotten over the fact that our beloved Joel dies. Let’s be real, that’s what this is about. That’s what it’s always been about. You can’t handle that Joel died, or that Abby, a cis female, has bigger muscles than you. *gasp*

The combat is just so naturalistic in TLOU2 (and I assume the TLOU1 remake). Everything feels real.

When I was close to finishing this game, I knew that it would be very difficult for me to find something this good,I wish it would last 500 hours.
Hoping for the directors cut. Actually Naughty Dog wanted to have five days for both characters plus some other things, but it apparently got too big so they cut it down to four. You probably know this, but I would be cool with a director's cut 👍🏻
I spent ~3000 hours on both parts of this game. Good thing is there is literally nothing left to look for in either one so I can move on to Resident Evil.=)

@@hogan4670 Actually this game got 3 years now since he got released, so 3000 hours are ok, I played this game so many times too because has a pretty good gameplay and a well plot in my opinion
