How To Survive a Venomous Snake Bite (3D Animation)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 гру 2022
- First thing to keep in mind after a snake bite is to remain calm, panicking can increase blood flow and heart rate, which will accelerate the absorption of venom. To prevent swelling, take off any clothing that might enclose the bite area. Keep the bitten extremity elevated above heart level. In order to prevent the venom from spreading further, you must also keep the affected extremity very still. Clean the bite area with water to remove any dirt that has become lodged in the wound. Be careful not to get any of the venom that is near the bite into any open wounds. Call 911 immediately after. Monitor your breathing and heart rate as you wait for medical attention. #animation #snakebite #shorts #health #anatomy

I'm telling you right now... If you get bit by a snake the last thing you are going to do is "remain calm."
We can try to not panic.
And pray to God
Exactly 😂we’re humans
I think I'm calm enough, I punch a glass door then it's start bleeding like fountain but I'm calm enough and stop the bleeding on time.
God bless you.
first thing to do after snake bite is to delete chrome search history

🤣🤣👍
🤬 that wasnt funny...i was bitten by snake and i searched up this video

Also you should do something like take pictures of the snake so that doctors can identify the snake species and provide appropriate anti-venom as quickly as possiq.
edit: Lol taking picture is just an example. Do something that helps specialists give you correct treatment, just remembering patterns or colors of the snake is already helpful. Also if the snake is non-venomous you don't want anti-venom prescribed so anything that helps specialists identify the culprit is better than nothing. But they can usually identify or narrow down the biter by biting marks or other clues so it won't be the end of the world if you couldn't help with anything.
After bitting you, you think the snake just gonna chill next to you like “I’ll wait bro, take your phone out”
Thanks u for this comment dont mind All theses nonsense motivators, may be u should always carry ur network mass around so u will find network in the bush or desert to make calls for ur doctor
Thats not true. They dont need that anymore.
I don't know in other countries but in my country, they give polyvalent antitoxin which works against all types of snakes. So it's not necessary to click the picture.
Wish if I can kill the snake, but he says do not get exciting because the venom will move faster in the blood flow. Lucky bitch!!!

Snakes don’t usually bite more than once
I believe you meant below heart level! Please update this video, as it can have serious health implications.
Overall very nice animation though
I was also wondering
Should be below heart level. I might be wrong but I think when it is below the venom goes slowly ti heart.
Yha i thought that too... Probably should get this comment pinned
Positioning of the extremity below or at the level of the heart should be individualized-for snakebites with severe and potentially fatal systemic toxicity, systemic toxicity might be delayed by positioning the extremity below the heart, while for snakebites with severe local tissue damage and less systemic toxicity, from a paper online.
If it's venemous.
But if it's non venomous snake and there's severe hemorrhaging from the bite, you would want to elivate it above heart level to slow down bleeding.
When a snake bites you, you also bite back. If you die it dies too.
I don't know if I could remain calm, knowing the venom could kill me.
Must stay calm if you want to live. Don't leave this world with regrets.
Keeping the affected limb above heart level will enhance rapid spread of Venom.
Yeah i was confused by that as well
I think they meat the other way round, but a mistake while narrating

Also, isn't it necessary to have a tourniquet ABOVE the bite?
Make it hard to get help if ur layin on ur back
best solution - you see a snake, just take its life.
Yep!✅💯 Chop his head OFF!!!
Trying to kill a snake means you are a threat to it. It will thus defend itself and you could be bitten several times (e.g. Black Mamba).
"911 what's your emergency"
"I've been bitten by a snake!"
"Okay remain calm"

In my native society, one ties above the bitten area very tightly and seek medication, and it has been working 🇰🇪

First thing to do don't get bite by a snake
Here in Australia, washing the bite area isn't recommended at all. As the medics do a swab test from the bite site to determine exact snake type and use the relevant anti venom. Also various snake bites require different first aid.you don't do a pressure bandage always
That’s good info. Thank you!
In Australia, I believe that all of your venomous snakes are neurotoxic, so a pressure bandage at 50 to 70 mmHg should be applied. In South Africa we have cytotoxic, neurotoxic and haemotoxic snakes.
I was once bitten by a s nake when I was 13 y old. Out of rage, I chase the snake and manage to grab its tail. Then i slapped its head in every tree nearby until its head burst open and its eyes popped out. Following my elders teachings, I immediately looked for grass that was often eaten by a goat and chewed it, swallowed the extract of those grasses and put some on the bitten parts of my foot.
Now I am still well and kicking.
BTW i am a Filipino and I share this experience, maybe it can help you in a direst situation. God Bless Everyone

@@mamabiriteraGlaiza diko alam sa tagalogaddam,
Basta samin tawag dun banggaat
@@yellowdayz1800 put some grass juice also, it was my grand parents taught me that. They said goat is very persistent in any kind of venom, because of those grass that they ate, it produced some chemicals that avoid them from being fatal after being bitten by some venomous animals. That's what they said.
One more thing, never try to suck out venom from the wound, it barely gets any venom out and can also cause infection if you have a small would or cut inside your mouth.
The video is helpful. I'm hoping it will work when I'm bitten by a snake.
Contrary to popular opinion doctors suggest not to use a tourniquet. It'll not only reduce blood flow to the affected limb but also aid the spread of the toxin if done improperly. The key is to keep the affected area still and to stay as calm as possible. Taking a picture or taking the deceased snake will be helpful to identify the type of toxin but not a necessity. Most antivenoms have broad coverage and are a cocktail antidote kind. Hope this helps.
Tying a tourniquet does more local damage to the limb.. sometimes the entire limb has to be amputated
@Nasser read my comment again
Thanks UA-cam for showing me at 1 am now i can peacefully sleep after checking my whole room 😄👍
you must tie the area above the biten part to avoid venom spreading and if possible let the blood out of the biten area
I don't think that works with necrotoxin (Snakes like Rattlesnake and Vipers use this) because that would just trap all of it below the bitten part. This would allow the venom to concentrate and eat away at all the tissue there. I would still have to do more research about this to be completely sure.
It 100% works for neurotoxin and will keep someone alive for at least 20 minutes longer.
Google : how to stay calm when you get bite by a snake?
That’s the freakiest snake 3d model I’ve seen

i can verify, I had a similar experience when my cousin's little kitten hissed at me when I stepped on his little tale, the key is to remain calm!
Instantly I'm tearing my t-shirt Into a turniquet with a stick
Depends on the snake. In South Africa we only recommend it when there is a confirmed Black Mamba or Cape Cobra bite if you are > 90 minutes from hospital.
Best option…immediatly delete your browser history😂😂
And don't forget to switch on ur camera 📸 and be a cameraman 😂
Love how they say don’t panic when you get bite by a snake like that would be possible lol
Props to camera man for watching my dude get bit by a venomous snake, watched the venom spread and just stood there
Also, very important, look the coloration of the snake and the pattern, it makes it easier to find the antidote
So catch is don't move and take a video of snake.. later u may post on social media also 😄
"I'm pretty sure, I will be more calm knowing that I'm dying soon"
"I am taking that snake with me dude if not to doctor then the after life"
You do not mention lymphatic bandaging. In Australia snake bites are not rare and lymphatic bandaging immobilises the toxins in the limb
also you need to take selfies with the snake coz the snake has to share your photo with the vet to estimate its chances of survival.
His advice can be followed only if we are working with snakes all day.
And you always should apply a tourniquet!!!! It doesn't matter from what, a stick, your selfystick.. Whatever. Make it tight enough so the blood is blocked and gives you extra time. NOT longer than 10 minutes. - a vet student
I think that was what saved me when I got bitten by a green mamba some almost 40 years ago. I ran some three kilometers to reach humans and help. I think when the subconscious process of peristaltic function stopped and I couldn't swallow banana that I was given, not having had breakfast and it was lunch time, I knew the danger the running had put me in. But the tourniquet I tied just below the knee immediately after the bite must helped, probably in concert with the herbs I'd been given to chew by a notable herbalist, helped - believe, because the following morning I found the swelling proceeded from the bite spot (my right foot) right up to knee and stopped right there, while my leg kept jerking involuntarily every moment, apparently from the power of the poison. But I forgot to mention that I sang the praise of - being a Pentecostal then, through the ordeal and requested prayer from other faithful
@@christopheromekwe1791 what an incredible story! So glad to hear the tourniquet helped and you could even see the difference. What happend to your leg? Did you went to the hospital to get a drain? Or did it pass over time?
@@christopheromekwe1791 also I won't forget your story if something like that ever happens to me!

Remaining calm when you're bitten by a snake 😂😂😂😂
It's difficult for one to remain calm after a snake bit
Applying a tourniquet is always a good idea but you have to commit to it, remember, if the tourniquet doesn't hurt more than the wound itself then it's probably not tight enough
this isnt true.
snake venom spreads mostly by lymphatics, not hematogenous. you dont need a lot of pressure to occlude lymphatic flow.
tying it to the point of pain and numbness pretty much occludes arterial flow and will lead to limb ischemia. not to mention the venom will spread once you release the torniquet
monitor your heart rate*looks for heart moniter*
I love how in such videos the snake just dissappeares after a bite
no need to run from it XD
Ayo how in the hell can I stay calm.... After knowing that my one foot is already in grave
🤣🤣🤣😂u are right🤣🤣🤣
This is why I hike naked, so my snake is always ready for combat!
There's a easy way to survive snake bite for a long time that's total concentration breathing 😂
So your telling me that i shouldnt try not avenge that attack by ending that snakes life lol
How the hell do you tell your heart to remain calm?
Last thing you wanna do is to be calm.
Me after the snake bite: 🗿
Quick question. Since a tourniquet cuts off blood flow, would you be able to stop or decrease the spread of venom with a tourniquet?
tourniquet is kinda useless since the venom would already have spread, btw putting on an effective tourniquet is really painful
More like you might lose the limb if the torniquet is too tight
@@noice8674 This is a common misconception. Putting a tourniquet on isn't a death penalty for the limb. A limb can be if the person gets brought to a hospital within 4 hours after the incident. And there have been instances where a limb was saved far after that 4 hour mark.
"...is to remain calm and let that reality sink in"
Bro a snake just bit me and you’re telling me to remain calm
remain calm 🥱🤣 after a snake bite…
Ofc it keeps your heart beat down
"sabse pehle to aapko ghabrana nahi heh" - a wise man
What
Just catch the snake and Rush down to the hospital... Since it has bitten you, don't you ever let it escape...
no, dont
we have pretty good data on what snakes are available and theres polyvalent antivenom that can deal with it if the species is unknown.
attempting to capture it will agitate you and spread the venom and puts you at risk of repeat envenomation.
You should Immediately dial 911 and remain calm
First thing after a snake bite is to wonder why the hell you were in a place to get potentially bit in the first place.

Take the bile of the snake and rub(liquid) it at the snake bite area..this will neutralize the poison...that is how the native in borneo survives of poisonous snakes..
Sir, how am I supposed to get bile from a snake?
In Africa we are told to drink Palm Oil asap
And tie a cloth a few cms above the bite to prevent it from spreading
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think palm oil can buy some time to block the venom into ur heart
Not it Africa, in your country. Be specific
First step: Make sure you are several miles away from any type of snakes. Poisonous or non-poisonous. Especially on an airplane.
how can a snake bite you and you're still calm?
Eat onion and garlic as much as you can after any snake or scorpion or any poison attack. Take some honey with garlic and onion.
Oh we were just taught never to wash the wound. It will take longer for the hospital to identify what species of snake antivenin to use. Also to bandage not too tight from the lower extremities to the higher. Preferably with a stabiliser like a small branch to prevent any movement. Definitely don’t move around and don’t walk as that will increase circulation.

Yes honey..?

First step:
Avoid Australia!
I guess u meant keep the affected part below heart level.
Tip :- don't go near snake 😂

Remain calm after a snake bite? Is like saying you are about to die few minutes just stay calm.😂
How do you remain calm if a rattlesnake or a cobra bites you, you know you got minutes to live of your life.
Sure..also try to make a podcast with the snake for more info
Snake: *bites*
Me : "I don't give a damn, you son of a snake"🗿🚶♀️
When you get a snake bite, be calm. That doesn't sound real for me at all
The reason to remain calm is not none of those you remain calm so that you don't activate the venom.
Did I hear “keep the extremity elevated above heart level?”
I rewatched it, what the fuck. No, do not do that.
affected limbs must be elevated below heart level and not above heart level.
I heard if you tie up that area and chew some onions, it would help.
Keep calm bro
The thought of keeping calm would have made me panic.
Telling people to remain calm is ridiculous . It’s always the most
Ridiculous thing to hear
We all have ideas until a snake bites😂
Except for the remain calm part, you got most of that wrong.
Depends on the species of snake too, some venoms cause necrosis so you’d rather have it in your blood flow

It depends on the type of snake. You can survive a copperhead bite but it will sting like a mother. A rattlesnake on the other hand is quite different, their venom starts killing the skin and muscles.
I guess the first step is the most difficult thing to do
Snake: bites me so i have 5 minutes to live
Me: let the snake bite one more time so i have extra five minutes
