Cooper: “Man i love 70’s houses, they’re so cool i can’t stop admiring them!” Cooper, 2 minutes later: “Remember when houses had all this disgusting carpet and ugly ass paint? And look at that EYESORE of a fire place, man this place really sucks.” 10/10 XD
Cigarette smoke, and seventies funk, I swear I can smell it. I can hear the yells of angry mothers "Don't open that sliding glass door!", because it takes an hour to close it again. Mmm childhood memories. Outstanding job on this. 👍
I love the vibe of "I love/hate every part of this house". This is some of my favorite interior design. I always loved that shitty wood paneling and OMG THE BATHROOM DOOR HITTING THE TOWEL RACK I'm crying
I have fond childhood memories of many stays at my grandparents' mountain cabin during the '80s and '90s. It was built in the '70s and had a lot of the same characteristics - wood paneling, shag carpet, forced air - and yes, that distinct smell! The combination of that smell, mixed with the smell and feel of the mountain air (and the smell of peanuts for feeding the squirrels and jays)... man, do I miss it!
We didn't quite have that style in the UK, but the nasty colour schemes were there and the severe lack of plug sockets. My grandads house always had some car part in it that he was cleaning or repairing, though never an entire car.
I lived in a top floor apartment with a loft style second floor that was built in 1976. I lived there between 2015 and 2018. The interior was mostly original and this house you built gives me so many vibes of when I lived in that apartment. It had a high vaulted ceiling with a big dark wood beam that spanned across the entire ceiling and one of those huge sliding glass doors.
You did a marvelous job recreating a mid-seventies house. 😁 I would have hesitated to add the for sale sign. First Century21 might object if they ever find out. Second, somebody might actually try to buy it. (I heard that this is a thing now.)
It´s so fun seing the ford fairmont in the livingrom and kitchen where the first thing i did when i got into the world, to add i always like the 70s style
i live in a house from the 1970s, but we have done quite a bit of renovation. there was shag carpet, which was put on top of a perfectly good hardwood floor (why? idk) and the hallway had thin carpet with a design of blue and green octagons alternating. eww
Thank you for making places like the old mall and the 70s houses, they're a lot of fun to visit. I would love to see old furniture in the houses too, like those big wooden TVs that sat on the floor.
4:40 My Gram DID in fact have that laminate floor. In fact I think that is what's still in the house right now. The rest of that kitchen, however... that reminds me of the first house I lived in as a kid.
I don't have any idea who you are, but darlin' you have a very specific interest and skillset and gotta say, I'm into it. Bless folks like you who can share your skills with the rest of us hahah. Can't wait to visit this map later.
Yooooo me and a friend went there yesturday. xD I grew up in the 90s and a LOT of stuff from the 70s were still a part of my childhood. Gave me a lot of nostalgia. Thanks Cooper!
I've been looking for my old house's floorplans so I can make a VRChat world. I think it was a John Ford home from the 60s. I'll probably have to go look it up physically somewhere.
Needs a wood burning fireplace & some of the old furniture with paisley print or bright neon colors & it will be exactly as I remember a lot of those homes were like when I was younger.
My parents bought a 1978 modular home brand-new they still live in it Funny enough the stuff you’re talking about is not a joke we have wood paneling everywhere we don’t have popcorn ceilings but some weird type of paint all the ceilings and yes you’re correct about the outlets and carpet without going into the dining room/ kitchen And the bathroom has really bad wallpaper and gold trim everywhere At least they option for butcher block countertops for the time and yes we have those ceiling lights for the kitchen but ours just yellowed and quit working for some reason we don’t know why but yes They still have a green kitchen sink and a green KitchenAid stove hood And the bathroom fixtures including lights but yes looks very similar lol
*snort!* RICKELS! Oh god, STAHP! It’s was Rickels, then Caldors, mixed with KMart. I remember being a LITTLE kid when Rickels went away, but I was fascinated by the ceiling lamp aisle. The bar lamp with the stained glass and the, “brass”, chains.
My aunt's house, which was previously her younger sister's old house, had a similar lighting system in her kitchen. She got the entire paneling and wood trim removed and replaced it with LED floodlights, and she now has more headroom in the kitchen.
I lived in a 1970s house and i recognized some of the colors used. You forgot gold was huge in the seventies like the faucets and handles were gold. Also and pink was big too.
i just found your channel but ive subbed already cause this is cool. also i can conform my family still has our old fridge and i know the smell of the halls and the feel of the kitchen floor
Heyo, it's just me. I really liked this video, but trust me when I say I'm much more interested in your voice and what you have to say than the totally epic music track you got in this. Loved this video!
The pain of the 70s home colors, I remember them. I can’t stand the popcorn ceiling, something happens in one little spot and you have to scrape all of it off the ceiling, I started once and just ripped it all down and just put up plain painted drywall.
The HARVEST GOLD XD I want to be buried in that fridge good lords. Also, I can Feeeeeel the laminate under my sock-clad toes, it's gross and I love it XD
before i moved to an apartment my home had that exact same guest bathroom but in pink, with those shitty chrome towel racks, and tile that went up the side of the tub. it was super awkward to step in/out!
The kids want to be so hard But in my dreams, we're still screaming And running through the yard And all of the walls that they built in the 70s finally fall And all of the houses they built in the 70s finally fall Meant nothing at all Meant nothing at all, it meant nothing Sometimes I can't believe it I'm moving past the feeling Sometimes I can't believe it I'm moving past the feeling and into the night
Can I commission you to finish the first house in this video? The yellow kit home? I'm looking for a house that I can shoot videos in with a 70's look. I myself, was born in 1976 so these hit home to me, no pun intend. I can tell you more about it, whenever I can find you in VR.
I mean I love this video but there was no time given for me to adjust what I was looking at. Was not prepared for a anthro cat to explain why my childhood home was so fricked.
What was the deal with avocado green toilets in the 1970s? I mean, seriously, who thought it was a good idea to put such a questionable shade in a place that's supposed to be all about hygiene and cleanliness? Was it some sort of secret plot to gross people out?
Yeah this video is actually made up of 3 separate videos, recorded on different days and the audio level settings were different for each one of them. I tried to level it out best I could.

you... no shit, created my grandmas house. Amazing work man
you know you're living in a dystopian future when you pass the time by watching furry virtual reality house tours.
Ikr its so surreal
The not enough outlets part IS SO ACCURATE I live in a house that was built in 1977 and literally there's like one outlet for each room
You even captured the creepy neighbors black van, “hey kid want some candy?” LOL!
Such a great job as always!
I love the vibe of "I love/hate every part of this house". This is some of my favorite interior design. I always loved that shitty wood paneling and OMG THE BATHROOM DOOR HITTING THE TOWEL RACK I'm crying
Iove this entire video. It like a tour ad, hilarious
You outdid yourself on the houses! Great job!
I was waiting for the Avocado appliances, I was not disappointed.
Most honest real estate agent in history lol

It’s perfect when he just says:
shit gets ugly
you'd be the most honest house sales man
I don't know what happened, but here I am being guided on a house tour by a 21st century Realtfur.
Just showed up in my reccomended, I'm already subbed. I love your avatar and your whole vibe. Defo gonna check out the world
We didn't quite have that style in the UK, but the nasty colour schemes were there and the severe lack of plug sockets. My grandads house always had some car part in it that he was cleaning or repairing, though never an entire car.
Bro, not only were the houses amazing and really well done; the video was so fun and brought me heaps of serotonin! :3

Everything about this video is wonderful. Definitely checking out more of your videos later.
You did a marvelous job recreating a mid-seventies house. 😁 I would have hesitated to add the for sale sign. First Century21 might object if they ever find out. Second, somebody might actually try to buy it. (I heard that this is a thing now.)
ive never watched your videos before but this one just popped up on my home page, and im glad it did!
It´s so fun seing the ford fairmont in the livingrom and kitchen where the first thing i did when i got into the world, to add i always like the 70s style

This was disturbingly accurate. Great job.

It's genuinely impressive how much work you put into these they look amazing! Such a cool way of keeping this history alive ^^
I don't have any idea who you are, but darlin' you have a very specific interest and skillset and gotta say, I'm into it. Bless folks like you who can share your skills with the rest of us hahah. Can't wait to visit this map later.
Sweet dude, I love 70s contemporary houses as well. Great Job!
My great grandparents had that exact ceiling light setup in their kitchen.
Ahh thats cool! I wish that style would come back.
Yooooo me and a friend went there yesturday. xD I grew up in the 90s and a LOT of stuff from the 70s were still a part of my childhood. Gave me a lot of nostalgia. Thanks Cooper!

This reminds me of that part in Fallout 3 where you get trapped in a virtual world that was a nice looking 50's neighborhood.

I unironicly like the interior of that house :P
My house still has the harvest gold bathroom fixtures. Man did that stuff last
I'm so glad I found your channel you're really funny
I lived in a 1970s house and i recognized some of the colors used. You forgot gold was huge in the seventies like the faucets and handles were gold. Also and pink was big too.
Sir you made a cul-de-sac... And you did a fantastic job
I really liked the video! The only knit pick I have is I wish we could see the development of the houses but still great video!
i just found your channel but ive subbed already cause this is cool.

Heyo, it's just me. I really liked this video, but trust me when I say I'm much more interested in your voice and what you have to say than the totally epic music track you got in this. Loved this video!
Actually. This is ridiculously good.
They look so great omg!! :O
The pain of the 70s home colors, I remember them. I can’t stand the popcorn ceiling, something happens in one little spot and you have to scrape all of it off the ceiling, I started once and just ripped it all down and just put up plain painted drywall.
You need to put a 1975 Oldsmobile Cutlass in one of those driveways.
Great job!!
This is amazing.
*WOW!* These Houses are cool!
You are the best!
I was born in 2000 and so remember like ALL of these lol
Oh i can smell that house man and its all too familiar.
Awesome
This is amazing
You're trying so hard to make me hate it and I'd still move in in an instant. 😂
Is this a world anyone can go to this is so cool
Yep! Link is in the description.
i love this
The one you go in looks kinda like a drs office from the outside
Ive seen some of these in a few cities ive lived in
The HARVEST GOLD XD I want to be buried in that fridge good lords. Also, I can Feeeeeel the laminate under my sock-clad toes, it's gross and I love it XD

That nice !
before i moved to an apartment my home had that exact same guest bathroom but in pink, with those shitty chrome towel racks, and tile that went up the side of the tub. it was super awkward to step in/out!
I would buy a house from you, 100%. You should be in Real Estate.
8P amazing
ty C
ugh...
so happy over this, instead of my wish before
Is this accessible to Quest independently? As in I don't have to be hooked up to my laptop?
The kids want to be so hard
But in my dreams, we're still screaming
And running through the yard
And all of the walls that they built in the 70s finally fall
And all of the houses they built in the 70s finally fall
Meant nothing at all
Meant nothing at all, it meant nothing
Sometimes I can't believe it
I'm moving past the feeling
Sometimes I can't believe it
I'm moving past the feeling and into the night

I mean I love this video but there was no time given for me to adjust what I was looking at. Was not prepared for a anthro cat to explain why my childhood home was so fricked.

😎
That was sooo 70s
Your Voice sounds like Monty Wolf on youtube. lol
I trust this cat to sell me a house
I find your voice very smoothing for some reason.
What's the name of this world I want to visit lol
Link in the description.

i lov it uwu
bruh builder man more like builder cat
Thank you! I hate it when people paint brick, it's UGLY AF!
the music is a little too loud and overpowering the voices in this.
Yeah this video is actually made up of 3 separate videos, recorded on different days and the audio level settings were different for each one of them. I tried to level it out best I could.
@@Coopertom ah in that case you did pretty well with the situation,
I will trade you one bag of potato chips and mountain dew for one home, deal?
Hmmm, potato chips are getting pretty expensive these days. MMMMMaybe.
Man that interior smells like cigarette smoke and meth addiction
did you give yourself more teeth?
this was so much fun... do you have discord?
this is fantastic
