The big global news of this 21st century for the music world is the return of the legendary Swedish pop quartet ABBA to the recording studios after more than 35 years (the last was "The day before you came" in 1982) and the edition of new songs after 39 years (the last was "Under attack" in 1982 too) and a new album after almost 40 years (the last was "The Visitors" in 1981)
Beyond that these three data are for the Guines Book of records (I believe that No Group or Singer or Artist can come close to these incredible brands), the most remarkable thing is How they returned, with what level of quality And I must say that ABBA overcame all fears, doubts and expectations Their return is shocking and his quality is still valid
    "Don't shut me down" (2021)
    it's another surprise from ABBA
A pop song was expected, but there were reservations and fears for what it could be
(and here I include doubts to the voices of the girls due to their age)
And we find a magnificent work
The beginning is with Agnetha's voice attacking with the pleasant company of the piano. What Agnetha does in that introduction is anthology, exquisite modulating and using different nuances with her mature voice.
Until Benny's signature piano glint (nod to the mega hit "Dancing Queen") and ABBA's typical pop song is with us, with the fans, because the lyrics speak to us.
and Agnetha assumes that decoding of almost four decades and gives us her beautiful voice as the strings grow and lead to a memorable chorus with Frida reliving the historic third voice of ABBA
But it doesn't end there, the second part adds hooks and a xylophone is added to the bells (a nod to the marimba in "Mamma Mía"), and the pre-chorus has more force with Agnetha and Frida and the violins anticipate the elevation to a chorus triumphant final anthology reminiscent of his greatest hits
And it ends, like the begining, with a soft and sweet Agnetha voice and piano melody (nod to "Thank you for the music")
now we have the new album "Voyage" since last November 2021, with four nominations to Grammys awards 2023
(two for album and two for these song)
and the new ABBA Concert in the new ABBA Arena at London (with ABBAtars of Themselfes)
    Thank for your great reaction
and for Your respect to ABBA music
    see in next ABBA vídeo
    GOD bless You
    my best regards from

Abba, one of the most famous group in the world. Frank Sinatra rule the 1940's, Elvis the 50's, Beatles the 60's and Abba the 70's.❤️👍

You got the exact meaning of this song. The group ABBA left the scene in 1981 and they are back in a new form, meeting their fans with a new album after almost 40 years. And yes, you can see them performing this song and many other successes in London, at the ABBA Arena. There are avatars of them as they were in their youth; performing together with real artists. But they are very real anyway. Now and then combined.

ABBA has sold 400 million records. They were a group 1972-82. Two couples. They divorced but recorded three albums together after this. They released 8 albums. Then in 2021 they released the album Voyage, the first one in 40 years. They are good friends but don't work together anymore as a group. They are in their 70's now, two of them will be 80 in 2025. ABBA has a lot of fans old and young. Their music catalogue is a unique pop miracle a gift full of treasures waiting to be discovered by new generations.

Great reaction! Ok, now you must check out the song “ I Still Have Faith In You”, the official music video that was also released to lead off the new album release in 2021, shows ABBA in their active years together and shows how you will see them in concert now, as avatars , or “ABBAtars” of their younger selves live on stage .

ABBA ( Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny, Anni-Frid “ Frida “) is a band from Sweden who were initially active from 1972-1982. The Name comes from the 4 members initials. They were 2 married couples but both marriages ended in divorce in the late 70’s / early 80’s. Their big break came from winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with Waterloo. Benny wrote the music and Bjorn wrote the lyrics, Agnetha and Frida share lead lead vocals but the magic happens when they sing together “The 3rd Voice of ABBA”. They have sold over 400 million albums worldwide. Their music is the bases for the musical Mamma Mia and the 2 films Mamma Mia ! (2008) and Mamma Mia Here we go again (2018). They were approached a few years ago to put on new concerts using digital versions of themselves as they were in the 1970’s and as a result of this they decided to record a couple of new songs to be performed as well as their older hits. They enjoyed recording them so much that they decided to do a new album called Voyage which was released on 5th Nov 2021 almost 40 years after their last Album The Visitors and has sold over 2.5 million so far. I suggest you listen to the Greatest Hits Album entitled ABBA GOLD which was 1st album to spend 1,000 weeks on the UK charts enjoying 3 spells at number 1 (1992, 1999 & 2008) and today it is still in the charts at number 11 (week 1158) but also listen to their Album songs and b sides because they contain many a hidden gems many that could have been singles.

You never heard of ABBA? But you sang "Dancing Queen"! That's their biggest hit from 1976. This group outsold the Beatles in the 70s 😂 All of them are more than 70 years now. The lead singer here is Agnetha Fältskog. The whole world was crying when they came back with exactly this song (and "I Still Have Faith In You") in September 2021 AFTER 39 FUCKING YEARS OF RETIREMENT, can you believe that? Oh, that's a whole ABBA world to discover for you. Do you really never do any research before reacting to a song? You can't see them live as they only do outsold shows in London with digital ABBAtars who look like the real persons in their prime in 1979.

@@ValenciaGamble This is a lyric video to one of Abba's latest masterpieces.that for many older fans was a hugely emotional moment first time listening to this 2 years back. We've been waiting for this almost 4 decades.New songs were anounced in 2018 and went out 2021! We cried our eyes out!.ABBA was for some millions of us the soundtrack of our carefree childhood. Now time you do an ABBA video of one of their past classics. They look as friendly and beauuuutiful as they sound.

This is ABBA in their 70s. The lead vocal Agnetha is 71 in this recording, and she is the youngest of the four.
Forty years earlier they stopped working together after ten years of setting the world on fire. Their performances these days are in avatar form only ua-cam.com/video/2XY7xFcTWMo/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Yes "Dancing Queen " was their biggest hit in the US, but they had some nineteen hits worldwide.
The group consisted of two couples. The men wrote the songs and the lyrics and the women sang the songs. They are noted for their catchy melodies that you can't forget, their memorable l lyrics, and their masterful vocals and harmonies.
You have stumbled upon a wealth of original music that is just as impactful today as in was in the seventies and eighties. Perhaps your next ABBA listen should be "Mama Mia". The song that the Broadway play and the movies are based upon.

don't the instruments all sound real not like nowadays when they sound like samples on a software programme to be digitally mixed in?
ABBA are old school i'm sure they went into a big recording studio where all the instruments were.
and they prob mixed it using the old mixing board with sliding buttons.
benny was prob on piano as usual, bjorn on guitar,anna-freid and agnetha would be in a booth with their headphones on(like in the gimmie gimmie gimmie video)to do the singing.

      @@ValenciaGamble no problem.
      They are from Sweden.
Their name is the letters of their first names.
They were two couples.they did get divorced one after the other but the band stayed together for a little bit after.they still got on.
They are benny(piano, writer)was married to anna-freid(brunette).Bjorn(guitarist,writer)
      was married to agnetha(blonde).
The rest of Europe got to know them when they won the Eurovision song contest with Waterloo in 1974.usually the previous year winner hosts the contest the following year but for some reason they couldn't so it was hosted in Brighton on the south coast of England.
They are loved by Australia as well cause they toured there.

The Abba men stated that they wanted to do a trendblind album. They way they liked it.That's what they did.An 'organic' non-generic,non-autotuned recording. They also used real strings and their vocals sounded as good as new.Btw the beautiful 'ooo-hings" in this song was done by the guys. This is a 2017 recording, anounced in 2018 and released in late 2021.
