Thank you! Great question/point. It came with an XT30 so I had to solder in a deans to match the stock connector in the HBX truck! Most LIPOs this size seem to die with XT30 connectors… guess they are used a lot in the drone world.

@@il21broncos I don’t remember seeing much in 3S that has a Deans connector. A little later tonight I can look around and double check. Are you sure you want 3S? It is quite spicy! I have heard of some people that have had their stock ESC cut out running 3s (I had no issues). Your local hobby shop might be able to solder you one on for a really cheap… Mine has helped me with some things that were too small for my soldering abilities…. Just charged me for the connectors.
@@il21broncos I have over 20 in Videos testing my HBX 16890A. If that is the model you have, it will go close to 25… I would have to go back and double check how fast mine went in my videos. Till today did you have any issues with your car using a 3S? (I've got the 16889a pro that should be quite the same, the esc not so sure if it is 25A or 35A)
@@scappellos as you may well know, most C ratings are total horseshit and you cannot reliably compare ratings from one company to another or even within n company in some cases. That being said the LIPO you got may be a bit underwhelming. I have found my HBX doesn’t draw a whole lot of amps so even if it is lower performance it may not be as obvious as it could be in a setup with more demand on the LIPO. I am curious how much that LIPO weighs, the dimensions,and if it it is truly 1,000 mAh (seems it would have to be a bit taller than my 850 3s LIPOs if it is going to fit. Do you have a link to the LIPO? I have only run about 10 packs through my truck at three ass and I don’t go completely nuts with it… And avoid for to reverse and vice versa when driving it to abuse on the gearbox but so far so good. I am pretty sure your ESC is 25 A where mine is 35A. I have tons of videos where I used a cell phone as a GPS. Not as ideal in a small truck like the HBx but it can work.

I have never really timed it but on pavement I am thinking at least 10 min and maybe closer to 15. I remember thinking it ran longer than unexpected especially for how well it performed!

Brushless motor power, super battery power: 7.4V, 1000Mah Lipo battery. I will buy a 2slipo 2200 mah battery as a spare battery, will it be heavy on the car, will it increase its speed? Or if I buy a 3s 2600 mah 25c 11.7volt battery, will it damage the differential and drivetrain of the car? What spare battery should I get with the hbx car, please help, thanks.

Whatever man, it was worked flawlessly for me and provides as much power as the car can handle. I put in a cheap 5900 kv 2845 that would mop the floor with a Castle 0808 but it is honestly too powerful. A properly sized Castle is too expensive for this inexpensive car anyway....
You can get connectors on Amazon, or AMain Hobby. The battery is out of stock, but I was told it should be back in stock in June sometime. Let me know if that does not answer your question.

@@emrebagrack7858 nice, I have been really happy with mine overall. It does have a more toy like feel that a 1/10 scale bit is really quick on 3S.
