      Kirby Creek, if you hang around long enough, I will pull out my Buck 102 and sling some rigging! Great to hear from you. I'll see you on the trail pretty quick!

      @@daveoverholt8540 Glad you enjoyed it, Dave. That reminds me to remember to set up my trail cam. Lots of wildlife lurking out there now, and it would be fun to see. I sure appreciate your support, my friend.

    What a GREAT video to start my day. Such beautiful country there. Loved the scenery and subject matter. I could almost smell that campfire cookin'! Your video editing and production skills are ever more impressive Kevin. The mando soundtrack was sweet and blended well. Excellent post!!

    It has been too long Kevin, great to see you back and a great recap of the year that was . You live in such an awesome place and have some pretty fine critters in the general area. Thanks for sharing. Give that pup a treat on me.

      Howdy, Don. Yeah, I dropped my camera off the boat on that last fishing trip. And guess what, they don't float! Just pulled some smoked Kokanee from the freezer. A real treat this time of year. Great to hear from you. God bless you, my friend.

      Ouch ! Yes sir I know that feeling from when my drone hit the water and sunk like a rock and try as I might I never could recover it. Smoked Kokanee sounds good I love smoked trout. I want to get a smoker this year, care to share your brine recipe ? Hope to see more from you soon. Take care and God bless.

      @@bucktalesoutdoors7566 The kokanee (sockeye) tastes just like Alaska smoked salmon. More oily than trout. I sent you my smoked koke recipe. Smoked koke fillets make good tacos, with avocado, cilantro, chopped green onion, and dill dressing. Why am I always talking about food?

    Beautiful! I loved seeing you fish and make the good food and having a great fire, love the kettle too. And the buck and deer were amazing to see, as well as hearing the coyotes. Was that a trouble bear? It looked like it was limping.

    • @WestForkWoodsman
      @WestForkWoodsman  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Nicole! We had never seen that bear before, but he did show up limping. He may have stepped on a nail or been injured fighting. Just a guess. We hope he is hibernating and healing for spring. Those buck deer mostly come out at night, but we see the does every day. Thanks for stopping by!

      Harry The Woolly Man, your new name is perfect. That South Carolina snow melts faster than ours. I will trade you straight up. We have about a foot, but it's warmed up quite a bit to above freezing most afternoons. But winter isn't over yet!
