I remember my buddy had 1 just like that in 83 the year I graduated high school.. and he'd let me borrow it and I'd ride it through Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor Maine and it was so fun to get dropped off on top of Cadillac Mtn. and ride all the way down the mountain into the town of Bar Harbor.. ahhh those were the days

What a beauty! Red & chrome looks sharp. 😎 BTW, Porkchop BMX has actual chrome seat guts for $10, or blemished ones for $5, then silver guts for $6. :)
After forgetting the combination to my bike lock and then having to leave my Mongoose overnight at the community recreation center in 1983ish someone took a brick to the frame and destroyed it. My replacement frame was this exact Predator. I wish I still had that bike; I have no recollection what I did with it. Probably sold in a garage sale not too long after getting my driver's license. Big mistake!
That wag my first bmx bike as a kid, had a Schwinn with a banana seat before that, always loved Schwinn, especially being from Chicago, but they were always SO MUCH HEAVIER than all the other offerings, they had thy weight of, then would've been called a "K- Mart bike" 😆
I start spraying my steel frames internally... Especially being in up north Canada the springs have lots of salt left tell they sweep... It's hard on stuff
That was an absolutely amazing build of an old classic. If you don't mind, would you please provide the name of the "tar" that you used to squirt inside the frame to prevent it from rusting? Thanks for these videos. They are great!
Your not going to like what I'm going to say........... Ebay. Ebay is probably the best place to look. It's also the most expensive. You can look on BMXmuseum but it's harder to navigate. Goodluck 👍

I had this exact same bike only mine had black mags. It held up to beating after beating. Mid 80’s was the absolute golden age of riding BMX’s

I got a 81 and must be rare the ovel at the front has less slits by the welds i do got the og shwinn crank and sprocket they dont make stickers for it
