Переглядів 460Місяць тому
In this video we get a Craig Turner GT and build it for the customer while he waited. I told him it would be done but it got busy. I didn't want him to drive all the way back to us so I built it for him while he waited. Bike Company going out of business!
Awesome. Didnt know yall liked rc. Juat got my losi razor rey
Shocking find .
Lucky the car didn't knock over the locomotive .
Go Jason!! You didn't miss much: the fight wasn't all that. Usyk won again.
I use to smoke Mongooses and some DBs with my PL...had a smaller rear and bigger front sprockets. But then got my DB F1. That was a beast!
This guy reminds me of Issac from the Cars and Cameras Go kart and mini bike channel.
That is because Ike is my brother.👍
Casted the video on my Big Screen…you two could be twins for sure 😮
Amazing review. Had all physical information that someone don't see before had to know.
Thank you.👍
omg i made a cameo im honored
Wondering if you used any type of oil for the ball hone? Thank you
I actually owned one of the first Mathews box bikes sold in my area. It was purchased from a shop in North Berkeley CA called The Square Wheel. I can’t remember how much it cost but it wasn’t cheap. Wish I still had it to hang on the wall in my man cave. Thanks for the video.
I really like that track. Keep it going guys!
we loved having you all. look out for more Old School races next season
Great track and great video Jason. Good on Zeke for giving racing a try on the Elf (how apt ! ;) ) If we don't see you before hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
I would've rode that chrome & red GT.. She's a beaut! Wish I had something like this in my area. 😎
I remember as a kid, my Dad took me to Otasco and that's where I first saw the Blue Max. It was out of his price range so I didn't get it. Early 80's. It puts a smile on my face just looking at yours.
Oklahoma Tire and Supply Company, OTASCO! Brings back memories 😊
Zeek was fortunate as a newcomer that another participant had a frame /components to give away . He gave them to Zeek as acknowledgement for having a go and showing enthusiasm . He will have a nice new "baby bike" now to complete building .
Facebook are retrenching many employees around the world at the moment , particularly in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe . It is losing popularity in Australia due to Snapchat ,Tapatalk and Twitter / Instagram .
I raced my Yamaha FZR 250 3LN1 , (1989) four cylinder at the raceway on Monday 16th , this week . No prizes for our group of twelve riders , just social with a barbecue dinner to end the evening .
Jason you already know my reason I didn't come, it's cuz my bike isn't ready but once I get all the parts it be ready to build in March and will be ready for the old school race whenever there will be another race. 👍 great video man glad yall had fun
I have a limited edition orange and black Redline as well as a dark grey Free Agent needing reassembly . I will get them operational in the new year .
I organised a ride but had to give it a "LOT" of publicity many years ago . Multi - media campaign .
Participants ,(eight) . Could have ssen more ?
Thanks for the story! SOOO many thoughts. Happy is where it's at.
Great to see you! 👍
What seat post do you recommend for this bike?
What ever makes you happy. Just about any seatpost will work as long as it's the same size but I would stick with aluminum.👍
our dad got 3 for myself and my brothers how fun great memories. we road the s**t out of them you could pull the handle bars and tire far left and right and keep going straight put things in the street and dodged them not sure what happen to them ............. long gone............ memories forever!
My new project waiting patiently for it I got mine in the 16 “
I am building a replica 1920s Harley Davidson motorcycle
Imagine recabling the Lectric bicycle ?
I need Jason and Zeek to give me a hug and cheer me up after this bad forum experience .
Not good , Jason . I have been bullied by a bicycle forum moderator .
good find that $60 is worth $3000
Yes. I kinda feel bad. I really wanted it. But not to bad because $60 to me is probably $1000 to someone else since I'm broke.
How much was the big hit 3 worth in 2003? What would this be worth now?
They didn't have a Bighit 3 in 2003. If your talking about this bike we were selling them for $2,300 in 2003. Today they go for about $500 and up. This one is probably worth about $1,200 with all the upgrades.
Thats a cool background story! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you.👍
Hey jason are u hiring
Not right now but your welcome to drop off a resume.👍
I only have 700 miles on my 6 plus and its throwing up this Bull$hit 21 error code. POS.
It's not a bad fix. Most of the time it's a bad battery tray or a loose wire. Check the wires first. You may have a plug behind the battery tray that you need to check. The other possibility is a bad control module. I hope that helps. Goodluck 👍
Whoa I thought I was watching another channel with this guy. lol Forgot he has a twin brother.
Yep. That's my bro.
@@alloutbikes I think I remember you where on one of his videos. Loved this video and like to hear more Bike Shop stories!
For me this is your best video yet. It was really interesting , funny and you tell a good tale. I was a bit worried that the girl who was given notice in NC was going to be your wife but thankfully she was working next door instead 🤣. On the more serious side you make one hell of a good point of what to do when an employer takes advantage of a great worker. More of the same please- what and where your bikes have taken you, accidents you've had maybe?
Thank you for sharing.👍
Great videos Jason from Anthony Sydney Australia
Thank you Anthony.👍
@ your welcome Jason I loved hearing your story of what and how you got into the bike industry please keep making more videos cheers mate
Great story. Thanks for sharing 😁👊
Thank you.👍
Life is funny that way , take the bad as well as the good .
I love life bad or good.👍
Should have stayed at six flags lol
Nah. I like my job now.
What's the Square Footage of your store? I'm looking at a 2k Sq footage space right now.
My store is a little over 3500 square feet. We use 2 buildings side by side and now a shipping container. We started off with about 1500 square feet. 2,000 square feet would definitely work. You just might need a warehouse later on. My last place I worked at was about 2000 sq ft and it worked great most of the time but after 10 years they had to get a warehouse.
Where can I get one of those lifts for my Garage? Brand, store?
Harbor Freight sells them for about $100.
@@alloutbikes Thank you sir
BIG 👍 Thanks for sharing and really enjoyed the story. I only started working on bikes since finding my childhood BMX a few years ago and wanting to restore it. Now 15 or so bikes later I find working on bikes very rewarding. I totally agreed…there is something soothing about working on bikes, a sense of accomplishment versus my 9-5 on a computer. Someday will have to make it to North Caroline and checkout your amazing collection/shop. Much appreciated Jason! Happy Holidays 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Stop by anytime.👍
You know, I rarely watch a UA-cam video over 30 minutes long and certainly "never" over 45 minutes. I sat here and watched all 53 minutes and 32 seconds of this video. This was such a great story, and I appreciate your sharing your story so candidly. This just goes to show you that you never really work, doing something you love, so good for you. FYI, my generation, born in the latter 50's, still love being on a bike, but age has taken a toll on the body. Ebike's are a savior for our generation and I believe the longer (more years) you can enjoy being on a bike, promotes both physical and mental health, leading to a longer and more fulfilling life. I know you sell ebike's but marketing them to my generation could really benefit so many out there that think their biking days are over, when they could be just the beginning. I always enjoy your videos, and learn a lot on the way. Keep the great content coming our way. Submitted with great respect....... Joe
Thank you for sharing Joe!👍
I always wondered about that.. 👍
WHAT AN AWESOME STORY.. BULL YOU CAN MAKE MONEY WITH BICYCLES... WE HAVE ONE THAT HAS WITH 6 LOCATIONS IN MY AREA.. AND THEY HAVE BEEN AROUND OVER 40+ YEARS
That is the only way you can make money is having multiple locations. You have to have at least 3 stores before you really start making money. I should have clarified that. At least that is what I have been told.
@@alloutbikes or have high prices on everything... lol.. what this bike shop does
@@JOHNJ0HN9111 Yeah but that just drive more people to online sales. I try to keep my prices competitive. That is why I chose my location because it was low overhead and no competition.
This is a really good story. Sad how people can get the wrong idea and mistreat loyal employees. Doing what you love is always the best.
When I was truck shopping a month ago, a couple showed up 10 minutes before I arrived for my appointment to test drive it. Hour and a half drive. When I got there, the truck was warm, and I took it for a drive like I intended to. I said that I wanted it, but the couple stayed on that truck with lock jaw, and they finance guy couldn't shake 'em off, knowing I was going to pay more, even though they probably couldn't afford it. They basically bought it from under my butt. Maybe the truck was meant for them.
The late Bob Sepping from Universe Cycles went out of his way for my GT Richter 8.0 about the same time as the Trek 930 purchase by Jason .
