Go to Taiwan. It's still got much more traditional Chinese culture and all that's with it. Things are safe. In fact Taiwanese standards are rather high. It's a truly beautiful island. 10/10.

Can anyone tell me if this type of deceptive activity is happening only in China or are they also doing this in other countries? I live in the US and have always been suspicious of Chinese restaurants and markets.
Sad thing is they had a really bad earthquake and most of the newly built schools collapsed on the children after they deemed the old schools to be unsafe which after that earthquake were still standing with minimum damage. Lots of children died as a result and the gov refused to let parents put up memorials for their children theres even a documentary on this
i know that there is no space at all for anything positive related to China or its people, always showing them doing something disgusting or evil, but after watching some UK bloke hitchhiking 2000km through China all the way to Beijing (also here on YT) i have to say something about the impressions his video left with me. I am from europe and i was traveling alot in Thailand and even Vietnam with locals, but i have no experience when it comes to China, i have no ties with anything from China, i don't even know a chinese person and i think communism is a nightmare. with that out of the way i have to tell you that my view from what i have seen in his vlog is so positive, it's an anomaly. The people were so nice, the police was beyond helpful even trying to support him finding new buddies to drive with, random people bought him food and lots of other random positive impressions i've gotten from his video. I dont want to offend you David, but the content on your channel is really starting to get dull and redundant. It was funny, disgusting and even shocking to see all the things + the people caught on tape doing them, things the regime wants noone to ever see. But this video is a perfect example that there is a lack in creativity, production quality and new things to expose/complain about/make fun off. tofu drag and gutter oil for the 100th time or a new fruit being contaminated with chemicals etc. sorry, the content and the 101% negativity is really starting to tire me. My group and I visited China in Guilin tourists area. We stopped at a restaurant that night for some noodles. While sitting down in the restaurant, we saw huge rats 🐀 everywhere in the restaurant, running, chasing each other in the ceilings & walls. I lost my appetite. But that’s perfectly normal to the locals. Sorry, I had to let it out. I’m not used to that kind of environment. 😅
