China has great skylines because we choose to buy their toys and sell our money to them. If that were to reverse or the West stopped buying from them, they would no longer be in their position. You cannot sell to yourself. If you don't believe it, have your wife make 1 million of cookies per day and be her only customer and buy them all every day. You will discover, your family has nothing except way too many cookies because it still cost money to buy the ingredients for 1 million cookies.

If they want to peacefully get Taiwan Island, let the country move it's Chip Factories out. Carve land out in USA and Mars and the Moon for Taiwan, let the people move to the new country who want to. Problem solved. However, if they want show they have the biggest military to take over the world, then you have to figure that out.

Who built china ? USA Bankers. They moved all factories to china. They provided all technologies. They also gave money by buying all chinese made products. China is flush with money and built train bridges roads and cities in no time.
Why no one blaming zionist bankers? They want to destroy america to make china as only super power. No one dare to mention this.
Their goal as far as i see is Population reduction using china. BRI is scheme every country industry will be destroyed. Everyone will depend on chinese products. Without local industries every one will be kidnapped victim who survived on sperm of kidnapper. its just that
They will issue order to china dont supply any more goods to this country as they dont follow LGBQT+ laws. Bam that country is ruined .. no food ..famine and pandemic
Rinse and repeat for Global south countries.
Anyone with common sense and vision see where the Power is moving towards.

Musk and everyone else is getting part of their false info from the CCP Communist AI Bot. He drank the false cool aid about China not being expansionist. If you compare historic China with present day, you will see that China is almost double it's historic size because it has 3 huge countries that are not Chinas. China likes to use the strategy where they put a turtle in a pot of water and slowly boil it so that the turtle doesn't know it's dead. I bet according to the Communist AI, history will be rewritten to say Mongolia, Tibet & Xinjiang were always part of China. BTW, you can already see the news feed saying the American Indians have Chinese DNA, so that means... go back to Europe, North America belongs to China!

Used to live in China (I'm American, moved back to the US about 7 years ago). Have lots of Chinese friends. They see things relatively the similarly to Americans, in my experience. They don't hate Americans -- they do think our govt. is wrong just like we think theirs is wrong -- but the younger generation especially actually thinks Americans are sort of "cool" ... Like they listen to stuff like Britney Spears, watch NBA, wear American-style fashion, watch American movies (Marvel is really big)... It's interesting the youth culture of China is very similar to the American pop culture, but from 10 years ago. It's like they are just 10 years behind us pop culture wise. Also, you factor in that the US-China economic relationship is. the largest the world has ever known. Neither country will jeopardize that, the relationship would have to get a lot worse than it is now.. A lot worse. Right now it is in both countries' best interest to get along and it's really not a question. It's pretty clear.
I just bring this up because we so often hear about all the negative US-China stuff -- all the stuff that points to impending war and gets people scared -- but we seldom hear about all the positive things about the US-China relationship, and the indicators that there will not be war. You have to weigh both of these things together, weigh the + and - ... I think war with China is much much further off than people would suggest.

“When goods and services don’t cross borders, soldiers will.“ An apocryphal quote, often attributed to Bastiat (but apparently better attributed to Otto T. Mallery).
Regardless of the sourcing, the sentiment is probably correct. Going to war with your customer or your supplier carries the disincentive of interfering with your own flourishing. It may not be sufficient enough to prevent other reasons for war, but it certainly works against it.

That adds dimensions to the phrase, "If you want peace prepare for war."
And, similar to libraries being destroyed around the world like the the Emporer Chin's destruction, the destruction of the Inca and Aztec string and codex's, Al Saladin's final destruction of the Library of Alexandria...the Greeks were lucky their books were not destroyed.

You can’t take Elons word for any of what he says. The Greeks didn’t have a written history for centuries but they remember entire plays. Powerful minds. Intelligence in a different manner. So it’s not a simple concept, but it is a loss of intricate expressions of our humanity. These were all huge losses but much of it was lost to mercenary violence. And mercenary groups are making a comeback. Billionaires like Elon having their own private armies is the last thing we need. Wagner trained the Hamas troops involved in Oct. 7th. It’s a force of destabilization and that’s only ever brought instability to the state/ ruler in the territory they operate. Africa has been in constant wars since Britain left because of this. My great grand father at some point during the ending phase of WWII was in a bridge reconstructing platoon and it looked like they were going to become POWs. They had calculated that if they will have moved further south through or around the Alps a bit they could have ended up as american prisoners of war as opposed to russian pows. Fortunately for them the war had ended but they had been on the move out of the occupation zone of the soviet army...

It should be remembered that the Germans refused to afford Soviets the Geneva Convention. Russia had signed it but Soviets were technically not signatories at the time, even though they thought it applied to them. So Soviet POWs were executed on the spot, used as forced labour where they were worked to death, or were sent to concentration camps. Thus ~3.5M Soviet soldiers were killed cruelly by the Axis forces, thus indeed you did not want to be captured by the Soviets.

It was all designed to reshape the world in the interest of western capital and to crush the other superpower, communism i.e. 2 million dead in Vietnam and Korea; countless puppet dictators installed and democratically elected governments overthrown in brutal fascistic fashion. What did the Bretton Woods agreement do? The IMF, World Bank, 200 military bases all over the world which allowed us to rule with puppets in the post colonial era; thus stuff is basic; a college kid would know this. We treat our prisoners well? What about Guantanamo bay or cia torture sites all over the world? What about our own prisons? We have been directly and indirectly ruling the world post WW2 and we acquired plenty of territories before that in the Spanish'American war, Mexico etc. Our whole country coast to coast was "acquired". Truthfully I think interviews like these do more harm than good because they reinvent history; You would have to know next to nothing not to ask him a follow up question. I'm not even arguing what we did is right or wrong, but this Musk is completely living in a fantasy world and Lex must be completely ignorant, living in it with him. As far was wanting to be an American POW post WW2 is concerned: if you were a member of the Axis powers aka a n . A z. ---i in Europe, then go with the US, because you'll be resettled in Argentina, Paraguay or Canada. However, Japan got the atomic bomb dropped on ot to show the Soviets we had it.

Creating a global empire all at once, even with the advantages we had at the end of the war, would not be a walk in the park. The Germans were extremely brutal and vicious to the Soviet population, so by the end of the war there was so much pent up hatred and vengeance for the Germans, that if you’re a POW it was a no brainer to surrender to the western allies to receive better treatment if you had the opportunity.

The point here in regards to Taiwan, is whether the island declares independence unilaterally by the govt. of the day, remains to be seen. However, China has made its position clear with its policy on Taiwan, reunification is much more preferable than outright hostility but it could not be discounted if necessary. Taiwan is as important to China as Hawaii is to the U.S. That status quo would be difficult to change for either side, unless the world ends. Taiwan would need to reassess its relationship with China & the U.S. at the same time whenever a new govt. takes office in the island. A misalignment or even a miscalculation on China ‘s policy for cross straits relations, may prove to be disastrous for the island’s authority & its people.
