I like to get a task done in every study session. So its help me with my focus and free me from distractions. If i divide my study session for 1 task i cannot get any work done . And its demotivating.

Hi Ben! I’m a new subscriber/watcher of your videos and a material engineering undergrad in Canada (3rd year). I typically get high grades on everything non-exam related and perform above average in project based classes. However, It seems that no matter how hard or effectively I study, I always run so close to failing finals. I want to raise my GPA in my 4th year as I plan to get a masters eventually, but I can’t get grades on my finals healthy enough to support that endeavour, despite averaging proficient grades everywhere else. Have you ever seen this before? Do you have any tips for students that just can’t perform on finals? Your videos are very helpful, keep up the awesome work! Thanks!

Hey! It sounds like you are trying hard but it’s not reflecting in your grades, that’s really frustrating. It is a bit unusual that you are doing well on the other pieces of assessment and just not your exams. I have a couple videos on my channel about how I used to try and strategically study for my engineering exams so you should check them out for my tips on this subject. They are called “Exam Tips Every Engineering Student Must Know” and “How to Study for University Engineering Exams”. Let me know if you have anymore questions and I’ll see how I can help! Also thanks for subscribing and welcome to the channel :)

on principle #5 he mentioned he didn't do more than 5h per day to practice, how many hours on average worked for you? or does it differ from day to day? i'm very curious about this because i heavily rely on routine to perform, and i don't know wether you should study 50h a day (like some teachers have recommended) or where some people have said where 4h per workday is plently.

It’s really hard to recommend a set amount of hours you should spend studying each day. Like I mentioned in this video it’s about both quantity and quality. Although if you really want to stick to a routine I think if you studied for 4 hours everyday that would be plenty :)

Hi Ben I'm from India who's aspiring to take Computer Science Engineering as my degree and i've heard that a lot of math is requried to pursue this degree also i've not studied math fully(got less marks) in my schooling but i'm willing to put in extra work in my college course.
Do you think i should pursue or is the degree not meant for me?

Hey! If you are willing to put in the extra effort during college you can definitely make up for any missed knowledge during schooling. You should definitely pursue this degree if you’re interested! A very booming industry right now and there’s certainly going to be lots of jobs in the future
