Cool one. What motivates me to study is the sheer terror of studying these things again if I fail.

Hahaha! People do say that fear can be a great motivator

Hello from Norway. I am not currently studying engineering, but will be next year. I was wondering if you have any advice on things and courses that I should learn before I start, to make next year a bit easier.
also, love your content, keep going!

If you’re not fresh out of school I would brush up on high school level maths and physics. Besides that you should just get stuck into it once you begin the course :)

    Hi Ben,
I'm a fan of your work in youtube. I'm also a fellow engineering student from India who loves your content. From the videos & vlogs I came to understand that you are efficient engineering student who stays in top of the class. Could you share your study process & problem solving techniques for your engineering classes?
    Stay Happy!
    Regards,
A fellow Engineer (going to be)

Hi there! I’m glad you like my videos :) I have made quite a few different videos about my study process/problem solving techniques but if there is something specific you want to know about I’d be happy to think about a way I could incorporate it into a future video 👍🏼

When you are doing an exercise to test how much do you know about, and then you find out that you forgot a formula that is necessary for it. Do you keep trying to remember it for how long? Like 1 minute, or more?
Because lately I noticed I am forgetting a lot of things I just studied. I am having a hard time doing exercises without looking in my notes. Things are not sticking in my head for long, although I am following the classes and making summaries.
I read on a book about studying that we need to force ourselves to remember what we studied, instead of doing only passive learning. But I have doubts about how much I should try to remember before actually taking my notes and copying the formula written in the exercise. What is your thought on this? How do you do exercises when you are not very good in the subject yet? Do you copy the formulas and solve the exercise and then after a week try to do the same exercise? Or try to do a different exercise that might use the same formula? Thanks Im loving your channel.

It sounds like you need to do more repetition. If you are forgetting things as you’re studying you should look to remind yourself and then keep going. Later in the study session try and do that question again without looking and if you can’t, repeat this process until you remember :)
