Your curly ends are soo cute. LOW DENSITY GIRLS UNITE!! my hair is low density too so when i do twists i find it looks better when i've done it on wet hair or when the steam from the shower gets it! i keep it in a shower cap for most of my shower and then let it all out to catch the steam for a few minutes before getting out. OR i keep it out for the whole shower! i find my hair feels sooo soft and doesn't dry out compared to when they are out of twists. my scalp doesn't get as dry or irritated either. the ends get a bit frizzy because of damage and having loose curls in random places but i use a curl cream or regular leave in to curl it back up. they look full and fluffy. they will appear shorter because of shrinkage but i don't mind as i do them as a low manipulation style. i also use eco styler if i want the curls/twists to hold longer but (to whoever is reading this) you can obviously use whichever gel you prefer :)
Thank you love!! ❤️ I will definitely be using some of your tips next time! I haven’t used Eco styler gel in soo long! And yes! The steam from the shower made my twists POP! Lol 💕
Thank you for the upload, I think going smaller made it more fuller, and honestly it came out greater, I like them so thank you for still showing the results, and your skin is amazing!!! I will definitely be changing my mini knotless into twists :)
I know what it's like to covet those full, juicy twists that the full-density-haired Ladies have. We low-density gals gotta accept and embrace the initial thinness. I knew with time your hair would fill out/ poof-up some. I liked the way your twist looked before you redid them too! I like the creme of nature edge control.
I’m so glad I found this because j did mine last night and they look like yours did so let me go ahead and spritz them because your end result is exactly what I was trying to get
This is so cute!! I never did them cause I thought I wasn't allowed to NOT have perfect parts. They look great! And I definitely going to try them. I don't want to use heat though so hopefully I can figure out some method to do them heatless.
Yes!! Thank you! ❤️ After you wash your hair, you can strength them in braids then comb each section out afterwards once they dry. That’s normally what I do when I don’t want to use heat. & I definitely didn’t want to spend forever doing my hair so I didn’t care about them parts lol
I was acutely waiting for you to sprits your hair with water. I've clearly been watching too many loc videos. 😂 They do twist & then sprits water on them. 😂
❤ Thank for this video! I have the same type hair and you've explained this experiment and process so well..uuugh finally i have the confidence to try this style on my low density hair..thank you thank you thank you! Now I'm about to do mine..lol but God! Wish me luck❤
I am so happy that I was able to help you and boost your confidence! It’s definitely discouraging sometimes to try different hairstyles with low density hair! But if there’s a will, there’s a way lol good luck! ❤️ I know it will look great!
It probably came out flatter bc of not rewashig...my daughter I have not figured it out yet 🤦🏾♀️ but one time I did get a nice fluffy curly twist and for the life of me can't remember what I did smh I think I washed and used mousse with blue magic tea tree oil leave in styling conditioner 🤔 I'm going to have to use these two again to see if that's what I did but they came out so fluffy and beautiful and we both have thin hair very curly ❤
Keep doing them, you’ll figure out what works for you eventually. ❤️ I’ve definitely had good and bad moments with my mini twists. It’s all just a learning process.
I LOOOOOVE mini twist! It's how I wear my hair 98% of the time. I haven't had them in for a couple weeks because the last time I put them in it took way too long. My hair is thick and it's getting longer... it wore me out. I always do mine on blown out hair. I think yours looked really nice. They usually plump up the longer you have them in.
I like this! I am never careful with the parting on the back and then try to be neat on the front and thats all. I would like for someone to explain what my density is lol. I feel I have a mid density, is that a thing?
I use my hair steamer on low to plump my twists bc the front of my hair is always smashed…and then blow dry on low to stretch, i do this many times a week and i leave my twists in for like a month and I’ve never had any issues with heat damage or anything.

Your twists are beautiful and I have the same texture and sometimes I set my ends on perm rods to give it fullness for a few days.❤
Thank you!! ❤️ That’s a great idea!

Yesss! I love mini twists too! Thank you love ❤️
I like the before and after!
Thank you!! ❤️
Your mini twists came out good 😊
Thank you love! ❤️
Something I do bc I’ve got fine hair strands. I just crochet in some water wave hair and twist those pieces for extra fullness.
Great idea!! Thanks for that tip! ❤️
I like this! I am never careful with the parting on the back and then try to be neat on the front and thats all. I would like for someone to explain what my density is lol. I feel I have a mid density, is that a thing?
Thank you! 💜 Yes medium density is a thing, sometimes I think I have medium density too lol it depends on the day

Fine strands vs thick strands . The other person had thicker strands. (
Yup, you’re right
