Also, just thought i would add, if you are in the Southern California area, not sure if you already know but Anza Borrego is a nice place to camp. Last time i went we pulled into a camp spot off the road. Some of the spots have a very bumpy road so i wouldnt suggest those spots but there was one i remember that was a bit more flatter than the rest. There is also a Pie spot near by called Julian's Pies. I suggest the apple pie with cheddar cheese! Other than that cant wait to see where you will end up next!

I live in a van for 3 years now and love it. Just starting to make my first big renovation. My tip to get the car extreamly cool is a water sprayer for plants and so on. Fill it with water and spay the hot side of the car. It will suck a lot of heat out. Also small pc fans help to keep my airflow. I will hack my diesel heater for that as well to have it just blowing air. I was wandering how you made the sealing and if you are happy with it
Just did Yosemite and Death Valley less than a month ago and it was such a beautiful experience. I hope you guys were able to make it out to badwater basin!
Ryan you are more than a gentleman, and your sister should have seen this coming! Your sister is small and petite, which means that she would have been just as comfortable sleeping on the air mattress, when it is obvious that you were all crimped up in the front seat, wow she should have volunteered. Have fun on your adventure and sorry, I am outspoken.
Noelle reminds me of Billy Joel song, all woman :-) also, when cooking seems really simple you see a good cook cooking. Also in Belgium , Aywaille there is actually one giant sequoia, the only one in Europe I believe.
