You are knocking these videos out of the park! You are absolutely correct about respect…..dress and act classy and that is how you will be treated. My husband and I were once bumped up to 1st class because we acted respectfully when our flight was significantly delayed and we were dressed in “business casual” attire. I often wonder why people dress so shabbily when flying because in my opinion it doesn’t take very much effort at all to present a put together look. You feel better about yourself and others will follow suit….you will be treated more respectfully if you respect yourself. 😎

As for smoothness....I get RF (radio frequency) micro needling done very so often. The micro needles created controlled injuries to your skin, which stimulates collagen production as they heal. Hi Serena, Do you have any issues with the Spanx Air Essentials Tapered Pant being too long? I'm 5'2" and I noticed a lot of reviews on the Spanx website mention they are long. Thank you.
@@saltairandsanddunes no, they hit me right at the ankle. But....I have a 30" inseam. The tapered pants have a 27" inseam so they are perfect for me. But most 5'2" ladies don't have an inseam as long as mine. I'm extremely short-waisted and have long legs for my height.
@ saltairandsanddunes...I can't find a Spanx pant that is not to long. I try "Petite" and too long .I need 25" to 26" inseam . I am wondering about the ones labeled "Cropped"? Any suggestions?
I’ve been eyeing those vionic loafers for a few months. I love vionic, but find many of their shoes too wide for me. I’ll be curious how other people have found these to be in the width.
I was eyeing them too. I ordered them, intending to wear them on a planned trip to Europe. When they arrived, I put the loafers on and walked right out of them. I could not keep them on my feet. I have a medium width foot and narrow heels, but not that narrow. I packed them up and sent them back.
@ Thank you for that information. I’ve always worn medium width shoes, but several Vionic styles have been too wide, that’s the main reason I haven’t already ordered them. Now, I know they will most likely be too wide for me, too.

We've become far too casual as a society. I cringe at some of the things I see people wearing at the airport! When did it become okay to wear pajamas in public?! I love that cashmere hoodie so much! That is going on my Christmas list, in a couple different colors!
5:07 pm, Good evening from GEORGIA in the USA. Old Delta Airline Senior Pilot wife, Business attire in pants or dress, below the knee length. Fresh and pressed. This is just pride in your profession and fellow citizens. We are expected to set a proper standard. Nothing guady or showy. Classics work.
For car travel or long flights of six or more hours I would wear -and have worn- an air essentials leisure outfit or something similar. On shorter flights we dress nicely- not for TSA or the flight crew but because that is how we dress and present ourselves on a daily basis. We travel a good bit and see people wearing pajamas, bedroom slippers, dirty clothing and for the most part, clothing that is either much too tight or oversized to the point of falling off. We have become a nation of slobs! Although for the most part I don’t endorse athleisure for daily wear I appreciate that you are introducing it as a step up from what many are currently wearing.
My problem is going from cold weather to hot weather. So, you wear comfy warm outfit departing and when you land, you’re boiling…and then you have an outfit that you can’t wear on your trip because it’s too warm. So, I would like to travel with an outfit that I can also wear during my trip stay. If that makes sense. 😊
Great video! I think I’m the only one who has NEVER liked leggings! I hate the feeling of the tightness around my waist, thighs & crotch. Much prefer to have some room in my pants! Also I just got those Vionic loafers, so pricey but they’re the most comfy shoes I’ve ever worn!
Great suggestions…..most of us can tell the difference between “fast cheep” clothes compared to these nice classy items. Better material, a better fit and nicer colors! I don’t want to look like I shop at the corner store.
Hi Serena, great video. I agree with you about how people are dressing for travel. Hate to see travelers in flip flops on an airplane. I agree that there are very comfortable, casual pants that are not leggings and the disadvantage is then one needs to wear a long tunic top. Not traveling over the holidays, but coming down to South Florida in the winter.....I live in Chicago.
Your opening comments are absolutely right. I am rethinking leggings; I think I’m over them as well. Athletic wear is several levels above leggings when worn appropriately.
I hate hate leggings, they should be an out for fashion statement. Leggings are awful. In Pittsburgh where Im from im so tired of seeing most people that cant or shouldn't be wearing them wear them. Joggers are the way to go if you are traveling most of us can wear them
I was in the grocery store today and there was a woman in there with flannel sleep pants and slippers on. I just don’t get it, I would never leave the house with what I wore to bed.
This video is one of my favorites! We recently flew from DFW to Charlotte- first class, mind you! The way people dress is absolutely disgraceful. I wasn’t raised like that, so it’s shocking. Even in first class, the gentleman across the aisle had pajamas on at 8 am! 😳🙄
Hallelujah!! So glad to hear someone else say this about leggings! I’ve always said “leggings aren’t pants”! If you must wear leggings then do us all a favor and cover your cute patootie with a tunic. I get so tired of seeing women’s butts everywhere I go!! 😂
Serena I tried to get the pillow but your code was not longer working:( And you are not kidding, airports and supermarket have become people's bedroom. Don't care if you wear leggings but please leave pajamas, sleepers, shower caps😬yes shower caps not head wraps, bath robes...I just can go on
If you aren't interested in style, there are a lot of other things you can watch. I enjoy her opinions as a hobby. Also, you don't have to followed her advice but her suggestions will make you look higher level if you are interested in appearing better to the society. Of course you can do whatever you want but I just don't understand the obvious anger. Go watch gardening or cooking videos if fashion and style make you uncomfortable or you can watch car mechanics if you want to fight feminine stereotypes lol. Do what makes you happy and your hobbies.
Honestly, I don’t see much of a difference between wearing essentially an expensive sweat suit or leggings! They are in the same casual category in my opinion.
I really don't care what people wear, unless they smell clean, and don't stink next to me on a 8 hour flight, that's the worst and I went through it once. Next time I will ask to be moved, and hopefully there will be room on the airplaine.
I agree the pjs in the airport is odd and I also feel self conscious wearing even higher end athleisure in public. I usually opt for slim leg ankle pants with stretch. I tend to go hot then cold and need a removable layer. I tried a kangaroo pocket hoodie on my last overnight flight. I found it useful bc I didn’t need to pack a winter jacket and great for airport layovers. Also when folded in the hood doubles as a travel pillow. Although, I found taking it off and on during the flight was tricky because of proximity to others. I have worn and liked the cardigan but it does not double as a pillow, like a kangaroo hoodie does. I may try a nice fabric zip up hoodie next time. Thanks Serena for the great ideas.
Sorry but you can't compare air travel today from yester years. When they bring back normal sized airplane seats and leg room, respectful TSA agents, reasonable carry on rules and not corralling us about like cattle, maybe then people will dress better. Til then I'm not judging anyone.

In which part?
I thought you said the DeMellier bag was a knock off? You linked the real one
@@MsA-bomb the one I got in Amazon is no longer available. I linked the real one and also a less expensive similar one.
We've become far too casual as a society. I cringe at some of the things I see people wearing at the airport! When did it become okay to wear pajamas in public?!
I love that cashmere hoodie so much! That is going on my Christmas list, in a couple different colors!

Thank you for considering long car rides!
We were at the airport this past weekend, we saw so many people had on tight leggings with short tops which showed all the wrong parts.😢

The other video you mentioned that nylon pocketed purses were not going to be popular this fall. Someone forgot to tell Vera Bradley.
@@phyllispeterson5800 Vera Bradley has a niche and it's old ladies.
You're right about all of that. Fit, material & colors are better. This is evident with a lot of those Amazon "dupes" for more expensive pieces.
You all so dumb ...legging is beautiful ...look elegant....more than sloppy wide leg jeans
You’re so classy.
@@eneidaesser566 thank you!

Hi gorgeous
I love leggings so versatile dress up or down their all I own. Over t0 don't wear jeans and a bixy top tacky look I think. Or a dress us always easy .
This video is one of my favorites! We recently flew from DFW to Charlotte- first class, mind you! The way people dress is absolutely disgraceful. I wasn’t raised like that, so it’s shocking. Even in first class, the gentleman across the aisle had pajamas on at 8 am! 😳🙄
@@KAZHE63 it's awful!!!
Hallelujah!! So glad to hear someone else say this about leggings! I’ve always said “leggings aren’t pants”! If you must wear leggings then do us all a favor and cover your cute patootie with a tunic. I get so tired of seeing women’s butts everywhere I go!! 😂
How you dress makes a difference in how flight attendants perceive…and treat you. I just retired from that job. Dress nice and have manners.
Appropriate dress is important.
Serena I tried to get the pillow but your code was not longer working:(
And you are not kidding, airports and supermarket have become people's bedroom. Don't care if you wear leggings but please leave pajamas, sleepers, shower caps😬yes shower caps not head wraps, bath robes...I just can go on
I'm checking with my POC to see what's up with my code. Please check back in the next day or two. I'll update it in the description.
It’s so sad that a large part of society in America have no sense of style and look like .. dare I say it…slobs.
Definitely agree with you!
Not everyone is petite like you. I need pants that have a 33 or 34 inch inseam
@@connieheadley7559 Quince has the pants I'm wearing in this video in multiple inseam lengths.
So weary of “ influencers” and their opinions about how women should dress. Wear what you want, don’t allow others to police what you wear.
@@leslielippert9623 everyone is entitled to an opinion. Yours is no more valid than mine. I just happen to have a UA-cam channel to share mine.
@@lesann1896 and I believe I said I would only wear those on a long, overnight flight or long car ride.
I really don't care what people wear, unless they smell clean, and don't stink next to me on a 8 hour flight, that's the worst and I went through it once. Next time I will ask to be moved, and hopefully there will be room on the airplaine.
Leggings are for exercise
Leggings look like you have no self respect and no respect for others
What is up with everyone pointing their finger, lol.
Jeans are not comfortable for long flights
I didn't say to wear them on long flights, did I?
Sorry but you can't compare air travel today from yester years. When they bring back normal sized airplane seats and leg room, respectful TSA agents, reasonable carry on rules and not corralling us about like cattle, maybe then people will dress better. Til then I'm not judging anyone.
It’s so sad that a large part of society in America have no sense of style and look like .. dare I say it…slobs.
