    You should do some of the lesser known YA movies like Vampire Academy, that witch movie with Emmy Rossum, The Host, the Percy Jackson movies, and that red riding hood movie with Karen from Mean Girls. Not all of them were completely bad but they definitely weren’t on Twilight’s level.

    • @caecolvin
      @caecolvin 2 роки тому +8

      YESSSS. That witch movie with Emmy Rossum? ‘Beautiful Creatures’ - it’s one of my favorite ‘bad?’ movies and I won’t apologize for it. lol
      Mostly because it’s exactly that - not bad, but more confusing? Because the plot is semi-interesting (enough to make you question some things, obviously) & then you turn around and suddenly it’s like: ‘What’s Jeremy Irons doing here?’
      It had a decent cast and plot, but not enough of a draw to build fan base or spawn sequels based on the entire book series. I’d love to see Kennie do it.❤️

    Honestly, for the first of 5 minutes or so of your recap for this movie, I thought he was the only person in the film! Every clip was stock footage and green screen. That clip with soldiers took me out though! I was thinking, "I know this man did not shoot this scene and then put a still shot on it!" I feel like all the people in this film had the same acting classes, or was picked up off the street. On another subject, the sci-fi jargon issue gets to me as well sometimes. I just want them to show me what it does, I'm not likely going to remember it, nor will they likely ever say it again in the film. I think it works best for tv shows or movie sagas, like Star Trek or Battlestar Galactica.

    It's not a bad movie, but since you're so into camp, I'd love to see a video reaction to The Lost Boys 1987

    I came into this movie not knowing anything and expecting nothing. I came out not knowing anything and expecting nothing. This feels like Shrodinger's video, I watched it and didn't at the same time. Neil Breen is truly beyond mortal comprehension

    *deep breath. So I watched Kurtis Conners video about the separate dimension that is Neal Breen...but I dissociated that out of my existence. So I appreciate our girl bringing it back to awareness.

    I'm actually a big sci-fi fan (Star Trek DS9 is my absolute favorite) but i totally agree, the techno babble is the worst part of any scifi. Any time they say stuff like "They're flooding the ship with omicron particles! Reverse the polarity of the shields!" I'm just like, "yah, okay, sure, whatever." Cuz like, I'm watching for the political intrigue and the funny aliens.
    But anyway, I definitely need to check Neil Breen out bc that soldier scene was really something, lol.

    I thought the two brothers were suppose to be Cain & Abel… or two forces that look alike in general and go about handling humanity in separate ways.. just my pov.
    “Ill be right here” points to his heart and it lights up as he looks at us. I knew right away who his character was portraying and the point of the whole film. BRAVO! He got his point across to me at least.
    Btw freaking love your reviews! The eye makeup is simple and elegant yet, turns heads. 👍🏼
