Welcome to Next of Ken and in this episode, we're counting down 37 Lines From "Seinfeld" That Prove We're All George Costanza. Jason Alexander's George Costanza was easily the most relatable character from "Seinfeld." So delightfully average, George Costanza is an icon of comedy for his ingenious life hacks, his witty comebacks, and his ability to stay calm under pressure. Okay, not really. But we love him anyway.

tiamta Thank you!!!
tiamta keep telling ken that.
Retro Mammoth That’s okay, we still love you!
All clips, no filler. Good stuff.
You are so very welcome!
The older I get, the more relatable George gets. Scary thought.
It's because we're living in a society.
I’m literally like George, God would never let me be successful
I know i am george deep down. Luckily, I work from home so nobody sees my mental breakdowns 😂
There's nothing scary about a person who is honest with himself and the world. In fact the scarier thought is that more of us aren't like this.
For real
You forgot: "I don't want hope. Hope is killing me. My dream is to become hopeless. When you're hopeless you don't care. And when you don't care, that indifference makes you attractive"
So hopelessness is the key.
@@fromthehaven94 that's my only hope
That's actually a crazy..and somewhat insightful line lol
true story
Losing all hope was freedom... Tyler durden...
George Costanza is truly one of the greatest characters of all time, and Seinfeld is one of the best shows ever made.
TimeandMonotony Agreed!
Look into Larry David's stuff, geroge is playing him on the show
Strangely if it lost one character from the main cast it would have done best without is the title character.
Without George and Kramer, there would be no Seinfeld.
@rimmersbryggeri: not a chance. Jerry was the straight man (usually), it was through him that the characters associated with each other. Look, all the pieces work. It's a great show. That's it.
Stranger: "How can you live with yourself"
George: "Its not easy"
Best!
I ask myself that same question.
I recently moved home in my 30s, I'm on again off again employed, and my parents scream at each other all over the house. I have become george. serenity now!
But are you short, fat and balding?
That doesn't work you know....Serenity now, insanity later
Well if you were more like Lloyd Braun...
I feel you bro, I've been there. I hope things change for you soon.
Do the opposite of everything you've ever done.
I don't want to be remembered. I want to be forgotten
And yet... Here we are.
"It's not a lie if you believe it." Mind blown!
It actually helps me a lot to have that mindset when lying :D
I use this technique while bluffing at the poker table. You gotta believe it to make it true or something will look wrong.
I've lived life with this mindset since the ripe old age of 10, George hasn't failed me once
I use opposite approach, i always seem nervous so when im actually nervous you hopefully dont notice the difference.
Even psych used it.
*WE'RE LIVING IN A SOCIETY*
My goal is to one day have the opportunity to yell this out loud
I try to find an opportunity to say it on a daily basis
Drive for uber in New Orleans or any major city. You'll have plenty of opportunities to yell that
We're supposed to act in civilized way.
I don't think you have to search much... the world is too fucked up.
As Jason said himself on Twitter: “we are all like George Costanza but we are not all getting paid for it!”
"How do you eat it, with your hands?"
His face filled with all the snarkiness is a perfect capsule of what we love about George 😂😂
My all time favorite George Costanza line!!
Exactly 😂😂😂😂😂
A George divided against itself CANNOT STAND
Hugo Stiglitz *his old gym coach from high school calls him Can't Stand Ya instead of Costanza! LOL* ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Worlds collide!!
Who am I? “I’m the opposite of every guy you’ve ever met.”
Classic.
Seriously, Jason Alexander was the best actor of the series.
He ripped off Woody Allen and Phil Silvers quite a bit
Wayne Rogers just shut the fuck up and like the comment Jesus

his best line ever: "...she's the only woman i never lied to...well, that's not completely true."
geo dezix I’ve felt the same exact way.
Lol...yes
Pretty sure George could've become Joker if pushed a little more.
You must've seen the video someone made like myself. Shits funny

@@liquidasylum2362 "GEOKER" 😂
How Jason never won an Emmy for this I will never understand
Especially the speech with the whale.
Because micheal richrds was nominated for kramer every time
"I'm much more comfortable criticizing people behind their backs."
You HAD to have the BiiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIG salad!
I seriously think that was the best scene and I couldn't stop laughing

Believe it or not, George isn’t at home.
Please leave a messaaage at the beep.
I must be out, or I’d pick up the phone.
Where could I beeeee?
Believe it or not, I’m not hooome!
Pick up, I know you're screening for Allison
George are you there? I HATE that STUPID Message....
Classic...
I have been looking for that message to put as my answering machine message FOR YEARS! 😫
i liked that one best
"I'm paying for those meals" Lmao Jason is one talented dude
No other characters in the history of tv have been able to live up to the legacy that is George Costanza. Happy Festivus everyone!
Anemic Royalty94 i so agree
My dad thinks hes more like frank and im george lol
I'm not going to disagree but you got to admit Al Bundy gives him a good run.
I love George, but Archie Bunker was my boy.
A Festivus for the rest of us !
George was right when he said "I don't want to be remembered. I wanna be forgotten.”
This was supposed to be the summer of George!!
Code Khalil lol
George is getting upset
George likes his Chicken Spicy
Who’s here from the quarantine?
"Let's get nuts!" Kills me everytime 😂
George rarely has a job, claims not to have money, but lives in NYC eats out every day and never wears the same expensive clothes twice.
Especially not that $300 suit from Moe Ginsburg.
It's cause he's Jewish
@@reservoirfrogs2177 Ho HO!
@American Folkways Last I checked Festivus wasn't a Jewish festival.
I thought he had a high paying job working for the yankees
George Costanza is secretly the heart of Seinfeld. Michael Richards got all the love with the emmys but Jason Alexander deserves more credit for creating an all time great character.
You missed the most important one: "Was that wrong?"
Cartwright? Cartwright?
Probably the greatest sitcom Character ever.
"I was in the pool! I was in the POOL!!" Ladies, inform yourselves about shrinkage, it could make or break a relationship!
Hugo Lalumiere
Shrinkage is no laughing matter. One moment everything is hanging normally, then just a few degrees of coldness suddenly they retreat into our bodies like soldiers diving into the trenches.

Not going by the video title either, it's pretty clear what he says
How people can say Friends is better than Seinfeld blows my mind. George single handedly is better than all of Friends.
I think the difference is that "Friends" is presented as more "benign" and "feel good." So that's a more fun, palatable and nostalgic feeling. Whereas Seinfeld is deliberately bad natured, sarcastic and cold. No hugging. No learning. It has a harder edge, so it's a bit more dynamic. And, frankly, people don't always like dynamic. Being the Sithy East Coast edgelord I am, Seinfeld feels like home to me and I could never get into Friends, but that's just me
So true!
You forget that Jerry is so bad that he actually counts against any good that George does.
You nailed #1.
One more:
“The sea was angry my friends. Like an old man trying to return soup at a deli!”
That was a great line.
"I said 'Easy, big fella!'"
"Serenity Now!!!"
I say it at work at least twice a day.
Huge Firefly fan, are you?
insanity later
Titan Uranus My man!
superlew12080 haha I need to say it every now and then
I just spend my days trying to Fool Lloyd Braun
"They're killing independent George...a George divided against itself cannot stand!" Epic line.
"Yeah, well I SLEPT WITH YOUR WIFE!" always gets me xD
His wife's in a coma.
always liked him better than Kramer but apparently I'm in the minority He should've gotten an Emmy
Kramer is funny, but George is just on another level.
My mother always said I'm not special.
sarcasmo57 did you tell your mother that you're gay yet?
fuzzy wuzzy wtf?
"You know if you take everything Ive accomplished in my entire life and condense it down into one day. It looks decent." lol
“At least he’s no pigman” haha, always gets me. George has absolutely no self dignity, what so ever.
“ these pretzels are making me thirsty “
“Yeah, like I don’t know that I’m pathetic!” 💀😂
2:23 lmao! I've only ever watched a handful of Seinfeld episodes but George is easily one of my favorite characters in anything
Joseph Bastidas watch more
always liked him better than Kramer
Yeah. Kramer might give more immediate laughs. But with George it's all cumulative. Lines become funnier each time you hear them because then you have a better idea of how messed up he is.
Georges is the best
Same. I originally was drawn to Seinfeld because I always heard about Kramer. Especially being a huge It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia fan I always would hear it compared to Seinfeld and even more specifically Charlie compared to Kramer. But as soon as I watched it while I did really like Kramer, I liked George a bit more.
George Costanza is like a more handsome, taller, skinnier, more charismatic, more successful, and funnier version of me.
Jason Alexander was the 💣 in this show. He was perfect for George
Me and my dad watch Seinfeld almost every day and we love half of these lines my personal favorite is “ Believe it or not George isn’t at home please leave a message at the beep I must be out or I pick up the phone where could I be believe it or not I’m not home”
The answering machine shrug dance is one of the greatest moments of TV history
Every countdown video should be like this!. Straight to the point.
“I’d rather she hated my guts if she thought I was attractive.”
Seriously though.
I actually use #12 at work all the time with tremendous success
pantera shakespeare Does it really work?
We had a guy at work who always walked around with a manilla folder. Same type of thing, he always looked like he was going to or coming from somewhere.
@@beav1962 I do a lot of carrying packages, bills and stuff from place to place in my work. I'm suppose to be at the office at 8 but today I got there at 13 with a wrap full of paper and I guy said to me "did much shipping today? Is it hot out there?"
I use that all the time
I’ve said #9 quite a few times.
*Ok, George.. it's you" "You're damn right it's me!" 😆😆
Character for posterity- one of the all time best written characters. Genius is an understatement 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
"a George divided against itself cannot stand" 😅😅 superb
By far the best show ever.
Bryan Carlos
Best American sitcom ever, for sure
It's not even close to a show like The Sopranos. It's not even the best sitcom.
😕King of Queens, Everybody loveses Raymond.
@@moniqueuu8777 not even close
All are idiots, and all r in denial. The best Sitcom that there ever was, there ever will be.
We all wish we were Kramer, but we all know we're really George.
One of the greatest sitcom characters ever!!
George was ALWAYS ALWAYS my favorite and Jason Alexander is a fantastic guy.
George started out very whiny woody allenish and then developed that character into one of the best of all time , just brilliant !
when he said "y'know we're living in a society" I felt that
Yeah I've had days were I felt like George.
Actionfan19 haven't we all???
Actionfan19 yeah every day
"But i am disturbed! I'm depressed, i'm inadequate... I've got it all!!" 😂😂😂
"Yeah, like I don't know I'm pathetic!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love these people, you can’t ask them questions. They’re so mentally gifted that you mustn’t disturb the delicate genius unless it’s the confines of an office. When huge sums of money are involved, the genius can be disturbed.
true that
"We get a few of these pig-men walking around and suddenly I'm looking a lot better."
"Then if someone wants to fix me up, they can say at least he's no pig-man."
LOL
DANA: I thought you didn't believe in God?
GEORGE: I do for the bad things.
The way he swayed his hips when he said "BIIIGG SALAD" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Michael Halabi The messed up part is, that whole exchange was based on a real conversation Larry David had
It's the kung pao.. George likes his chicken spicey. You're turning into Jimmy! Greatest show ever!!
I miss Seinfield :')
You mean Seinfeld
This show inspired an entire generation of tv writers and actors. Try to imagine It's Always Sunny without the influence of Seinfeld, impossible.
You know, I never noticed his strong New York accent until today.
By far my favourite:
"How do you live with yourself?"
George: "It's not easy."
#9 might be the greatest thing ever said
Great job but you left out my favorite:
Susan: Oh my god, the cabin's on fire!
George: I just realized, you never gave me the change from the toll back there.
THAT'S George Costanza!
In a hundred years, this show will still be funny.
....believe it or not George isn't at home, leeeava message at the tone,I must be out or i'd pick up the phone, where could I be?- I sing this everywhere now!!!!!!!!!!
"I was in a pool"....lol!!!!🤣😁
Merry Christmas Next of Ken

JACQUELINE Di MATTIA lol this happened to me once 😂🤣
I always sympathized with the Big Salad incident.
The looking annoyed thing actually works, especially at the mall when passing those kiosks with those sales sharks...
Best 7 minutes of my life
I've watched this show twice It's my favorite.
Only twice?
Twice!? 30 times each one, at least.
Excellent compilation. 34, 33, 26, 10, 9, 6 and especially 23 are all me. Three great ones are missing...."I'd rather have her hate me and think I was good looking!' .....fighting for the parking spot with Mike Moffit, and lamenting over "not going up for coffee."
One of my favourite Costanza lines is in "The Frogger" - "Why must there always be a problem?" Pretty much sums up the whole show.
we all know that Twix is the only one with the cookie crunch!
WorstCaseOntario no no coconut
one of your uhh mechanics Kip or ned, something with 3 letters
Michael Caldwell alright I'll get you a mounds bar
Frank TWIIIIIIIIIIXXXXX!!!
Elaine: did any of you hear that
Putty: aww yeah there’s a mental hospital a few blocks away from here..
Michael Collings is it the left one or the right one with the cookie crunch?
George was the most underrated aspect of that show...my favorite character. They were all funny, but Kramer was too nutty and Jerry was too normal. George seemed to connect to the everyman.
jokerswildio Exactly!
Actually he's highly rated
Jerry wasnt too normal. Hes too high strung.
But I think Jerry also connects with the everyman as well.
So many to choose from, one of my favorites is still, "You don't have to worry about me, I won a contest."
I relate to George more than I care to admit.
"I must be liked!" Well, don't forget to thumbs up and subscribe...
"The sea was angry that day, my friends."
"But I'm disturbed! I'm depressed! I'm inadequate! I've got it all!"
for some context the hamptons line was after george lied to susan's parents (the old couple) by saying he had a house in the hamptons, and they knew he was lying but wanted to see how far he would go with it. he drove them to the beach and admitted he made it up finally
Everything from JAKUB's ladder to Seinfeld..... this guy is absolutely awesome 🤗
I like to think that during his time in prison at the end of the series, he actually took the time to become an architect.
Honestly Seinfeld is one of my favorite collections of art of all time. Such a great show full of classic moments like these.
My all time favorite and relatable George quote is “when I like them, they don’t like me and when they like me, I don’t like them!” Describes my dating life perfectly lol. 😂😅
To me, Jason Alexander felt like the ONLY one who was seriously acting and performing with all his heart and spirit.
The rest feel like they're just playing fictional versions of themselves (and in the cases of some, that's actually true). George is easily the best and greatest character from the show, I cannot imagine Seinfeld without him.
JLD did an amazing job as Elaine as well, but I agree that Jason was the best.
Love Seinfeld!!!
Got to love the sein!!!!!
George Constanza is one of the most marvelous characters ever. And brilliant acting needless to say.
