Jerry was funny, but Jason's character was hilarious, and much more believable than anyone else, in my opinion. Can't believe Jason never won an Emmy for his character? Biggest oversight, in Emmy History!! SMH........😒
Jerry was honestly hysterically funny. All four of them were hilarious! But still nobody not even Kramer could compete with the legendary hilarity that was Jason Alexander as George Costanza.
I watched Seinfeld as a teen when it was on TV. I recently re-watched the entire series online and it was only then that I had the sharp realization that 'Seinfeld' was actually all about George; the insecurities, the weirdness of being a social human. All wrapped up in one character and the center point basis of the entire show.
Jason Alexander deserves to be in the same sentence as the legends of the screen. This role will go down in history as THE most memorable character to ever be seen on a television set.
George as a main character was so good. His acting skills cannot be denied. His parents on the show were also top notch. And Wayne Knight who did a lot of cameos as Newman is equal to them. Everyone on that show was good to be honest. There was not a weak link.
I don't think I appreciated Mr. Alexander's talent enough back then. Watching Larry David, as talented as he is, portray George made it clear that Jason Alexander was/is a comedy genius.
I remember the first time I saw George telling the story about the whale he saved when he was pretending to be a marine biologist. I fell off the couch I was sitting on with laughter
This montage is a good presentation as to why Alexander is the one that held this series together. His character/acting was the glue around which the show was fused. "Your killing independent George"!

And he was right. He gets like 400 million a year of this show. I hear he's not the easiest to work with.
@@demonalivefornow9680 I agree. Seinfeld is something else, his confidence alone is charming
Jerry was funny, but Jason's character was hilarious, and much more believable than anyone else, in my opinion. Can't believe Jason never won an Emmy for his character? Biggest oversight, in Emmy History!! SMH........😒
@@keithbannister9271 I agree all and all
Jerry was honestly hysterically funny. All four of them were hilarious! But still nobody not even Kramer could compete with the legendary hilarity that was Jason Alexander as George Costanza.
Nothing beats this show. When I'm bored or depressed I watch an episode and I feel good again, it should be refunded by the national care!
best line of all "Hello I'm George. I'm Unemployed, and I live with my parents": ha ha try that line on some hot cutie sometime
He carried the show. Most relatable and funny character.
10:45 "You're not in the mood?...well you GET in the mood!!"
Love that line
George Costanza. Possibly the greatest of all time.
Kramer: "Well, I've got gonorrhea! That's what they gave me!"
George: "Who did? ....The government?"
Jason Alexander deserves to be in the same sentence as the legends of the screen. This role will go down in history as THE most memorable character to ever be seen on a television set.
How in God's name did Jason Alexander never win an Emmy for playing George? Madness.
He was always against David Hyde Pierce from Frasier.
@@sangredelic how many times did DHP win? They need to stop having the same people win in consecutive years. It's asinine.
George got shafted again
shoulda ended with "if you take everything i've ever accomplished in my entire life and condense it down into one day...it looks decent"
Absolutely agree with you. A classic George line.
George as a main character was so good. His acting skills cannot be denied. His parents on the show were also top notch. And Wayne Knight who did a lot of cameos as Newman is equal to them. Everyone on that show was good to be honest. There was not a weak link.
George is so much my favourite character that I can't believe he's not everyone's favourite character.
Elaine "wait, you're refusing to date someone because they're bald?"
George "yeah...so?"
Elaine "YOU'RE BALD!!!"
Neurotripsicks I WAS bald.
Andrew Hollins haha then he beeps her nose with his finger. Priceless.
not anymore
Andrew Hollins, I DON’T...LIKE THIS THING...AND THIS IS WHAT I’M DOING WITH IT!!(throws toupee out the window)
@@emmaray6215 Elaine is brilliant him that scene!
“Elaine, of course I’m concerned... I’M PAYING FOR THOSE MEALS!”
One of my all-time favorite George lines. "I pay what I say."
"I don't think I've ever been to an appointment in my life where I wanted the other guy to show up."
My _personal_ fav
I don't think I appreciated Mr. Alexander's talent enough back then. Watching Larry David, as talented as he is, portray George made it clear that Jason Alexander was/is a comedy genius.
The magic of Seinfeld is that every single character was genius unto him/herself.
I remember the first time I saw George telling the story about the whale he saved when he was pretending to be a marine biologist. I fell off the couch I was sitting on with laughter
When he pulls the ball out lol!
How do you sit on a couch with laughter?
This montage is a good presentation as to why Alexander is the one that held this series together. His character/acting was the glue around which the show was fused.
"Your killing independent George"!
If you ever feel bad about yourself, just watch George Costanza
It doesn't help
After all his mishaps he still gets these ridiculously good looking girls
best character on any show... ever xD
Wrong. Chandler from Friends is.
***** I definitely agree that Chandler is on the list of most annoying characters in TV history..
*****
your comment almost gave me cancer
lol. Fair enough.
travesty that he never garnared an Emmy for this character.
George Costanza and Jason Alexander are simply the greatest weve seen on TV ♥
Watching George is therapy 😊
George Costanza is my favorite- I laugh so hard my stomach hurts every time when I watch George!😂
