Watching the series of videos and the creator of the robot with his exuberance at nailing the little improvements struck a chord in me. I’m sold that this is the machine for me! I’m ordering today along with critical spare parts to keep it going just in case the company goes south at some point- which I hope it doesn’t.

With a pressurized Portafilter, with the nonpressurized that comes with it you won't have any luck. It's a good grinder, but it won't do espresso like you want it to. My Virtuosa+ also can't handle a consistent Espresso grind and dial into what you want with espresso, both make great french press, pour over, moka pot grinds and decent cold brew grinds, but it has it's limitations. I'd recommend the J-Pro by 1zpresso or JX-Max (fantastic handgrinders). The former has FAR more settings ( phenomenal for dialing in Espresso and grinding even finer (Turkish)) and the latter is a jack of all trades but does exceptionally well in fine grinding (Turkish/Espresso).
Oh geeze. I've been using my Robot for months now. I make 2 cappuccinos a day. I can't figure out how pull an espresso without it spraying everywhere. I use an RDT tool but I still can't get a single tail in the middle. Please help.
Spritzers are a classic case of channeling. There is plenty of info and tips regarding this on the various forums. It is usually a sign or prep issues, grind issues or grinder issues.

Anyone sitting on the fence? This will almost certainly exceed your expectations! Solid, tiny, tasty and built for a lifetime.
I'll second that.
Thanks much for these videos. As always, inspires confidence!
Thoroughly enjoying my new Robot
I’m 5 ft tall and 97 lbs. I stand on a stool to pull a shot. Do you have any advice for exerting more force when using the levers?
Is there a grinder you recommend?
Anyone else here who just ordered one and is now curious about the Robot's inner workings? :D
This is fantastic, I absolutely love this and want to know details of cost and where and when I can order one, please?
