Everything that you've found more expensive is that way because they're imported! They're not local products but Carrefour is actually one of the most affordable good supermarket and hypermarket chains. Maybe try of the locally sourced stuff or go to a bigger branch they should have the barista oat milk!

I love Dubai, it's so dope. My favourite holiday destination, would love to uproot there one day but I couldn't stand the heat lol. The cost of living is expensive, however. I guess that's the compromise you have to accept when you're not taxed on your salary.
