I think that with internet today , everyone feels the urge to live alone. Todays generation has been pampered so much with less physical work thanks to automatic washing machines, vacuum cleaners etc and cooked food so easily available in restaurants that no one now wants to live as a family. Its a big change and something which will defintely impact the future of the happy family that we now know. Here, you have a ready family and still you want to move out as the freedom to live alone, experiment , party is more than everything. You think it will be for few months or year , but I will tell you upfront that you will never be satisfied with any one else as once you live alone then you can never adjust with anybody.
Since you’ve not replied, let me address your comment. 1. “Today’s generation has been pampered…”. Pampered? Advancement in technology is meant to make your life easier. What’s wrong in that? Why are you glorifying manual labour? Do you not use washing machines? Are you still adamant on hand-washing clothes? Why do you want to make a hard life sound rewarding? 2. “…party more than anyone.” Funny that I didn’t even mention that anywhere? 3. “You will never be satisfied with anyone else.” I believe that is the point sir. The fact that many women do not know how to live alone and fend for something *is* the reason they stay in toxic relationships, abusive marriages and so on. Women NEED this period of individuality so that when they marry old-fashioned traditional people like you, they’re not scared of cutting it off to live alone. I rather thrive living alone than be stuck living with a man. Off to party now xx
Id advise you delete this comment, its a ridiculous comment. Just because you live alone doesnt mean you can't adjust when with other people in the future, everyone needs to have a period where they have the space and time to learn about themselves so they can perform better for themselves and have better experiences with themselves and with others.
I’ve moved out from my toxic family’s house when I was 20 to share apartment with friends and I’ve been officially living on my own since I was 21. When you finally have a place to call “home”, where you can truly rest and relax it’s hard to let yourself fall in a toxic situation again. It’s rewarding to be able to learn to take care of yourself, take care of your finances, to truly be responsible and to learn to respect your own boundaries. You don’t have to accept strangers or people you dislike into your house anymore, you don’t get yelled at for not cleaning something you didn’t mess up… it’s like HEAVEN. Everyone should be able to do that, especially women.
Wasn’t too long, wish we could listen to you forever. I found wisdom in all you said. Grateful to hear so many new things. Hoping you’ll be more consistent as we subscribe. Light!
So your total expenses are £800 per month! That’s nothing! So why do people keep on saying that it’s expensive to live in Dubai? In London, £800 will not even cover. Thanks for sharing all these infos with
I cannot stress on how much I’ve fallen in love w your videos!! You making the whole “finding yourself journey” soo beautiful! And being soooo transparent about the costs and other aspects of moving into an apartment in Dubai, and giving us a clear picture is a HUGE thing! Thank you for being who you are and for sharing your story! I hope, wish and pray that you reach all your milestones, the big and the small, I hope you’re surrounded w people who celebrate you and genuinely love and care for you. You’re doing such an amazing job, and I’m rooting for you from afar!! Sending you love from India, and a lot more love from someone whose dream is to live in the UAE haha! A really helpful video!💗💗💗
Good for you! I lived alone for 5 years even when I was in a long term relationship. It was a very important time in my life where I learned what works for me, what my boundaries are and just truly have that special time where you can get to know yourself.
I just found your channel today ❤🥺and I’m binge watching all your videos! You’re doing amazing 😍I’ve never been more proud of a complete stranger in my whole life!!! You go girl🎉! As a recent 24 year old, you have no idea how inspiring it is to watch a young woman live independently, thrive and enjoy her life on her own terms! May this new chapter be filled with joy, happiness , peace and prosperity!! Rooting for you! All the way from South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤
I love the fact that you pointed out that we should also celebrate living alone, I badly wanted to do it but due to some reasons i couldn't. Im very greatful for the family and life I have but sometimes I just imagine how it would have been to stay alone before the marriage and a child. And it also help us to understand if we have to stay or leave, when we are in an abusive or toxic relationship. Glad that i stumbled upon your video ❤
I just spent 2 hours crying cuz I’m moving there soon and idk what to do about the stay. I have a similar budget to yours but I haven’t had any good leads but seeing your explanation of the division of cheques helped a LOT. Until now I’d been looking at rent as what’s cheap monthly. But realizing the 6 cheques is better brought me SOME peace for sure. Thanks a lot for making this video
Love this!! Completely agree about being alone and enjoying one’s own company. Especially when we’re constantly around people and end up getting overstimulated😅 It’s truly one thing I value so much in my 20s :’)
good. you will never tire of living alone. as women, we are expected to bend and twist to suit everyone else. You are right when you say "we are individuals"! Yes, we are human, and have likes and dislikes and the right to feel able to express ourselves and feel comfortable and at peace in our own homes. So often, men dominate these spaces and we find ourselves adjusting to their realities. To have a space, one's home, to be wholely ones self without compromise is not "lucky" or "a gift", it's our right. As Virginia Wolf rightly says... "A room of one's own". All the best to you
"I've been seriously contemplating the idea of relocating to Dubai. In fact, I've had the chance to spend a fantastic four-month period there, which made me strongly consider it as my second home. I LOVED this entire video SO much! I’m a 26 year old from an African family but born and raised in the States and THIS video was very inspirational…especially after being advised to move to Dubai for work. Thank you for sharing your story🥹BIG PROPS TO YOU, GIRL!👏🏾👏🏾✨✨
You are right...living alone is very important to build connection with SELF. People have forgotten to love themselves, so the world has so many life coaches now. I agree with you ...ALL THE BEST this is the best phase of your life. Learn, unlearn and relearn ❤❤❤❤
Moving out to live alone when I turned 20 was the best decision and unlike the boomer in the comment section- my mum actually supported the decision because as she said "you need to learn how the world works". I did learn a lot on how the adult life works, responsibilities, and it helped me organize my finance, bills, documents, and uni classes effectively, and I'm smarter with my money too. When I first moved out, I started by moving in with a friend's friend, and that taught me a lot.
Thank you for sharing your journey Twinkle! I just like you live away from my family in the UAE and I often contemplate the amount of money I could save by living with them. But living alone has made me self-sufficient and I believe that's more important in the long term than any money I could save in the short term. Also I completely agree that it's therapeutic to have your own space where you can be yourself
Thank you for sharing your experience, im 24 almost 25 “single” but im looking forward to live alone and just get to know me better, you gave me hope and safety to do it soon 💜💜
Seeing you being happy and content and doing what you want to do makes me immensely happy. I also want the same settings for me but I guess everyone has different "right time". I want to experience that alone time but for sure I know that's not going to happen to me so easily. Still hoping because hope keeps us alive.
Currently debating a move myself and have been going back and forth on that decision. I watched your entire video and found it to be very inspiring and insightful. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Dear twinkle.. I'm also a mother of a 11yr old daughter who has teenager friends at this age and is very outgoing and social.. She's also under the influence of western culture and the latest sensation k-pop, bts and blackpink. I stay in al nahda sharjah, for he past 10yrs in uae and planning to stay forever here.. Looking at your video today I saw my daughter in you who would also grow up to start living alone or with her friends in Dubai maybe.. I admire your guts dear child bcoz I think I saw an Indian girl for the first time in uae who is bought up in uae and ventured out to stay alone in uae itself.. My best wishes to you and btw you look just like my daughters teenaged friend Michelle.. She's also adorable like you..

Thank you! This video has been so much helpful and honest! Would you recommend Dubai as place to live? You did so good anyway to leave by yourself and don’t make anyone else happy apart from yourself 💪🏼 strong woman such an inspiration.

Wow this is very insightful. I had this misconception that living in dubai would be much more expensive. But I'm impressed that your food expenses are so low! it can be 200 usd per week alone and thats your whole month. Maybe you have shopping tips in dubai? haha
electricity is so cheap when comparing with Belgium. We have here 2400dhs aed per month for electricity and gas for heating... (4p). it's like a little rent. With mortgage around 4500dhs. it's 7000dhs aed per month in belgium for our house.
Hey Twinkle! Was wondering if yours was an unfurnished or furnished space. I’m just on my hunt to find an apartment for myself as I’m moving from India to Dubai. This particular video of yours makes me so excited to have my personal space.
Hey liked the way you explained things, since you have lived in sharjah, can you advise there schools of your choice ?. I am doing some ground level work before make a move. And did I tell you, you are very pretty 😊

I can't thank you enough for this informative video. It really helped me get a sense of what I should be looking before renting out an apartment in Dubai. Looking forward to more informative videos like these on your channel. Thank's a ton!
I know this video is a year old, but I would really like to know where to find a studio appartment in Dubai for 28k..I only came across studios in international city in that range
Hey twinkle! I love your content🫶🏻 I am a student in dubai and currently living in a student accommodation for 35k aed for 6 months which is super expensive. can you please mention the potential locations where i can look for a cheaper studio apartments?
Can someone help please? She doesn’t say which agency or realtor helped her find the 28K apartment in JVC. And I’m pretty sure most of us would love finding something in that price range. So if anybody has contacts, please reply below this comments to help others. Thanks.
Hey, just a quick question. What would be considered a good earning in dubai? Is 20k AED good amount or no to live as a bachelor? Also, considering that someone wants to save 50% of their money atleast. What all to keep in mind if someone is moving from India? How much to save have in account before moving there? Would appreciate your thoughts.
Lol who earns that amount.. unless u r an experienced bank manager or have a high status with experiences. Beginners start with 3k dirhem and some even earn way less than that. Everyone lives in partition. Being a worker with salary isn't a good way of life in Dubai. Plus it's ugly no outing since its very hot also if u think u can still do activities etc.. then u have to waste money over it cuz all indoor activities cost alot. A simple eating in a restaurant costs 100 dirhem. So basically people can't save much honestly and live with no activities.. share rooms etc

Hello! How did you find the flat. Is it a studio?
