I got the same surgery but I got afraid because is too much faster to loose weight 😬😬

Every body is different, usually a patient can expect to lose 80% excess fat with sleeve within a year and a half. Around 10-12 months is when you see most weight loss so it is gradually within the months leading up to it.

@@lolahernandez6871 no I got the bypass. I wish I got the sleeve. :(. I have pcos as well and after years of not be able to lose weight after my daughter my dr suggested I get it done. I don’t have high cholesterol or a fatty liver anymore. It’s just very hard to live this way, even with a good diet and exercising everyday and running with my dog. I just want people to really think before they get this surgery done because I don’t want anyone to end up like me. I do know people who have had this surgery and don’t suffer from nearly as much things as me so this is why I say everybody’s body is different. I was on cloud nine for like 2 years. I had lost 100 pounds and had so much energy. It was at the 3rd year mark that my body started to not work so well ….

@Selflove_1 I'm waiting for a surgery date and I did so much researches before getting into it. My surgeon asked me what surgery I wanted and I am going with the sleeve BECAUSE my body will likely absorb more nutrients than with the bypass. Yes I might not lose as much weight but hey, if I'm healthier, I'm happy. Sorry to hear about your situation.❤️❤️

      Impossible.
Just eat only as much as a bariatric patient is able/does and the lbs will melt off.

@@greedo-diedforusall It's important to note that the bariatric diet is specifically designed for individuals who have undergone bariatric surgery or are under the guidance of a healthcare professional for weight management. If you haven't undergone the surgery or aren't advised by a healthcare provider, following the bariatric diet may not be suitable for your health needs. It's always best to consult with a medical professional before making significant changes to your diet or lifestyle.
