Migraine and meniere's patient here too... I finally made it through my prep this year too and got my first colonoscopy with no major issues. I'd tried twice before and couldn't get through the prep without vomiting it all up. I was just in a much worse place with my vertigo and nausea and therefore my tummy just couldn't take it. So waited until I was having a much better spell to try again and I did it! I was so happy to get through it and now that I did I have a better idea of what state I need to be in migraine and Meniere's wise, so that's helpful. I know your Meniere's is significantly more severe than mine Kelly... so I don't know how you did it... happy for you because it really is such an important test to know that we can get through for both preventative and if we should ever need to for any problem in the future!!
You know- there are people who don't have our chronic health issues who vomit it up, so I think it is hard no matter what sometimes. And certain brainds seem to be worse than others. I'm thrilled for you that you got through the prep this year after testing to see what state your body needed to be in. Well done for trying again! As you said, it's such an important preventative test! Happy to see you/hear from you!!
Prayers the outcome is all good. I had to laugh when you said you couldn’t drive. It was so good to see you laugh, it’s one way to get through the tough times. Sending Love 💗 Hugs 🤗 and lots of prayers 🙏 Your Prayer Warrior Helen
As a bright UA-cam creator is known to say with regularity: You are not alone. I feel a bit guilty, but I giggled a time or two. (This should be required watching for all who have to ingest the prep, plus the makers of the stuff!) PS: Made a long comment on your 10/13 video. 🤗
Thank you!! That means so much to hear. And I'm glad you laughed. I laughed watching it back! Yes! the makers of the stuff should have to watch ppl try to get the prep down.
its 3 AM for me and I had my second dose, tomorow I am having colonoscopy and endoscopy, I watching you to feel less scared, thank you so much for sharing ❤
Im absolutely terrified of this prep 😭😭😭 please help me i have a massive fear of nausea and vomiting and when i had moviprep 8 years ago i was sick and i have flashbacks. Im having bowel surgery soon and will be doing this prep and i am so so scared 😭
Hi - I would make sure you've told your doctor of your concern about the prep and ask them if there is an option that has the least chance for nausea and vomiting. I"d also ask them if there is something you can take to ease your symptoms. I always feel better when I have a plan - so don't hesitate to call your doctor's office and express this to them. I'm sorry you need to have bowel surgery. I'm rooting for you. Please keep me updated.
Ahg... I never had a colonoscopy but stomag and colon issues run in my famely. So many nights i need a medical drink like that. I dont know what its called but it is Macogrol & Electrolytes. And that tastes weirdly sweet to and not a good sweet 😉. My issues may also come from my genetic disorder. The docktors see a increased number of patience dealing with consipation from young age. Hope your examination whas going well. Hugs Marloes ❤️
@@ginnyvibes it is a good idea to discuss it with your surgeon or prescribing doctor. My doctor gave it to me. However, I think there are some people who have had problems with it. This is the same with all medications I suppose. Humans are all different. I was just glad I’ve never had to drink a large quantity of stuff.

You’ve got this! In my opinion, you’ve done the hardest part- the prep. Best of luck!! Rooting for you! ❤️
❤️ waiting another 6 hours until my procedure start, I stayed up all night
I hope it went well! Thinking ofyou.
The best is : take a sip of apple juice and than a sip of pleinveu … repeat it 👍🏻that is was helping me at the moment
I had that same brand prep and I couldn't do it lol- I ended up just going and buying a bunch of miralax and Gatorade.
Thank you for letting me know I'm not the only one who struggled with it! It was horrid. Next time, I'm gonna ask my dr if I can do the miralax route.

@IncredibleAnyway oh wow thank you so much for replying!
My go lightly was lemon flavor.
How was the lemon?

Oh constipation is rough. I'm sorry you have to drink that drink that tastes so nasty!
I’ve learned that if you don’t laugh you’ll cry !! 3:10
I just did this prep a month ago. Think I'll go back to Clenpiq next time. It was gross!
It was so gross. I'm not familiar with Clenpiq- is it flavored?
@@IncredibleAnyway Supposedly it's raspberry flavored.
@@elizabethbest6992 Thank you! I’ll ask about it next time.
I'm on the more frequent colonoscopy path too, will check back to this the next time I have to drink the vile liquid!
Picolax may be better. It is Less volume. I had a meter of colon removed and I use picolax for ostomy blockages
I will check that out. My last one was reduced in quantity too but looked like more than what Kelly was drinking.

You look like you are doing better
Thank you! I am!
I find it easier to just keep gulping it down very fast. . Swallow, swallow, swallow Les chances to taste. But that’s just me.
I agree! Gulping is the way.
I was never a drinker - i really hate the taste of alcohol but this feeels like what a shot would taste like - just really foul 😮 11:17
I've never had a shot, but from seeing people having had one, it definitely looks like that!
I can never drink all of the prep without vomiting 🤮
I’m so sorry- it is terrible.
Try drinking with a straw. It works better.
I tried it and it wasn't better for me! But I'm glad it is for you.
They have pills now call sutab.
