I won both a 27 year old Rolex Datejust and a recently acquired Pagani exactly like this one only in S/S. So far, I am VERY impressed with the Pagani. It's running about +4 secs/day, has already weathered quite a few hot showers, and a couple of bangs against things with no issues. Time will tell, but I gotta say, it's a lot of bang for the buck. It's kind of nice to not worry about ruining what would be a $10,000 watch new. Call me cheap, call me frugal... as much as I love my Rolex, at current price levels, I'll never buy another one (unless I win the lottery, lol)
Hey Jody, I had similar issues with a Pagani GMT and got on to Pagani, they were happy for me to send the watch back and replace, and even paid most of the shipping cost!
@@waris3732 I just sent them proof of the issues and offered to return it rather than just request a refund, provided they covered shipping, and all good!
FYI there are 3 micro adjustments inside the clasp where the extension is. You push the spring pin and adjust the extension up or down. I've found this gives me the perfect fit. Notice there are small circular divots above the extension on the inside of the clasp!
I adore my Hulk pd1650 and wear it often. I just got my Zolos Swordfish black sand dial in last night , and fitted the bracelet and wearing it today. I have the stainless steel version of this. I like the watch and it gets a lot of compliments. I have had a few issues with mine though, worst of these issues is the fact I can not change the date anymore (this happened at about six months). The other weird thing is the screwed links can unscrew, which has happened while wearing the watch a few times. The clasp too was so sharp edged and unpleasant, I ended up using a file to make the edges smoother. But I still like the watch, wear it almost everyday!
@@GP-jx3ex That's why i prefer pins, at least in the cheap chinese watches, because screws is a lottery. I don't wanna fear that my watch will take a fall out of the blue...
I always put a little dab of blue Loctite on the screws of cheaper watches (and knives) when I receive them. I've had too many screws come out in the past, even from "better" brands. You have to unscrew each screw one at a time, put the Loctite on the threads, and screw them back in. The Loctite keeps them from working loose, but can still be unscrewed if needed.
Jody have you looked into Festina watches? I bought a couple (F-20445-1 and F-20461-2) for $80 and $56 respectively. Both use Miyota quartz movements and the crown screw down action on the F-20461-2 is superb. Certainly much better and smoother than my Invicta Pro Divers. The F20445-1 has a push crown. Just one qualm though: the 20445-1 is a hair puller, but it looks sharp.

@@FOURTEEFIVE are you ever in a situation where you need it to last longer than a minute or two? Like do you actually dive with your watch? Serious question
Mmm very nice. I share the same concern about brassing on the case side/crown/ bezel over time from handwinding. 40mm is still too big for my 6.5" wrist, and if the Pagani fits like other Chinese-made homage, the edges & corners of the clasp are going to cut everything they brush into. Which is probably why I'll stick with my "inferior" Invicta 28732: gold-plated SS, 38mm case, Seiko quartz movt (for the accuracy & no need to handwind/risk perpetual brassing). But good review! I'm glad there are still companies putting out gold-plated homages since $50k is a steep price to pay for a fashion accent.

Puts that Rotary diver to shame for 1/3 the price. My rule 1 is never buy a fake gold watch. Looks amazing in stainless. Mine has been in the winder for a couple three months and the Seiko movement is still on the money.
For the same price or even less (I got mine for $55) you can also get an Invicta Pro Diver automatic on Amazon occasionally when they are on sale. Although they copy the 5 Rolex case design it is IMO a better value because you also get the 2 year Amazon warranty.
As long as you can live with the logo engraved on the side. Otherwise the Pagani is a great way for a gold-plated sub minus over-the-top logo engravings
Jody, you're a bad influence lol. I just bought one of these after your other Pagani video. Pleasantly surprised, though my crown is really screwy. After pulling it out, when I push it back in it springs back out unless I push really hard on it. I'm guessing they didn't install the stem completely right - it does work in each position but when setting the time it acts up. I dunno, anyone else who had a Pagani with an issue have any recommendation? I just received it yesterday so not sure if they'll ask me to ship it back (seems like it will be ages before I get it back if I do).
Pagani almost always punches above its own weight. Maybe you give that to Mr X? And damn. Those watches look clean, sir! Plus the fact that they're spec monsters as you said. Ever since I got a pagani, I can't justify spending >100 USD for a subby homage. Makes a great beater too.
Just a suggestion, but for these Chinese dive watches, you should do waterproof test. Thanks for introducing the brand to me!
I just got a 10k gold-filled Hamilton Railroad pocket watch made in 1940 with the new and improved 992b movement. I'm bringing them back. You should get in on it.
The value of those Pagani Design homages looks great. However, I'd rather pay a couple of bucks more to get a watch without the issues mentioned in the video. I'd like to see a comparison with other chinese brands like Lige. They also makes submariner homages with the same price range and specs that Pagani Design offers.
At the $75 price point..Guanqin or Pagana for a submariner homage? Both have same specs I think.. I know Guanqin has the typo but which is the better watch?
I have the gold n blue. Just the cheap bling I was after. Is it possible that the “solid” links are hollow? I know they’re not folded but they really don’t weigh much at all compared with links from other watches, so I don’t know how they can be solid.
my one major complaint on this one is the coining on the bezel isnt real "deep" or as pronounced as the watch its homaging. Im all in on deep bezel coining when it comes to these chinese homages. San Martin seems to have gotten it right on theirs.
The blue looks kinda good but the contrast with the gold is just a tad too harsh for my eyes. What are your thoughts on the black and gold Pagani Daytonas?
Hi,Jody. Very good value watches. Could you tell me what amplitude is on your timegrapher please? Best regards from Adrian in Sheffield South Yorkshire England 😀😺

At the $75 price point..Guanqin or Pagana for a submariner homage? Both have same specs I think.. I know Guanqin has the typo but which is the better watch?
Have a couple Pagani D . Not gold ,just not my taste, but quality is of a high level , following the brand about 7 years , was never disappointed.
Jody, is this kind of gold watches polishable?!
Hello ! Will you review the new 42 mm CadisOak? :)
Augustin - Yes!
How do you get them delivered within 19 billion months? My GMT left China mid August, I think someone is rowing his merry way to Perth with it.
Probs premium shipping.
You have to use DHL or EMS. China Post often takes 6-8 weeks.
Mine arrived in Perth 5 weeks! DHL only next time...
Great video, but (sorry mate) your link to the GOLD Pagani doesn't work. Can you give us the precise link so that we can tell them Jody sent us 😉
Look amazing for the price. I wonder how long that gold plating will hold up?
Nice video Jodi. Consider having a look at Phylida next time you are browsing aliexpress. They seem to have quite a few decent looking homage watches.
that's why i sold my gmt was only 8k aud back then , but not align bezel is bad i feel you, got from hourglass sold for 10k after 2years oversea
This would be a great prop for filming mafia skits or something
thanks, my only worries is the lume pip to fall, coz i do have similer experience
The blue looks kinda good but the contrast with the gold is just a tad too harsh for my eyes.
What are your thoughts on the black and gold Pagani Daytonas?
how long before the plating or rather coating starts to rub off..
all brushed maybe, how much would the seiko movement cost to fit inside of 70 big ones
nice. wearig one would make you feel like a billion dollar oil king
Hello, since you've bought the watch and until now, has the gold plating starts to rub off or fade off ? any discoloration issue ?
I am thinking to buy this pagani, only one question.. how real it looks comparing a 18k rolex? Really seems to be of gold ?
Damn I bought this last week and was disappointed how unrealistic the gold colour was, wish this video came out sooner 😂
Hi,Jody. Very good value watches. Could you tell me what amplitude is on your timegrapher please? Best regards from Adrian in Sheffield South Yorkshire England 😀😺
I'm in Australia like you. Is it reliable to order from that Ali express you cited? Any import to pay? Are the metal braclets hard to get off to put a NATO strap? ( I prefer NATO, though I know you're not a fan). Thanks. Great channel. ( Always take advice from a Scot. No one better :-) )
Love that shirt. Though, we are now on fire here in Oregon...
Nice watches for the price I too like the black and gold, shame they didn’t do a bronze and blue one. I line up bezels with a cheap laser levelling light and they are spot on, shame manufactures don’t do the same lol
I just got a Pagani Daytona Two-Tone, damn it is heavy and GORGEOUS!!!!! I wear it to work as it tells perect time!!
