66 year old male, 3 years carnivore and about 15 health issues disappeared. Feel bloody fantastic. Lost 50 lbs. It’s actually unbelievable when I think about it. I’m carnivore for life now - will never change it.
I'm the same way, and I don't even have those carb cravings or sugar cravings I used to have a month ago or so. I've only been on it for a couple of months, but already see my body changing for the better. What's crazy is that I tried eating an apple the other day as a quick snack and I felt like all I tasted was pesticides & chemicals. I couldn't even finish it, which is a first for me. My body's changing, but apparently, so are my taste buds. My body's no longer going after or requiring these sugars or carbs and my energy and joints feel great!
I’m 60. Just started carnivore a little over two months ago. A life-long depression is gone. Working with Dr to slowly get off of the antidepressant I’m taking. Energy is off the charts! My gut stopped hurting. Losing weight has been the icing on the cake. As far as plants go, I’ll just look at them. 😃
OH YAY! This is so amazing to read! Thank you for sharing! I'm not sure if you saw the video I create with all the testimonials yet, but it reminds me of you and I think you would enjoy it :) Thanks for writing this for others to read and be inspired! ua-cam.com/video/GDOcmc5lURk/v-deo.html
As a retired physician, I must agree with your guest, physicians are totally unable to think critically! If you ever wondered why residency training is designed to be stressful and incredibly sleep deprived, it’s because it’s brain washing! The residency experience is so profound that it may take an entire career to undo…or never! POW camps have used similar techniques for the same results.
Darn...it makes me sad to read this. My partner is in school to become a chiropractic doctor right now and experiences similar misinformation being taught. Thank you for putting this out there for others to read and see more truth. I have hope for a brighter future :) Hope you have a happy weekend!
I was just thinking yesterday about WHY are Doctors and staff subjected to the crazy residency thing. And I thought too that it must be some kind of mind control. Lol
Modern medicine. .goes against the "Hippocratic Oath". And...the 99%, don't even realize this fact. If your physician...believes in the Food Pyramid....RUN AWAY...AND FAST!
As a current pathology resident in an ACGME approved ... I can not agree more. I realized keto back in 2012 just reviewing biochemistry, felt amazing and so sharp. Now I am on just high quality meet and animal fat diet for 2 weeks. feels amazing.
IM GONNA DO A CARTWHEEL ONE DAY SOON! I'm 322lbs today. My heaviest was 427. I am 38 lbs down from 360lbs in 46 days! I may even want to do a back flip one day too
I'm 73 and a carnivor. I have the body I had when I was in boot camp in my 20s. I feel 35 again. My energy level is sky high. I'm in the process of trying Dr. Lisa's great recipes. She is an inspiration. Thank you.
@@maisie6904 Great!! My energy level is through the roof. It's hard to believe isn't it? I thought I was just getting old an tired. I found out I was just eating poison my whole life.
Turning 60 this year and a handstand is my goal this year!! Carnivore for 2 months now! It’s all about learning how to treat ourselves without food. How to celebrate without food! We are such a food centric society! As an Italian American I’ve said food is love…re-learning so many things!!
5 years carnivore for me. I wish I never ate a plant in my life. Would have saved me millions of dollars in healthcare alone. Heck I dont even need a doctor. I just go to my GP to brag about my health. Im 66 feel 36 and looking to live to 106.
I have been vegan and vegetarian for over 4 years. Today is my 4th day doing a carnivore/keto diet. I originally discovered this diet through Jordan Peterson. I have thought about meat prior. My body was subconsciously craving some fried liver. The same dish my mom would make as I was growing up. Little did I know how nutritious it was! I decided to try the diet due to my eczema, and low energy. Many people I read found success. So I put my ideal aside and wanted to TEST the hypothesis. WOW. The very first morning I woke up after having my carnivore diet... I woke up with ENERGY. I did not need a coffee and 1 hour to 'get myself going'. It's probably been since I was a teenager I felt like that. I felt 'full' until lunch and had another serving. The following 3 days I felt better and better. I slept better. Energy up. Focus up. My eczema is slowly less aggrivated. I am mentally scared though. This diet is all fat and protein, so I am "concerned" due to being indoctrinated about the 'healthy' diet. But it's hard to deny how I feel.
At least you are wise enough to see that we are being lied to. There is no money in being healthy. Keep going and remind yourself of the lies. Fight back.
I’m 55 & my eye doc is amazed by the fact that my vision has improved. I only wear glasses for driving now. Yet, she still bills out the visit as a Diabetic Eye Exam despite my fasting glucose being in the 80s. Discouraging.
I’ve been on mostly carnivore for four days. I had the best pain free sleep last night for the first time in years. My breathing rate was lower than when awake for the first time. No snoring, I’m less bloated. I’m hoping this continues. 🤞
Loved this. Sorry it took me so long to see it. Love 50's, 60's and 70+ carnivore testimonials. I'm 73, been carnivore for about 4 years after being keto and ketovore for about 12 years. I'm also hard in to weight training and have been for awhile. Never been on any meds; feel like I'm back in my 30's and 40's. Love your channel.
''When you get hungry enough, a steak tastes really good'' I felt that!! And it's not just the taste. You literally feel like your body is screaming ''thank you!!'' I've never enjoyed meals as much as i do now. Whenever people ask if it's boring to eat the same thing every day, it reminds me that they probably don't get that same feeling on a regular diet.
I’ve been on a journey from carb addiction to a Keto/carnivore lifestyle. So pleased to inform you I have regained my health AND my teenage waistline - at 56 I feel like I’m in my thirties and have a 32 inch waist and a BMI less than 25.
OMG! Thank you so much for writing this and sharing the good news! It's absolutely incredible how the power of food can change our lives. Thank you again for putting this out there for others to read and be inspired! :D
I was vegan 7 years and just went Carnivore a month ago due to some health issues. I feel so much better eating carnivore, my body is loving the beef😊 currently struggling with weight gain, but know my body is adjusting & healing. Grateful for these awesome interviews!
My partner was vegan for a few years and had to find an alternative way of eating to heal with some health issues as well. Good luck with your health journey and keep me in the loop on how things are going for you 😊❤️
@@commonsense5188 The only negatives I've experienced, prior to Carnivore, I was Ketovore for one month and my sleep improved immensely. When I started Carnivore, my belly got really big (maybe I wasn't digesting protein well?) + I was pissing like a race horse & waking up 4-5x at night, so my sleep was horrible, I woke up groggy and was about to quit. But I watched Dr. Mindy Pelz on Gut Health & Liver health, did a Bone Broth fast for a week, then immediately started doing a Liver Cleanse. I have been fasting this week and sleeping better, but now binge-watching Maria Emmerich PSMF vids & will start doing that come next week. Not sure why I was urinating so much, but I stopped adding salt in my water/food & I feel great, sleep is improving.
@@marcobaraco3000, I'm so happy for you that veganism works for your body!! 🎉 Re: your keto/carnivore struggles, pretty sure you weren't eating enough healthy fats. 👍
How do you do 97% carnivore? I still omnivore but am really interested in making the transition. 97% sounds workable to get me there - just wondering the breakdown of that
So the cartwheel thing got me. When I was a kid I cartwheeled everywhere, LOL. We'd walk through the mall and I would cartwheel through the mall. I was kind of obsessed. I could still do them into my early 30s, but I think I tried one again in my early 40s and everything hurt! My shoulders...ugh! I've been carnivore about 6 weeks now, and my new goal at 52 is to do cartwheels again!
I agree with Lisa. Carnivore one year Aug 1st. I ended up eating super simple and ditched all the videos about the "musts". Beef, some eggs, a little cheese and butter. Done. There is healthy and happy, they have to go together for me. I am Proud of you both, Cart-Wheel Girls! Did some sprints this morning myself. Loved it!
Some sprints this morning?! WOW! Right on! Congrats on your health journey and finding the right foods for you so you can feel your best! More happy days ahead!
Thank you for sharing this information! I jumped right into Carnivore a month ago, after watching Some videos. I have lost 11 lbs. I lost my anxiety and have never felt better. I’m 56 and was 25 lbs overweight and starting to have elevated sugar levels. This diet is not easy at first but the longer I go the easier it is. I’m addicted to feeling Great and Happy now, which is more important to me than cheating with sugar and carbs. 💜🙏🏻👍
I agree with all her advice. I was vegan for years and it DESTROYED ME. Eating carnivore and then slowly adding FODMAP friendly fruits and vegetables have been a life saver for me. I find that only carnivore doesn't work for me but I eat like 75 percent of my diet is meat and I feel my best.
I'm trying to go on the Carnivore diet as I heard how people reverse their Diabetes and so much more on it. Thing is I love fruit so I am going to see what FODMAP fruits are.
50 years old. Carnivore since January. Down 35 pounds, with energy through the roof! Perfectly healthy, running 5 + miles a day, and attracting quality women! Life is so good!
I love the "and attracting quality women" haha literally had me laugh out loud! This is great, thank you so much for writing this for others to read and be inspired! Congrats on your weight loss and new found energy! Hope you have a happy meat filled day! :D
I loved this. Wise and humble. I'm 65 and have been mostly carnivore for about 2 years. I eat intuitively now, often going to the market without knowing what I want. I love her comments on blood work too. I avoid doctors and have zero interest in my "numbers"! I wake up happy and pain-free every day, and that's my prescription. Best wishes to all! 🥩 🥩 🥩
YESSSS!!!! Thank you so much! I also am not interested in the "numbers", thank you so much for writing this! I sometimes think people get too caught up and distracted in some arbitrary numbers verses how they look, feel, and act in this world :) Hope you have a happy meat-filled day!
Same. I give doctors a hard pass, and I'm not interested in numbers on a printout. As Dr. Chaffee says, "it's physiological," whatever your numbers are at, they're there because that's where your body needs them to be right now. If you feel good, sleep well, and have no complaints, you're on the right track.
A year carnivore; dropped thirty kilos, muscle mass increased, joint inflammation gone.Working out three times a week, the fittest i've been in 30 years. i'm 63.
Thank you ladies for going on my bike ride with me. Great information, ladies! The Carnivore Doctor is truly helping so many people. She's a great lady and I've met her a few times! Keep up the great content, Lillie!
This is so real I’m a 62 year old female with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and a. Type 2 diabetic been thinking about going carnivore I love this subject so great information, knowledgeable and informative thank you so much I’ve subscribed to your channel today 😊
Up until 3 yrs ago I was on statins, blood pressure tabs and protein pump tabs. I have never been offered solutions other than meds. I looked into it myself. I went keto and joined a gym. I began to go long dog walks whereas previously I was restricted by anterior compartment syndrome. In 3 months I lost 42lb, despite putting on significanr muscle. Arnies advice that once you have had muscle it comes back easier is true. 😁 When I revisited my doctor he sent me for my regular blood tests. The results amazed him. Despite being 63 my blood pressure had dropped to that of a healthy 30 yr old. I'd stopped all my tabs. My blood results were perfect and my pre diabetes had disappeared. I no longer took lansoprazol, the protein pump, as I no longer had acid reflux. My libido rocketed....I even got some teenage acne 😂 He was shocked but in fairness he listened to what I'd done and made notes. Doctors exist in a bubble and have less exposure to other solutions than you may think.
One of the most encouraging interviews ever! Thanks. I’m 3 years ZC but have struggled the last year with cheat snacks and the raging return of sweets cravings. It’s great to hear a long term carnivore just tell the truth: that crap is addictive and abstaining is the way. That’s why my first 2 years were so awesome. Thanks again so much!
Oh wonderful! Thank you Caralyn for sharing this! Yes, Dr. Lisa is pretty spot on when it comes to those addictive foods...no need, no thank you! :D Hope you have a happy day filled with great food!
@@LillieKane I liked the video too BUT there is no science behind what you are promoting, not being a troll, Im sincere in my long life and cancer free quest, but cannot see any studies or examples that eating a ton of meat will help me get to a hundred and a ton of studies that suggest the opposite in both cases.
@@SciSciToys You reject the testimonies of the people who post here? Your religion and closed mind will not help you. Do some research. Listen to Dr Ken Berry. Argue with him. I have eaten carnivore for 3 years. My CAC score last August was 32 so I probably won't die of heart disease and I'm off all of my meds. But you will reject what I say just like you reject the other people here whom carnivore/keto has helped.
@@SciSciToys you need to do it for 4 weeks, then go from there. Trying it for a month will not hurt you. In fact, I know you will look and feel better! Just make sure you eat some 4-6 ounces of beef or calve liver once a week to round out your mineral and vitamin intake.
@@SciSciToys There is actually a ton of science if you pay attention and not listen to all the negative and especially false studies. There is not even a question about this anymore. Too many studies are being discussed on many channels.
So much great information. I too wish I had found this years ago. It has made me sane, and I no longer am abscessing about food, weight, dieting, binging. So nice to get off the binge/ diet roller coaster after 40+ years of the pure insanity.
I am beginning my carnivore journey tomorrow morning and this video has answered every major question ive had.. thank you Lillie for the awesome educational content!
Oh excellent Billy! Good luck! The first couple weeks may be rough, may have a transition phase. Let me know how it goes for you and am so happy to read you had lots of your questions answered! :)
@@LillieKane the only thing i would have liked her to touch on that she didnt was the grass fed vs grain fed and if it really matters that much from a nutritional or health standpoint but this has been the single best carnivore video ive seen yet 👍
I really liked this one! So glad she talked about the organ meats. I have been on the fence about trying carnivore because I DO NOT want to eat the organs and everyone talks about gotta eat the organs. So glad she talked about it and it makes total sense when she was talking about how there is only one liver so obviously the organ eating is not necessary! Obviously only one or two people back in the day got the organs, so obviously not necessary to sustain this way if eating. Yes! Makes me feel more confident that I can do this now. Also, thought here. You know how kids always bulk at veggies and we have to work hard to get them to eat them? Well, maybe it's because their natural instinct is that we don't need them?
Hahaha yes, maybe kids know instinctually that they don't need the veggie overload LOL I am glad you have more peace of mind about the organ meats. I love my liver but I know it's not for everyone...more for me! LOL
I implore all anti liver people to try it in very small piece, cut from a frozen block of it and experiment with it only raw. I use to cook it, and once I sampled a sliver of it, I haven't looked back. I also get it from a local and trused grass only feeding farmer.
If you eat clams, oysters or any shellfish, you are basically eating the whole animal so there are your "organs," in the off chance that you need them. The carnivore diet is so nutrient dense regardless. Save those organs for the omnivores. They need them a lot more than you do.
I am 49 and really wished I had known of Carnivore before I tried to get conceived. I was infertile and had to get infertility treatments spending a thousand of dollars which I could’ve saved. Now, my period is so accurate which I had never experienced before due to PCOS. Thank you Carnivore
Super interesting. This video along with Shawn Baker and Dr Saladino (can’t believe that’s his name), has me intrigued. Game on from a 40 year old combat vet. I’m honestly hoping this clears some PTSD and depression.
I know it's super backwards thinking and sounds counterintuitive to everything we have been taught. If you haven't already checked out this video I made, I think you will really enjoy it. Someone mentions PTSD and many mention depression :) Good luck Grey! ua-cam.com/video/GDOcmc5lURk/v-deo.html

What a great interview. It is so encouraging to see a healthy long term carnivore. Whoopwhoop. I love my carnivore life too. Thank you for reinforcing all the reasons carnivore is good for health. Been carnivore for 3 years. Thank you lilly for all you do and for your great smile❤
Awww thank you so much Alma for your sweet comment. It fills my day up with happiness reading you found the foods that make you healthy and feel your best. I wish that for everyone in the world :) take care friend!
This is so good! Thank you. I have gone back and forth from keto to carnivore trying to navigate carnivore eating budget etc. I wasn't losing weight on keto. I feel so good when I get going with carnivore just need to stick with it! Hard to deal with peoples and doctors face contortions and alarming cautions. I so identify with the no cheat days related to "falling off the wagon" I really feel my body needs just carnivore. Praying to get my bearings and gain my momentum. Thanks so much!
Glad you got good information out of this video! I know it's tough to navigate through all the doctors information, media, and news in knowing what is a healthy way to eat. If you haven't already, I think this video that I created will be very eye opening and inspirational for you :) Hope this helps! ua-cam.com/video/GDOcmc5lURk/v-deo.html
Love this video because anyone who might be scared or unsure, this is the answer. For me, a former Chef and type 2 diabetic, Carnivore is incredible !!
Best 43:00 mins I've spent in a long time! Been Ketovore since Oct 2019, I can even begin to state the benefits, the list is endless and, of course, never ever been healthier or felt stronger and more amazing!
Oh wow! That's saying a lot! Thank you! I am so happy to read you're feeling so amazing! Seen as how you just wrote this, I think you would also enjoy this video I made and it will make you happy to watch :) ua-cam.com/video/GDOcmc5lURk/v-deo.html
Lillie dear, I like to applause you because you have invited the best of the best speakers like Dr Natasha and Dr Lisa. I already know about GAPS and Dr Natasha since 2015. I have watched your interview with Dr Natasha and was curious as to where she has her organic farm. And Dr Lisa is just awesome in her vitality and strength! Well done. Another round of compliments and applause for all 3 of you. 🥰👍🤗 Thank you.
And I also agree with her about the cheat days. Once you get a taste of sweets or great tasting food, you'll start craving it and be miserable trying to get back to where you were previously. Years ago, I lost 30 to 40 lbs, then a hurricane came so I had to eat whatever was availabe (junk food) and that was the end of that particular WOE! At the time, I didn't realize what happened though. I'm glad that I'm now educated on the subject.
WOW! Congrats on the first few days! The first couple weeks are usually the hardest (mentally and sometimes physically). Good luck and you'll have to keep me in the loop on how eating this way goes for you :)
Makes me feel so much better hearing this info come from a Dr. I'm going on my second month and have had people so worried about me that I'm killing myself. I'm trying to heal my gut and lose weight. So far my gut feels much better but haven't lost weight yet.
Please don’t listen to your friends or family, unless they are doctors or otherwise educated…. You have access to millions of real people telling the world how various diets help them… try as many as you want and apply the one that makes you feel the best.
I know it can be confusing with all the different opinions and information out there. I would just encourage you to listen to your gut ;) take care Melissa and I wrote your name down, you're on my prayer list tonight :)
What a beautiful testimony of health. There was so much awesome info( that liver thing was on point) I too, wish I would of found this earlier but no looking back!
My stomach was so bloated I scratched my skin raw on my legs Since starting the KETO my life has changed Everything has healed up, & lost 5kg still counting I can't thank you guys enough
I am convinced on the meat eating. But one thing keeps in my mind. The Mediterranean people. They eat many greens each week and live long long lives. I am hesitant to give up some greens and veggies bc if that.
I was doing carnivore back in 2003 to lose weight and i was getting amazing results, sadly i listened to the so called experts who said i was heading for an early heart attack and changed back to a sad diet for the next 15 years which caused me so many issues. I could have avoided a lot of pain and misery if i hadn't switched.
Awww, you're right, it is so confusing and we all wish we knew what the truth was about food/diet...well at least you know there are always new options and ways of eating so you can reverse some of your health pains and start thriving and feeling great again! Hope you have a happy meat-filled day!
On carnivore, I have learned that _hunger_ and _cravings_ are two different things. Only eat when you're hungry, a piece of advice I have often heard but never been able to follow becomes easy on carnivore. So when I tell people that I mostly eat one meal a day, they can't even imagine doing such a thing as they confuse hunger with cravings.
Not me. I am always hungry on carnivore. Not just a craving but full on hunger where my stomach is growling and I feel nauseas if I don’t eat every few hours. Unfortunately I am more hungry without carbs and can’t go as long.
@@PinkieJoJo Are you in ketosis? If you haven't been doing it long and your body hasn't adapted then intermittent fasting for such a long period will be excruciating because you're actively detoxing
And as a Type 2 diabetic, the Dr would send me to a dietitian because they DON'T KNOW... and the dietitian would show me these plastic oranges and apples to supposedly represent a true portion size. And talk about whole grain breads, etc, etc... and meanwhile my weight continued to increase right along with my A1c meaning my blood sugar was terrible. Did that for 15 years until my Dr was talking insulin injections. That's when I started looking elsewhere for nutritional advice. Went strict clean keto/carnivore, lost the weight, got my blood sugar down to normal, off the Metformin and others.... yeah, don't ever tell people to ASK THEIR DR.
Oh wow! Thank you for sharing all of this for others to see and be inspired! I'm happy you found keto/carnivore to help with your health. It's unfortunate what goes on in the medical industry but happy to read you found something that worked! Food heals! :)
Great interview! Dr Lisa is terrific, a simple, followable approach, and you let her talk. And your Resting Happy Face says a lot about how well the approach is working for you. :-)

So, please know YOUR body, and follow/do what YOUR body needs/requires. Carnivore, raw vegan, keto, whatever, etc. Whatever you're choosing for YOUR body is fine if it works for YOUR BODY .
ABSOLUTELY! I say this many many times in my videos because you're so right, we all need to find what works best for our own individual bodies, no two people are the same and we have to experiment with what foods work best for us :) Thank you for writing this JJ and hope you have a great rest of your week :)

I have told many people that at 53, I should not feel this good!!! No inflammation, joint pains, muscle aches or problems eating carnivore style!!! I went from 265, 40x 30 pants, to 222, 30x30 pants and abs that are showing through where fat lived alone and unhappy….. I feel amazing and people say I look 20 years younger…. Carnivore is it!!! I swear!!!
Heehee yes I’m sure people think you’re crazy! There’s no way you can be 53 and have no pain and look in your 30’s?! All meat diet?! Whattt this guy is nuts! Heehee thanks for sharing and inspiring me to be 33 looking 53 year old 😉
I have seen so many things said in this video that are as true as true can be. This was my first time hearing anything from Lisa. I can tell she knows her stuff. It was really fun hearing say things that I have said myself many times to my family. That was so neat :) Great show 👏🏼
@@LillieKane people do way worse than that. I’ve done it 20 times since 1981. I had a gf in San Diego in 1981. Now I have a daughter and granddaughter in San Diego
I grew up on a farm. We had liver once or twice a month. My mom was a good cook and I quite liked it. If you eat mainly red meat, you can get too much iron. I'm nearly 70 and plan on starting this next week. I need to lose about 15 pounds and have Sjogren's Syndrome. I lost hair when I tried keto. I'm hoping this works better.
Lillie this was a great interview!..I follow lisa also …I never thought about how ppl didn’t ask u if u we’re getting all your nutrients…when we were eating a trash diet 😮
Same thoughts from me. If I had known/tried #keto #ketovore 20 years ago, perhaps my CAC would not be quite so high, my knees may have not needed to be replaced, my eyes would not have developed retinopathy and I could have resolved by T2D sooner... but alas my life has dealt me a different set of cards but still SO grateful I listed to Dr. Sarah Halberg's Ted Talk in August 2019 which led me down this path.
Thank you for sharing all of this Tim! I also wrote down Dr. Halberg's name and am now going to check out that Ted talk. Yes, unfortunately eating this way was not a more common thing to do but it's always better late than never to start enjoying the benefits :D
I should have listened to her before I started liking liver! It’s to late now, I love it now,I did a lot of gagging to get here so I am not giving it up now LOL
I still do not like liver, but since my reptilian mind makes me crave for it, I consume it quite often. I grind it raw, salt a big spoon full and turn the freshly ground mush on my tongue so the salt side is against my taste receptors. With a sip of mineral water I am able to destroy 150g/day as a survival medication. Lately I have found other mental challenges (Goggins style) from incect eating. I hate them too, but life is good ;)
I didn't enjoy this amazing long interview as much as I enjoyed your beautiful smile. You gave me a huge dose of positive energy. Thank you so much 😘 Bless you 😍
I have said since I’ve felt better doing this way of eating, I wish I would have known this information when I was younger. I’m 64 and have never been on meds. Carnivore is a great way to eat.
I live in France and its normal for the hunt to give all the organs to the dogs. The prized item for Northern European hunter gatherers was bone marrow.
If you watch videos of tribes around the world, many of them offer organs to different groups within the tribe. For example the liver may go to the pregnant women or the kidneys to the males who heard the livestock, etc. But they wouldn't give those organs to any group they don't think needs it. Also a liver would be divided among the specified group so they wouldn't eat a large amount. I make liver jerky because I like it but only eat it when I crave it and only crave it when I'm iron deficient.
Great interview Lilly. Can you please interview dr Fit and Fabulous. She can be more specific about how much protein should be eaten for women. Thank you
My comment is completely anecdotal, but I find it interesting that people who eat carnivore look so nice and young. Vegans tend to look so thin without much life in their skin, making them look so much older. I’ve tried it all, but just know I always felt better eating more meat and less of everything else. Also as a side note, my grandma is 101 years old. Never ate a vegetable in her life. She has a horrible diet, so I can’t speak to that, but clearly the lesson to “eat your veggies!” isn’t quite the whole picture 😂
YES! This is great! Grandma living to 101 and defying the odds. We are always told "this is the way", but there really is no "best way". We are all just trying to figure it out :) Thanks for sharing!
Love her. She has such a grear sense of humor with a semi serious tone. I was absolutely rolling on the floor roaring with belly laughter when she was talking about the liver and the organs. So Funny. Anyway, Lillie always keeps things so joyful and upbeat. Carnivore Ladies Are So radiant and beautiful and calm and balanced. Peace and contentment. Great interview Lillie. Dr. Wiedeman, you look so good at 56! Glad you feel good too! Do you color your hair? Just curious if you get gray or not. It looks very healthy and beautiful! Thanks for doing the interview. Enjoy you both. Carnivore is so awesome! Love it...❤️
She sure does look great! Thanks for watching and we will see if she responds to your question :) If she doesn't respond to the question here and if you have Facebook or instagram I know she would respond on there :) Hope you have a great rest of your week! :D
Pretty sure you don’t need carbs to keep your hair from graying. I’m not an expert though... I think I’m going to roll the dice and keep doing zero carb.😁
Funny that a cartwheel has been my ultimate goal in my 100lb shedding journey. Anyone who says I am looking good, I think, I will arrive when I can do a cartwheel. Also 56 I clapped when saw those cartwheels!!!
Funny, I turned 32 last year and my goal was to be able to do a cartwheel! I never could as a kid; I was too fat and clumsy. Now I can do them like a champ, it’s so fun! Life is so much better as a carnivore!
I've been down the carnivore road of trying to add back some of the veg I ate back when I was keto. I just found I didn't feel quite as good, so I've always come back to strict carnivore.
I've had to watch this in batches, but I just watched the part where you said you used to eat PB & J every day. I've never heard of anyone else doing this, but I did it for a long time after high school when I worked my first job. I just never got tired of it, and I still eat PB & J occasionally to this day.
66 year old male, 3 years carnivore and about 15 health issues disappeared. Feel bloody fantastic. Lost 50 lbs. It’s actually unbelievable when I think about it. I’m carnivore for life now - will never change it.
What is a typical day of eating and typical exercise regime ? Thanks for any info / help you can provide. 👍
I would love to know which health issues you reversed?
I’m 60. Just started carnivore a little over two months ago.
A life-long depression is gone. Working with Dr to slowly get off of the antidepressant I’m taking.

I can recommend watching L. Amber O'Hearn - 'The Lipivore: What is Fat for?'

At least you are wise enough to see that we are being lied to. There is no money in being healthy. Keep going and remind yourself of the lies. Fight back.
I love her and all the veteran carnivores because they keep it simple and not overwhelming. Great interview!
Keeping it simple is key! No need to over complicate it, we have too many other decisions to make in a day Hee hee keep it simple 🙌🏼

When I revisited my doctor he sent me for my regular blood tests.
My libido rocketed....I even got some teenage acne 😂
He was shocked but in fairness he listened to what I'd done and made notes. Doctors exist in a bubble and have less exposure to other solutions than you may think.

@@b1lly--buckets505 Hey Billy, check out kelly Hogan. She's been carnivore for probably 15 or 20 years. She just buys the cheapest meat ( corn fed).
LOL
Yes you are right!!! I never thought about the kids and veggie overload…. U might be on to something here❤️
My kid is quite pleased when I tell her she doesn’t have to eat her veggies when mom says she does…. 🤗

I knew something had to be wrong. I was miserable.
"have no use for medical profession" @24:44. Totally agree.
WOW! So true! I haven't really thought about it that way! You're so right! Thanks for sharing this! :D
@@PinkieJoJo I feel nauseous if I don't eat and it's subsided now with this supplement I've been taking to treat pcos
How much meat do you typically eat in the one meal?
Oh wow, thanks Allen! Your comment means so much to me. I am glad you got good info from it and I appreciate all your kind feedback :) Have a blessed day!
Another amazing interview!! Lisa is so knowledgeable, and I totally relate to being a carb addict!!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it! Dr. Lisa is full of great experience and knowledge!❤️
Great interview! You are great at letting the guest talk and not jumping in all the time. I look forward to the next one!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much! :D
Awesome interview. It is so inspiring to hear from a women who has been eating this way for so long. I have just started Carnivore and total wish I had found this earlier in life. But at least I have it know. ♥️🥩💯
Yes, that's how we all feel, why hadn't we heard of this sooner?! Thank you for the positive comment and hope you have a happy meat-filled weekend!

This was a great conversation. Luv Lisa she is so inspiring. And seeing her do so well for so many years. Being close in age. I luv hearing what she has to say🥰🥰🥰
Excellent! I am so glad you found this video helpful and hopefully it gives you some more peace of mind. It sure helped me as well! :)
Thank you Lillie for sharing this wonderful video with Dr. Wiedeman. It is so refreshing to learn from her years of experience. I just love your channel Lillie, bless you.
You are so welcome! You are so kind and it makes me so happy to read you are enjoying the channel
Praying this diet heals my fibroid.
I’m writing your name down and will be praying for you tonight Donna!❤️
So enjoying your channel Lillie - you're such a kind, intelligent interviewer and good listener! I've been a big Dr. Wiedeman fan for many years and found this video so helpful and important. Keep up the amazing work lovely! XX
Awww thank you so much Jen. I really appreciate you writing this, more than you can imagine. I also, really enjoyed this conversation and found it helpful! Thanks for sending some of your kindness my way and hope you have a great week ahead! :)

I appreciate her no-nonsense approach to this way of eating. I started in March and love it. Eating out is still a challenge though. I'm ready for summer travel to be over just to be more in control. :)
Yes I love the simple approach! Going out to eat they make foods all sorts of “fancy” and filled with ingredients…just give us the meat! 😅
Agreed, Learning how to manage the thinking of …summer vacation carnivore way of eating and not drinking. It’s so easy to fall back in the “it’s summer, I deserve way of eating , hell why not sabotage my healthy carnivore diet knowledge of right way eating diet.” Thank you for your knowledge and dedication to the healthy way, carnivore eating informations you bring to the world. It is the way to drop the pharmaceutical medication and money-making vitamins. It is the way to repair your health and live this life with excellent health.
Note to ALL who are watching this video. Please be aware that Each and every BODY is different. No two people are the same. NO type of eating/diet fits everyone.
I am 65, have been a carnavoir diet now life style for the last 9 months. I have lost 47 pounds . My goal is about another 17 more pounds. Several of my friends are doing it now too. My A!C is now 5.2 down from 6.7. My cholesterol is down too. Arthritis is mostly gone to. I have cheated lately with Caesar salad and feel bad. My skin is so much better everything is better.
Thank you for taking the time to write this and put this out there for others to read and be inspired. I don't know if you saw this video yet but I collected video clips from people all over the world who share how this way of eating has changed different health markers in their life and I think you would like the video as you mentioned your A1C and I'm pretty sure someone else mentioned there's too ua-cam.com/video/GDOcmc5lURk/v-deo.html
Regardless, thanks again for writing this and hope you have a great meat filled week! :D
Heehee thanks for sharing and inspiring me to be 33 looking 53 year old 😉
Both of you ladies are so inspirational 👏 Thank you!
Wow, thank you! You are very inspirational as well! :)
@@LillieKane Thank you..that’s so nice of you to say!
I agree. Best interview
I have seen so many things said in this video that are as true as true can be. This was my first time hearing anything from Lisa. I can tell she knows her stuff. It was really fun hearing say things that I have said myself many times to my family. That was so neat :)
Great show 👏🏼
I’m 60
Just rode my bicycle from
San Francisco to San Diego 560miles last week
OMG! That’s incredible! Wow, I didn’t even know people do that. (I grew up in San Diego). Right on, you inspire me!😊
@@LillieKane people do way worse than that.
I’ve done it 20 times since 1981.
I had a gf in San Diego in 1981.
Now I have a daughter and granddaughter in
San Diego
I grew up on a farm. We had liver once or twice a month. My mom was a good cook and I quite liked it. If you eat mainly red meat, you can get too much iron. I'm nearly 70 and plan on starting this next week. I need to lose about 15 pounds and have Sjogren's Syndrome. I lost hair when I tried keto. I'm hoping this works better.
Lillie this was a great interview!..I follow lisa also …I never thought about how ppl didn’t ask u if u we’re getting all your nutrients…when we were eating a trash diet 😮
Fantastic story. Have been doing the carnivorish lifestyle for some time and it's the best thing for great health.
Right on! It's always so nice to read people finding great health! We don't have to live in a sick world, there is always another option :)
Ty for sharing
Thank you Lillie for all the interviews and inspiration 🎉thank you !! I’m going to get connected with you!!🎃
The rant on liver/organs was right up my alley!!! 👍💪
Hee hee, I love my liver but I know it's not for everyone! Glad Dr. Wiedeman was able to talk about this and her experience! :)
Amen!!! I spent over a $100 on those on those high dollar pills
Idk 🤷♂️ I think it still might be a good idea to get some of the organ pills every once in a while…
YUP want to try to know but I see some folks say they do and some they do not and both seem OK ? again so personal
I’m 66 yrs old. Day 2 for me. Can’t sleep, anxiety. I hope it gets better.
@@LillieKane This is the video that changed my life: ua-cam.com/video/da1vvigy5tQ/v-deo.html
I should have listened to her before I started liking liver! It’s to late now, I love it now,I did a lot of gagging to get here so I am not giving it up now LOL
hahha you are too funny! I'm glad you like it now after going through misery haha
I really like liver!
- I sizzle chicken liver in olive oil with onions. I find beef liver too bitter .
Liver and onions are delicious.
Thank you so much 😘
Bless you 😍
Heee hee thank you so much for your over the top kind words. Your positive energy brought a huge smile to my day!

Thank you
I just wrote her name down and added her to the list! Thank you for the suggestion :D
Eat fat until satiation then consume muscle meat. 2:1 fat to protein ratio is best.
I am 57 years young and beat the older guys (age 18-35) in park run. Feels so good.
I like Dr. Wiedeman. No nonsense, clear and concise...
You do a good job of letting delcious speak
Great discussion. Dr wiedeman is one of my favorite people on youtube. I like the way she thinks when it comes to eating.
Yes! She’s excellent and so genuine! You can tell she really just wants to help people feel better and find what works best for them 😊

@@KenWang2 How long were you on Carnie for?
@@KenWang2 untrue. I'm 42 & zero gray hair. Sounds like bad genes.

HAHA yes! Right on! This is awesome! You'll have to let me know when you successfully do your cartwheel! That will be a good day! :)
Wow! Thanks for sharing this! It's always interesting to see what works for others! Thank you
@Nickolas Suarez I have tried some. It doesn't really do much for me except cause fluid retention and stimulate hunger.

I've had to watch this in batches, but I just watched the part where you said you used to eat PB & J every day. I've never heard of anyone else doing this, but I did it for a long time after high school when I worked my first job. I just never got tired of it, and I still eat PB & J occasionally to this day.
PB & J's are so good! Sometimes I use to chop up banana slices and make a peanut butter jelly banana sandwich! HA!
