You have no idea how hard it is to find videos of mammas making realistic meals for their 1 year olds! Because of that im always terrified to give her anything like waffles. Ots so refreshing to see. Thank you!
Oh you are sooo welcome!! That is definitely us, REALISTIC! I am happy to provide that information! Of course it's fine for you to feed whatever works best for your baby/family, but we keep it real over here. Lol. We will hopefully be doing an updated video soon with more easy meals!
I came here to say exactly this! I am struggling over here to figure out what to feed my soon to be 1yr old (Aug. 25th). I love how real this video is! We have been having difficulty with gagging and vomitting so we are keeping things mashed/flaked/pureed/cut super small until we get there.
Mine only wants puree. Hates eggs :(. Fastest way I warm up milk is heading a stainless steel pot hot then turn off stove, pour milk, swish for 10/15 seconds and back to bottle
Oh gosh she is SOOOOOO stinkin cute!!! Baby #2 due in October here. This is such a fun age. I loved introducing new foods and tastes and seeing my son munch on things like pizza for the first time. LOL his eyes got so big like this is GOOD mama 😂 so sweet. You do such a great job with your videos. Subscribed!
Aww!! Thank you so much Liz! I just responded to your other comment about your bedside nursery!! Yes, it is so fun watching them try new foods and flavors. Congratulations!! How are you feeling? Also, I apologize for my late reply!
Thank you for this video. Something simple and not complicated to fix your child. I have a 1 year old, and she's very picky, and it's hard to find what she likes to eat. I'm going to try giving her waffles
Milk may be given at nap time, bed time, and fussiness during the day, because the more she's eating solids or snacks in-between the less she will need the bottle ❤
Thank you for the video! Quick question, when do you plan on stopping the bottle before bed? I have a 12 month old,and I’m worried about her not sleeping through the night without the bottle before bed
My 1 yr old only has 4 top and 4 bottom she not a fan of using her teeth. She still wants // expects baby food. Any suggestions? Thanks video was great!!
1% milk is going to be way more nutritious for a 1 year old than almond or oat milk. A better plant based substitution would be fortified soy milk, since it has protein and healthy fat, as well as calcium, b12 and vitamin D!
I’m having such trouble with getting my 12 month old (she’s barely 12 months) to get to liking whole milk! She has been gaining weight slowly thought she eats a lot (she’s very active and started walking at 9 months so by now she’s running). I’m really wanting her to start loving whole milk! Anyone have any suggestions on how to get them to like whole milk more?
1:53 Teflon releases chemicals that are chemicals (there have been many studies on this). Opt for stainless steel, cast iron instead❤ *Your baby is precious* 🌻
Why did this baby have such a late breakfast, it ran into lunch which by that time she also napped, i cant believe a baby wakes up that late in the morning unless she's waking up at 6-7am, just wondering ❤
I like the tip that Journey gave! Try to eat with her so she is able to mock you eating. Make it fun. Try different foods. You can also talk with her pediatrician to see if there is anything that they recommend.
Let her play with the straw with a little bit of water in a lidded cup. For my daughter she was naturally curious about them and one day when we were eating I had a cup on hand for her, it took a few tries but when she felt some water in her mouth, she kept on and has since. Just a little trial, error and fooling around. Give it time and your toddler will. Also, let her observe you using a straw, especially clear ones.
Not sure if u still needed the tip but Put some yogurt or maybe a tiny bit of apple juice in the tip which baby will try to suck off then they'll realize something is coming out. This is how I trained my son so drink out of a straw

My daughter just turned 1 , I found this video so helpful. She’s so sweet ❤
So realistic. I was so confused how to transition from formula to whole milk & solids and how much solids were enough once transitioned
Video helped a lot thank you!
I love the little grace song in the beginning, so beautiful seeing her smile with the food blessing!!
Haha. Saying grace is one of her favorite parts. Thanks for your support Liz!
she’s well fed lovely

My kid mostly wants puree 🙁
my one year old only eats boiled foods too. always refuses hard foods frustrating

I'm going to try giving her waffles
Yes! Glad it was helpful for you. We definitely keep it realistic and simple over here. Haha. Hopefully the waffles were a hit for your baby!
How much whole milk did she drink in a day at that time? My son just turned 1 and we are about to transition to milk!
Any updates?? I'm getting close to that as well
Milk may be given at nap time, bed time, and fussiness during the day, because the more she's eating solids or snacks in-between the less she will need the bottle ❤
My daughter just turned 1- I am only give her 16oz per day n the rest is 100% juice mixed with water
Thank you for the video! Quick question, when do you plan on stopping the bottle before bed? I have a 12 month old,and I’m worried about her not sleeping through the night without the bottle before bed
Don't give her a bottle of she doesn't want them
If you fri the egg with butter, you don’t have to put any seasoning at all.:
We may have to try this! Thank you!
She’s a cutie!💗
She lives fruits just like my baby, is she just 12 month?
My 1 yr old only has 4 top and 4 bottom she not a fan of using her teeth. She still wants // expects baby food. Any suggestions? Thanks video was great!!
Start her with soft foods
Good ! If she doesn't want a bottle don't give her one. She is almost a toddler so I would start to lean into solid food
Give her almond milk or oat milk

Mine will only drink it warm. We slowly went from all formula to mixing it with whole milk then to just whole milk
@@mrsjuhasz480 thank you so much! I will try that!
Update: my little one is 13 months and she’s drink milk chugging it now.
I'm struggling my son only wants formula

Thank you so much! Yes, we have since replaced all of our cookware. We were hanging on to those for way too long. Appreciate it! 😊
Good video. I don't Care for the Music hurts my Ears.
my baby chokes and vomits with solids still

People have different schedules
My baby is12 month .but she don't like eating. please tell me what can I do
I eat while my daughter eats and I make happy noises to show her it’s enjoyable.

How did you get her to drink out of a straw I'm having a tough time ?
The same here my daughter loves her bottle I'm trying get her off it 😭❤️

Why the hate for pepper? Y’all only give your baby bland food?
how many teeth thes she have ? how is she eating gold fish
Pepper in her food ??? Nope
How many teeth do she have?
Hi Tina! I am not sure how many teeth she had at this point, but she has a mouth full of teeth now that's she's older! Lol.
Baby does not need pepper, thats so irrelevant 🤦🤦
Then don't give your baby pepper 😊
