Really great quality content. Eric, you are doing a great job!
I appreciate that!
one thing that confuses the hell out of me is how supply chain gets mixed up with every department which then in turn means that those that work in supply chain literally needs to understand EVERY department and what they need. every single department in a company deals with supply chain
So true
I'm in the Supply Chain business (distribution side) and this was a great video with great data. i will like to Know more about the Planning part or the Chain .

Eric, I wanted to comment and share my appreciation for how you've interpreted this video in a way that someone like me, an IT professional venturing into business, has easily understood and captured the concepts you've presented. Liked and subscribed!

You have way too many weaker clips at the channel. This one might be one of the few where you are talking really straight forward and precise. You display deep expertise about supply chains. 👍More!
Great effort & content. Thanks a lot for sharing
Glad you liked it!
Hi Eric,
I'm glad and blessed to learn from your wealth of experience.
I value your composure, the fluency in your boldness while delivering this lecture.
It's been helpful for my new role as an Executive Assistant to the MD of a manufacturing company here in my country.
Thanks.
Great video - suggest to add Forecasting/Demand Planning, MRP and MRO
Thanks, Mike. I may need to do a part 2 to capture everything I didn’t get to in this video!
Good job
Thank you very much
Of course!
Thank you, I have a midterm in one hour. Just want a quick review.
This was a great video! Well done..
I have an interview with a manufacturer next week and this was helpful. I was literally pausing the video and reciting what you said out loud, so that it could be imprinted into my brain, in case the interviewer asks me anything. SUBSCRIBED! Haha..
Great video, thank you for sharing. What are some skills or knowledge that you would recommend to someone pursuing a degree on supply chain management to better prepare and ultimately be more marketable in this field?
I am a nobody but in my opinion you should let the specialists do the marketing because its a very complex and analytical concept of mathematics towards trends and accumulation of data. The one good thing about supply management is the ability to connect point A with point B and organize, with that in mind we do have an ability to assemble good teams of people (organize) and ultimately I am learning chain of supply to get that foundation of connecting and organizing to do that exactly. So in my opinion you should try yourself a little bit as your own HR and see what happens next! Experimenting is everything. Dont forget to be creative in the process because solving standard things in a nonstandard fashion is key.
I’m new to your channel, so, a question I have is should I continue my education in supply chain management degree or am I better off getting a certified for it?
Can you tell me about Ranking
The information is very useful! Thank you for sharing. I studied Data Science and I am currently looking to break into Supply Chain Management industry. Any tips? Should I study SCM for master degree? I have zero SC work experience.
great overview... this is probably a 1 semester class in 15 minutes, haha, gracias
Glad it was helpful!
IDE isn't thatf a term of the past when e-commerce wasn't emerge on the more b2c. Databases could then connect with vendor databases and place orders trough applications. Nowadays everything can be done trough webbased transaction. So, is it still called IDE or is the way of placing orders etc changed over the time? I don't have work experience in Supply chain..but I am curious how it was back then and what the current situation is. If my assumptions are wrong , please feel free to correct me.
Hello eric. How are u ?
SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (SCM) is a prosess of managing the goods, data & finance of an organization starting from the procurement of raw material turning into finished goods to be sent to the consumer. With multi-modal logistic the goods will definitely be send to consumer on schedule
Very useful
