New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ABFS04336
Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes. This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 2010-2016 Cadillac SRX.

Very very good tutorial. I am impressed with how little information this man gives but just the necessary stuff needed. My type of video. Most people throw old civil war stories in the middle of everything. This guy was like tire, bolts, torque, clean, bolts, tire lol. Awesome.
This is the ultimate video. Excellent step by step including torque values and socket sizes. Outstanding job. No Haynes or Chilton manuals for the Caddy so this instruction was sorely needed. Thank you!

Forgot one extremely important piece of advice. DO NOT EVER compress your caliper pistons without removing your brake fluid reservoir “cap”. By compressing the piston back in without anywhere for the fluid and pressure to go you can very easily blow a line or crack your reservoir itself among other things and not find out until you go to use your brakes and find that you’re not stopping or pulling drastically to one side. Also when you remove your reservoir cap you want to make sure you put some old rags or an old towel you don’t care about under the reservoir to catch and fluid incase it overflows, don’t allow that fluid to touch your paint either or it’ll eat through your clear coat same as battery acid.
I was just looking for this tid bit of information since my friends and I all learned this the hard way when we were younger. Great comment I hope a lot of people either sees this or knows this already 😅

Great explanation. Thank you. Can you please make a video about the best jacking points for this car, using a standard floor jack and stands?
Don’t get much better than this 🙏🏽
Always is nice see again this guy working. Thanks 👏🏼
Thank you so much, saved me several hundred bucks doing it myself.
Great refresher video! Thank you.
this is an awesome video good job !
Great video!
I don't think 148 ft/lb torque is correct for the caliper bracket. Most places checked have had 80-85 ft/lb. Thanks for the video -- it helped me.
Great Video 👍👍
Are the torque specs the same on a 2006 SRX as they are in the video?
Thank You .
Save me money for sure
Awesome pro
So you don't have to bleed the breaks?
Nice.
Does these rotors also fit a 2007 Chevy Tahoe??
+Jesse Munoz These rotors shown in this video will only fit on the 2010-2016 Cadillac SRX.
148 foot pounds is correct this torque?
111 for wheels nuts🤔
Are you replacing the Rotors??🤷
I know I'm almost 40 because I have torque ratchet envy.
