Beautiful. Just my way of expression but she doesn't "demand" but seems to "ask" the piano to understand her. She technically knows the work which, I think, allows her to work on her expression and she can do that for hours. She may get tired fingers but her heart is not tired. She can ask for the softest sound the registration can provide, and a beautiful soft note appears as though a string has not been struck at all. She has a gift of expressing her heart through her fingers and this is her conversation with the piano. She deserves to practice with the finest concert grand available, every day.
Dear Tiffany, your videos showing your hard work on that concert are really inspiring. I look forward to the day you will be invited to perform it with a top conductor like Gustavo Dudamel and one of the orchestras like New World Symphony, or the Los Angeles Philharmonic, where you really can shine.

To play as she is playing she already practiced for a long time. What you heard is the result of a long time of study and there is still much more to do. This concert is extremely difficult.
I’m new here, but I wanna tell you thanks. You’re giving me inspiration. Recently I joined to the university but I’m not studying what I’m wanted: Piano. That’s why I’m sad. You give me one breathe to keep playing piano. I I’m still looking for study piano some day and i know I can get it. Hope you see you in Mexico City some day. Love you. Keep practicing and give us the best concerts we have ever heard.
I loved watching this! I mean, how often do I get to see a concert pianist practice? You sounded so good, too, Tiffany. And, of course, I always reflect on the genius of Rachmaninoff and how he was able to create such monumental music. It boggles my mind. And it boggles my mind how people can actually play it and make it sound so great. You work so hard and struggle mightily to play it correctly, while we just sit back and enjoy it. So a hearty "thank you, Tiffany" is in order. And I'm looking forward to your next practice session with the cadenza or whatever else you're working on.
I've seen another pianist play the Rach 3 years ago. I think the reason why I love these practice vlogs is because it cements 3 things for me (personally): 1) Practice does make perfect. (Great pianists aren't exempt from that.) 2) It brings a certain "humanity" to it that us more "normal" people can relate to (granted, Rach 3 is really, really difficult, but even for less "difficult" pieces, they're ALL "difficult" until the moment that they're not. See 1).) 3) The Asian in me can't stop laughing because I can only recall all of the times my parents/teachers, etc. would be harping at me to practice. These are really inspirational. Thank you!!!
I was so delighted to hear you perform last Saturday in Rhode Island! Seldom are we graced with a pianist who is capable of taking us through such a colorful program. I loved the Bach, and especially the Gigue. And your interpretation of Chopin was memorable. I have shown your videos to my students so if you see references to “Miss Peggy,” that would be me; I have asked them to watch the videos regarding beginning books (so they see their books) and also practice videos. So helpful!❤️
Bello ejemplo de práctica ordenada y profesional!!! Impresionante!!!! Adelante y Gracias por enseñar cómo estudian los mejores músicos del mundo!!! Además, lo importante es que has disfrutado cada intento!!! Seguramente pronto podrás mostrar y hacer relucir tu versión soñada!!! Muchas suerte!!!
I love your sharing your practise. Cause it real good chance to show to people (not musicians) that it's hard. That you have to engage a lot for being in this profession. You know, I'm a pianist too (I'm still learning) and, sometimes, I lose my motivation to practise, because I think, that people don't appreciate it. Because for them classical music is "old-fashioned" and " bored". They don't even imagine how much time musicians spend to do it. And I hope, that, thanks to your videos, people will see, that musician's profession is not just "having fun" or "enjoying". It's work, difficult work. And knowing it they'll respect this profession. Anyway, thank you, for your videos, they are brilliant❤
This is really inspiring. I started piano last year and I'm on grade 1 and at 28 I have a lot of other things on my mind and I feel sometimes like I'll never complete piano. But just to see that you drill as much as I do is really reassuring. I always thought anyone who was on a more professional level could pick things up quickly but it's not always the case. Everyone has to practise sections slowly until you can piece the whole puzzle together. I'm really enjoying these and I just found your channel. Please continue to post more practise sessions. Not only are the comments funny but you're super talented and a real inspiration!
Im actually thrilled for the next vlog! your cadenza question not answered is like a cliff hanger haha😃 waiting on the next Rach 3 vlog you're doing so good!!
Somebody and their often bullied pinky is about to hit 100K! Here's a poem for both of you! "Pinky, you and I we've been On black keys, white keys and in between And with every mistake we learn a lot And with every good note we make this art Soon we'll reach 100K Guess it'll deserve a wholehearted "yeey!" But don't you forget, and that goes for the rest of you lot You make a mistake, you'll get my wrath! For I don't plan to mess around Will go to one mill and beyond And if you guys don't plan to keep up I"ll comic sans break your cuticled heart"
@@wuzz woww, that's literally the only thing you could say about the poem? Nothing else? What about the creativity and effort? Also, it rhymes pretty well in my opinion.....

Looooove to watch your practice. Basically you are indirectly teach all of us how to practice those fingers and notes. Thank you 🙏
The exquisite lyrical section is treated with such care and attention to the balance and long line, that the result is beautiful and musical.
This day was a fun day. But watching you practice is the most fun I had today 😛 Keep it up!
To play as she is playing she already practiced for a long time. What you heard is the result of a long time of study and there is still much more to do. This concert is extremely difficult.
......you are wonderful and a pleasure to watch!
Dear Tiffany I admire you, can only say Thank you for sharing your ability in playing Rachmaninov! Alberto
I really love how you search the sound to find what you like... You are amazing! ✨❤️
I would love to watch a video of you giving tips about memorization and scenic panic. Btw , I love you and your channel ! Keep it up girl!!
love watching you practising 😍😍
I joined the waitlist and got two tickits for May 12, I am so happy right now!
Looking forward to hearing you play.
Keep up the good work, much love.
"How are you still watching this ?" well it's kinda addictive watching you progress, solving puzzles and getting all the pieces together :)
Yes!. I do want to see more. It get so inspired by them.
I've seen another pianist play the Rach 3 years ago. I think the reason why I love these practice vlogs is because it cements 3 things for me (personally):
1) Practice does make perfect. (Great pianists aren't exempt from that.)
2) It brings a certain "humanity" to it that us more "normal" people can relate to (granted, Rach 3 is really, really difficult, but even for less "difficult" pieces, they're ALL "difficult" until the moment that they're not. See 1).)
3) The Asian in me can't stop laughing because I can only recall all of the times my parents/teachers, etc. would be harping at me to practice.
I got so excited at 7:39 when you got 2/3 of it that I almost said "Yay!" out loud :D that's amazing to share this with us, thanks
Could watch and listen to you all day. Amazing. Hope to catch you live one day #bucketlist
your my hero, i bow before thee
this is just insane! you turn into a monster when playing :)
These videos are very interesting, I like watching how you work thru things
Im actually thrilled for the next vlog! your cadenza question not answered is like a cliff hanger haha😃 waiting on the next Rach 3 vlog you're doing so good!!
yeah im still waiting for a response to my question!
@@santiagol365,
Patience and persistence only are all you need.
Somebody and their often bullied pinky is about to hit 100K!
Here's a poem for both of you!
"Pinky, you and I we've been
On black keys, white keys and in between
And with every mistake we learn a lot
And with every good note we make this art
Soon we'll reach 100K
Guess it'll deserve a wholehearted "yeey!"
But don't you forget, and that goes for the rest of you lot
You make a mistake, you'll get my wrath!
For I don't plan to mess around
Will go to one mill and beyond
And if you guys don't plan to keep up
I"ll comic sans break your cuticled heart"
@@wuzz Poems dont have to rhyme, there are different types. When you take this poem for example it is in free verse.
How did you come up with this poem?
@@wuzz woww, that's literally the only thing you could say about the poem? Nothing else? What about the creativity and effort? Also, it rhymes pretty well in my opinion.....
That was lovely Tiffany a Rehearsal performance with the piano moving around towards the finale. Good to hear you enjoying the rehearsal
Wonderful to watch! You are talented and charming and your sessions are compelling and inspiring.
I need to show this to my kids. It is so encouraging to hear that your struggles are identical to mine. And vice versa! Stay positive !
