The Bad Batch Episode 6 BREAKDOWN Who Was That?!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 чер 2021
- The Bad Batch Episode 6 is here and it came with some unexpected guests and happenings. I feel like Wrecker will eventually turn completely to the mercy of the inhibitor chip, falling in line with Order 66 protocols and joining the other Clone Troopers, possibly joining forces with Crosshair and the Empire. This is what could lead Hunter, Echo, Tech and Omega to find Rex and ask him how to save their brothers. This could be awesome because we'll finally, maybe, see just how Gregor and Wolffe got their inhibitor chips removed too, as we saw in Rebels after The Clone Wars.
Do you think we'll see the struggle between Anakin Skywalker as he is turning more and more into Darth Vader by the day? I hope we'll see a glimpse of him, or at least come to know of him soon in the show. Mind you, the galaxy doesn't know of Vader, yet, as per the comics.
I wonder when we'll see the transition between Clones and Storm Troopers, if at all this season.
Let me know what you thought of the Martez sisters and how they will play into the show going forwards (I think they'll have a more recurring role from the looks of it).
May the force be with you!! Thanks for watching!!

What did you think of the episode? Where do you think the show will go from here? Rex going to help Wrecker and Crosshair?
I feel like it should be Bail, but I think it’s gonna be Maul. Rex wouldn’t wear robes and Ahsoka isn’t Fulcrum yet.
Great episode I think Bail Organa is the character at the end and we might see him on the bad batch in future episodes
did you really end your stream because of a candice joke??? i heard that you did. but i dont know if its true
Theory I love you man but you to admit the show is a 4 out of 10 as of right now. I didn’t come to watch the Omega show I’m honesty more interested in what’s going on in the background of each episode more so then whatever is happening to the crew. Episode 6 was cringe and I hope they spice it up and actually get the show going these next few weeks.
Yo have you seen the grievous fan film trailer
It's breaking my heart seeing Wrecker slowly get overtaken by the inhibitor chip...
Yes it's kinda sad
@@lulu9005 Yeah I really hope Rex saves the day and gets the chip out of their heads. But idk... I've got a feeling..
I'm hoping they can get their chips removed still. We know they run into Rex at some point and he knows what the chips are and how they work. I think they all probably still have their chips but its taking longer for them to activate. Maybe they could go after Crosshair and try and take his chip out.
I believe what snapped him out of it was Omega contacting him on comms
@@Cosmos-exe Ya Omega has a funny way of getting the Bad Batch into trouble, but ALSO saving them lol!
Another sign that Wrecker's inhibitor chip is active: when he joins the battle at the end after coming to, he leaps down from on high as if it was nothing. Given that it's well established he's afraid of heights, even in combat, this is unusual for him.
You may be on to something there😳
That’s sick. I never would have thought of that
You are a sleuth
When you think of it, its really strange that neither of his comrades didn't even think of that, even after the battle..
You know what? you’re dead on
Trace’s mild confusion after Echo introduces himself is just priceless.
I laughed pretty hard at that myself
@James Logan she asked if there is an echo in here because her sister kept copying her commands. coincidentally, there is someone there named echo.
YES😂😂
*Visible Confusion*
James Logan it’s a really simple joke lol
The only thing that lacked in this episode was droids saying "Roger Roger" 😂

In the clone wars Anakin said “I hope no one is scared of heights” than the entire batch looks at wrecker hinting he was scared of heights and after he was overtaken by the chip he jumped down not being afraid anymore this shows how much control the chip has it even gets rid of fears
well it's designed to enforce literal suicide missions for them. they're overtaken to assassinate *super powered ninja's with magical abilities.* there's no room for fear lol
Great catch!
I think you're thinking too hard on this one bro it's was needed for him to jump down to destroy those droids that's it...

Really glad they showed r7 again. Nice throwback to ahsoka and the clone wars
While it could be another R7 unit, I do believe it could be the original since in the scene at the end of the Clone Wars, R7 was relatively intact and probably had the memory banks removed to be put in a new body.
Omg so happy to see R7
Did anyone else notice that r 7 was a diffrent color to ahsokas

"I heard that before" was referring to when Rafa and Ahsoka were arguing over whether or not Ahsoka was acting like a Jedi.
Cuz Ahsoka was a citizen
@@jerrygil1965 I'm sorry citizen, this is Jedi business
It makes it even more heartbreaking that it’s Wreckers chip that is malfunctioning because in the 1st episode Tech says how they are all programmed in their own way and Wrecker was the one most bothered by this. He protested that idea the whole episode. Now he is the one who might be fully controlled by the chip
Don't despair. I think he is trying to fight it or it is very slowly kicking in. Either way, I believe he will in the end, be fine.
I have a theory about this: Wrecker actually managed to resist the chip, you can hear him say “no!” As if he doesn’t want to succumb to it. However, it wasn’t until Omega said “We need you!” That got him up on his feet and moving and he was blasting droids with his usual glee. Perhaps Omega is the opposite of Order 66, she can help clones snap out of it?
It’s unlikely, but I find it intriguing.
Nah fam, that’s just love. Same reason Rex held on.
Love is just a chemical in the brain, maybe you can saturate the chip with dopamine levels and render it useless? Crosshair was never happy and didn't really like anybody so his chip was totally fine. Clones also we're kind of like slaves to the Republic meaning they probably didn't live very enjoyable lives...come to think of it. Cut also found a life and family outside of the war and his chip seemed to not work very well either

Same thing, they were so boring and unlikeable I was wishing that the police droids would’ve killed them
I think that when the Martez sister says “I’ve heard that one before” she’s talking about Ahsoka cause didn’t she tell them “i’m different” or something like that
When Rafa said “I’ve heard that before” I assumed she was talking about Ahsoka saying she was different from other Jedi (“You still act like a Jedi. At least, how I want them to be” was what I think Rafa told her). I’m hoping The Bad Batch doesn’t break canon by changing the events of the Ahsoka book, because in the book on the first Empire Day, Ahsoka says she’s been on the planet for a year. But I’m really excited to see Rex!! And hoping he’ll take out their inhibitor chips and save them all from certain Order 66 doom.
Also really hope so, but clone wars isn’t famous for their happy endings...

"Clankers" was a term applied to all battle droids, not just the B1s.
You can't say that slur anymore, you'll get cancelled by droid Twitter
What about clankas
That’s “clanka” to you
They're working for the Crimson Dawn and that was Maul. Okay yeah I know there's a snowballs chance in hell that's true, but I can dream right?
Id say that's very possible!
That was my 1st thought. Or dryden. Rafa likes those types. Saw makes sense too
It was Ashoka.
James they said it was a guy. Cant be ahsoka. Too early in time for that. Its right after order 66. Shes a mechanic laying low at this time in ahsoka book. Maybe too early for maul as well. Even though he already had his criminal enterprise started but then changed into crimson dawn not long after order 66. Really most likely saw who would want that info. Weve seen him in show already. But what if its cassian. That would be real interesting. In end my 1st thought was maul then saw.
@@johnpiner2151 watch season 7 of the Clone Wars again. Those girls are the two Ahsoka threw in with. She also was with Maul during order 66.
This episode proves that Omega at least isn’t a Mary Sue, seeing how she only hit the target 3/12 times, but had it been Rey she’d of hit the target 12/12 times and ended up trying to teach Echo how to shoot it.
And then count dooku would appear again and she would actually be his granddaughter. Why would count dooku come back and be omegas grandfather? Well the answer is WHY ARE YOU ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS!!!
Actually Dave Filoni is using the same method he did for Ahsoka. He’s making her annoying intentionally in the first episodes but then slowly improving her
The first time rey used a blaster the first shot didn't work because the safety was on, the second shot was a miss, and then the third hit
Shamoose But Omega really isn’t that annoying, she is also younger than a Ahsoka was.
Rey would've hit the target 24 times out of 12 😳
100% Bail or Rex. They said “He” Unless Ashoka is trans it ain’t her. And it ain’t maul since I doubt he’d he would all of a sudden be on the side of good given his story in rebels
Ahsoka might have become Fulcrum by this point because The Empire along with Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader believe she is dead. And while as Fulcrum in Rebels Ahsoka wore a hood or a mask and made her voice different.
Maul finds out about Vader at somepoint so perhaps this show will go over that [to an extent]
But I honestly think it’s Rex
@@JohnJohn-pe5kr yes, but I find it really unlikely still, because there are loads of better theories for who it might be
Fulcrum was a man disguise so dont count out Ahsoka.
And they never said anything about rebels, just that they needed the tactical droid's intel. So I wouldnt count out Maul either.
I thought when rafa said "I've heard that before" about the clones being different, it was renferring to Ashoka who said she was different and not like the rest of the jedi.
It pleasure to see you again Master general Obi Wan Kenobi and glad you are still surviving and master Kenobi beware of maul
I hope that the mystereious guy in the end is Mace Windu, that would be epicccccc!!!
"Rafa continues to be obnoxious" is the most accurate phrase I've ever heard
I thought when she said she’s “heard that before”, she was referring to Asohka when she had said the Jedi she knew and she was different to how the Martez sisters saw the Jedi

Something to note, the security droids have commando droid body's, and no commando droids can be seen on the rails, none that I saw anyway
Yeah i also immidiatly regonized the body, and i wonder if these droids were actually taken from the rails and have gotten a new head? Perhaps or maybe they just got it from the market.
@@justasimplebrush3061
maybe some of the commando droids were sold on the black market, where they were remanufactured with different heads and different paint to be sold as security bots
There were commando droids there, the ones they are in one scene but they take down a couple of police droids
@@smokeyplane3285 Weird to think they'd make these security bots somehow as effective as B1 battle droids then. Not really good alone, but only dangerous due to sheer numbers. Even with their thicker armor.
@@creamgravy1 I think they just took the old commando droids from the railing and salvaged the parts that are still useful. Since they are on the railing, they have also been damaged since they are being taken apart and were in recent battles, which might explain why body shots deal more damage than the actual commando droids used to get, because they had some blaster shots before on them. Also i think the head got replaced now because of the tactical droids controlling these units, and without the head perhaps he can't control them.
Theory: they were talking to Saw gerarah and that’s where he was when crosshair and his squad took out the rebels
that actually makes sense
Wow that is a very smart theory that also goes back to ep4
I thought that at first but why would they hide his identity there's obvs going to be a big reveal who it is and weve already seen Saw in this series.
Remember that at the beginning of episode 3 Tech was building something, I don’t remember what specifically is (something to do with the chip) so maybe when Wrecker gets full order 66, with the help of Rex, they could help him remove the chip (or even everyone’s chip) and maybe help Crosshair on a future episode.

I think when the Martez sisters say, "I've heard that before", it was just a play on when Ashoka talked to them regarding her being a Jedi in CW season 7.
My theory is that when the vast high get to Rex crosshair gets those first and is looking for Rex. He goes there with a squadron with grand admiral tarkin. Wrecker knocks out crosshair and hits his head once more activating the chip, then they remove crosshair’s his chip. The Martez sisters arc takes place before The Bad Batch arc.
@@KyloRen0127 I’m aware of the timeline, but going from taking out a droid battalion to doing level 1-5 side quests is boring
@@PaRadaRada I agree. I don't hate that arc because it gives Ahsoka some character development, but it is my least favorite arc in season 7.
I have a feeling that the person we see is actually Maul, the sisters were getting into the crime stuff and maul would definitely be one to start his own rebellion against the empire, with him controlling the crime syndicates it would make sense that all he would need for a few rebel attacks is information on how to stop clones, it also gave me weird vibes the way the sisters talked to “him” the hologram being mostly out of the picture with kind of similar clothing to maul seemed almost sinister, I feel if it was Bail organa we would of just seen him.
haha, I literally just made exactly the same comment
he could easily make them think that they are doing something good
My only thing is the clothing is too light for maul, but all around right idea
I’m not so sure Maul tends to surround himself with ruthless criminals I doubt he would associate himself with them
I was thinking how that could be the case. The sisters didn’t actually say anything about how they were doing any good, they merely said it was just that. Is it potentially just Maul’s twisted perception of good against the Empire? Certainly an interesting thought, but I’m inclined to not believe it given his role in Solo and Rebels.
Could be Organa, could be Ahsoka, could be a CIS remnant, either way, cool episode and looking forward to the next one
My personal theory is that it was Saw Guerra
Loved this episode exciting and great pacing… much better episode with the sisters than what we got in the clone wars imo… great breakdown @starwarstheory keep up the great work
Where’s the Watch Party stream?? 📺
I am so bummed they brought in Rafa and Trace. Those two were absolutely awful characters in Clone Wars. Hopefully its just the tie in them meeting Ahsoka.
Find them annoying too. Their concept is fine but they're just written as too combative about everything and alternatingly extremely savvy/strangely obtuse in a way I find frustrating rather than funny.
They Will get less annoying its a dave and George Lucas thing they share, they love to introduce characters in the worst or best way possible it Depends on how much development they get. I mean he could do a full on ahsoka with them or leave them like the jar jar of this show. But I have a feeling they are brought in as probable crew or allies who end up either as just addons or romantic intrests for example for say hunter or whoever that being rafa most likley. I’m fine with characters like that as long as they are not a running joke like jar jar.
@@antonhallergren588 Dave likes doing that, makes characters development seemed earned. Rather than everyone loving them straight away. Ashoka was almost unwatchable in the first film and season. Now we're all excited that she might actually be in this new series.
The busted Battle Droid going "What happend? Did we win?" That was hilarious 😆
They probably did not really have any communication with Ahsoka until she met up with Bail Organa at the end of the Ahsoka novel
That title made me think the clones where being decommissioned
Bail Organa, the birth of the rebellion
Better late than never!!! Lol love ya Theory keep up the great work
I almost cried seeing the droids going back online it just warmed my heart to see em back in action
I know he's to young at the time, but I would love to see cal cestis or kestis from jedi fallen order or iden versio, mixing up games with shows and stuff doesn't really happen in terms of characters
I actually thought that bunch of imperial recruits that took out Gerrera's camp were Inferno Squad, not gonna lie
Because games keep getting in and out of the cannon universe, it is too risky to include game characters. Filoni usually plays with characters inside the animated universe that he created.
What is and isn't cannon is constantly in question. Especially stories as lackluster as battlefront 2. It would be cool to see cal but at the same time. Those games could easily be non cannon in the future. I just don't think it's a good idea.
@@legohunter77 but Filoni incorporated delta squad from the republic commando game during s3 of the clone wars
We are going to bracca but they meet rex, so it wouldn't make sense as then rex would tell ashoka of a jedi called cal kestis
And yet Omega has more training than Rey has lol. I'm sorry, I couldn't resist.
Edit: Its just a joke guys, honestly I didn't mind the sequel trilogy that much (except the last Jedi 😑. Screw that movie)
So SO true
Well, not yet.
All they had to do was space the sequel trilogy apart and it would be easy to counter this claim by arguing that Rey trained off-screen.
Instead, they went big brain mode and made the whole sequel trilogy take place within the span of a year lol
Let it go ffs
@@Tac0maAr0ma dude the fact that you're commenting on a video about a niche SW show proves that you know how the fanbase is. & that means you know how important the OT/PT are to those fans. which also means you know how stupid it was of Disney to pull the shit they did in the name of profit. as soon as *they* realize/admit that. then you can tell them to "let it go." which at that point still won't make a difference I'm sure because Disney apparently never does wrong... so goodluck lmao
Another third possibility of someone wanting the head that I thought of could be that they wanted to destroy it so no one would know how to beat the clones as well as the droids did. This one is less likely and raises a lot of questions but just one potential possibility that I thought of :) Loved the vid!
Me : I thought you died
R7 : I return to you now at the turn of the tide
MAYBE this is windu and we finally get repedemation arc for him where he teams up with the kaminos during the rebellion and fights against vader.
Not happening never in a million years. If they ever decide to actually bring post-order 66 windu back it’s not gonna be during some animated mid-season episode about some rogue clones. He’s way too big a character for that and it’d be very hard to tie him in specifically during this timeline. And no, bringing back Maul in the clone wars isn’t a suitable comparison at all (I say that as I expect some would come up with that counter argument).
@@rebelembassy7527 Nah maul was great in clone wars, he carried the show hard sometimes... but mace would be better than the predictable ahsoka/rex...
it would make sense that Raffa and Trace would meet the jedi survivor (most likely on coruscant limping) asking for help and they would trust him because of their experiences with ahsoka. To find his lightsaber before the empire burns them all.
The bad batch could make him their "general" since they never had one, being a deformed jedi it would make sense that he would lead the deformed clones and he could be one to see if omega is truly force sensitive.
Of course, I feel he will get attached to the group and start to realize what anakin went through with trying to suppress his feeling to protect them... and will be traumatized when all of them die (Besides omega of course)...
I could see omega being raised by mace for a bit teacher stuff to the protect herself forming a nice master and apprentice relationship between them like Billaba and he had.
I feel mace will go into exile after kamino, and become basically what luke skywalker in the sequels where he is just an old man that is done with his past life. He would ALSO be 82 in mando since he was 47 and this about 35 years later... which is near samuel jackson's age right now being 72.
So I feel omega and mace will be the main agonist of boba because boba most likely will hate omega because she siding with mace instead of him because he is her "sister" of sorts. But Boba and Mace have to meet face to face match.
@@WildWeavile I totally agree bringing back mace would make it VERY interesting. My point isn’t that bringing back mace would be a bad idea plot-wise. Bringing back post-order 66 windu in basically any time period could make for a highly interesting and coherent plot that makes sense. I’m simply saying that if the folks high up at lucasfilm ever considered allowing his return, it wouldn’t be during an animated series. They just wouldn’t allow it for that reason alone. If they ever did, it’d be for a live-action movie or tv series which would make it maximally profitable and notable for them.
Mace is dead, get over it.
Oh mg yes! This would be great! Dave even said he survived so technically it could happen!
Please save the watchparty on the channel, man. I like to have it playing alongside the episode. Doesn't feel as lonely
I think this was my favorite episode since the pilot, felt like it’s setting stuff up not just crash on a planet and do a side mission then leave.
Man, I love these videos, you're doing a great job.
BUT three adverts in an 8 min video makes it tough to get through 😳😳
