Its worth mentioning that this one have standard fixed suspension. Optional DRC suspension is a game changer for comfort and dynamics.

The suspension does not change in this model regardless of which drive mode you’re in. If you get dynamic package it comes with DRC, RS sport exhaust, and red brake calipers but the DRC actually will adjust the suspension when you switch to comfort mode and stiffen up when you’re in dynamic or RS mode.

hi man!) you missed one important thing in this review - audi makes their cars for wet and snow conditions. no one bmw "m" and MB will never get the same quality of control in wet and especially snow conditions like any audi rs4, rs5 etc. i used a5 3.0 with quattro (torsen) in winter time - this is the best 4wd system that i've ever used. the best.
so if you live in CA you don't need this kind of 4wd, but if you live smwr with rain and snow audi quattro is the best choise for your fun and safety in control)

BMW xDrive is a phenomenal system. Had my X5 4.4i in the snowy weather, it was excellent, and we recently had a huge snowstorm here. I took my X4 M40i through large snow, and while most cars were stuck it effortlessly got through all the snow. I've had an Audi S5 too... BMW has the most adaptive and flexible system on the market.

so I own a A5 2023 black optic package similar to the rs5, and I personally think your wayyyy off on the interior review, Im pretty tall and man I sit in there for hours just fine. The speakers in the car sound just fine. Now I will say for the passengers in the back seats, I've had friends complain about it being cramped. But other than that great review, keep it up!

    • @DMCarReviews
      @DMCarReviews  9 місяців тому +1

Thank you for your feedback. Your A5 does not have super tight sports seats, which make a big difference. The roofline is fairly low, so it does give a pretty tight feeling. The speakers, like I said... were okay, at best. The speakers in the Volvo S60 sound much better, in comparison, along with other cars in this class.

As someone who has owned a b9.5 RS5 Sportback for ~2 years... 2 B9 S5s for 2 years and various other Germans. This is probably the most inaccurate "review" of an RS5 I've ever seen. "extremely harsh ride"? Like have you even sat in an M3 or C63? Also your entire Pros and Cons list is so counter intuitive that its crazy. "Soft Paint", "high quality fit and finish", "No physical dials", "too many VW pieces"????
I've also seen you comment on bunch of other Audi videos showing your weird bias against Audi's. You gotta learn to be more neutral man because at this pace no one's going to watch these low quality videos when you don't know what you're talking about.

    • @DMCarReviews

I appreciate your feedback, and I am glad you spent time watching my "low quality" video (which people seem to love more and more each day). As someone who owned a 21' Audi S5, I shared my points. I showed the pros and cons. You don't have to agree or disagree, it's what it is. I definitely find a lack of dials and soft paint and too many VW pieces an issue on a 90K car. The ride is awful, and I couldn't take it more than an hour. I also did a co-review on an RS5 stage 2 with the owner, and he shared his thoughts on his Audi as well. We agreed on many things. You'll probably disagree with him too, and think he is wrong. As far as the M3 and C63, I drove both cars. The real difference between them is they ride better and feel like true RWD sports car, and not an expensive VW. Here is the RS5 stage 2 review - enjoy!

      1. How am I supposed to agree with your pros and cons that don't make sense? You said "high quality fit & finish", then said "Soft Paint”. Now you’re calling the car an “expensive VW”.
      2. I watched the Stage 2 RS5 video and the owner did not agree with everything you said? If anything you made it awkward by trying to mention how you think his car has “too many VW parts”. And yes the ride was harsh because the guy lowered his car 1” more than factory spec. Why do you think it wouldn't ride worse? Let’s use some common sense here.
      3. Listen, based on your reply I can understand that you don’t like the car and that’s fine but when you go out of your way to tell people it’s bad because it’s an “expensive VW” and not a "true RWD sports car", you come off as a biased fanboy. All I ask is that you do better.
Also… Put. Down. Your. Phone. When you’re test driving other people's cars. It’s an easy way to get into an accident.

@@randyragy4592 1) Interior fit and finish is not = paint quality of the car. Listen carefully next time, lol. Yes, it is owned and made with lots of interchangeable VW parts, so it is an expensive VW. An Audi S3 is a Golf R. Any Audi mechanic will tell you that
      2) He agreed the ride is stiff, and he agreed about the parts. The ride on his car was just as rough as the stock RS5's.
      3) I did not say it's a bad car, I just said for 90K it's not worth the price tag, and yes it is a more expensive VW, as a Cayenne is a more expensive Touareg (hope you don't deny that). I also said it is nose heavy at higher speeds, and that there are better RWD options out there, in terms of ride and handling. Nobody here said it's a bad car! I had an S5 myself, and it was an excellent vehicle.
As far as the phone, it's used when performing Dragy runs, but I do agree it's better to not hold it :)

@@DMCarReviews You really don't know what you're talking about. The VW has passed down parts from Audi. The VW is the lower end of VAG. Every part they make is pretty much VW/Audi. Audi designs most of VW's stuff.
