Great job splitting the wood John. When you have a good axe it becomes enjoyable and a lot less like work. Enjoy your time at the Paul Bunyan show. I am sure there will be plenty to see. Take care!
Wow! You do have lots of wood to split. And you’ve got the right tools. And you are so right. I also get antsy if I’m not outside on a project at some point every day. Best gym ever.
Good morning John, it is amazing how good tools can turn a chore/job into an enjoyable experience. Hope you have a great time at the Paul Bunyan show. Ben 👋😎👍🍻
Great video John. That wood sure splits nice with those Timberpilot axes. Sure looks good and sounds good when the wood splits. Have a great time at the Paul Bunyan show. Thanks for the Catbird singing 👍🏻 Have a great day John. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
John, the axe profile certainly looks like the ones that BBR is constantly calling “Aussie” pattern. If that’s the case, I’d think that they would SURELY split that dry Ash (dry because of the sound and no other reasons that I can detect). But no matter what, you sure did get in your quick little outdoor workout 😁
Right you are, Todd!!! Those fat cheeks really get the job done. It is funny about the ash. Those rounds came from farther up the tree which was standing dead. As I was working my way down, the wood was not so dry. I saved the butts for saw logs! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@thebradleysoncatbirdhill6849 , probably not. That’s a busy time of the year around here. I do have a good friend in Lebanon, Pa. We were in the Marines together. I will get back out there to see him at some point and I will make it a point to look you up.

Thanks so much, Paul. Once the rain stops, I should be able to get the rest of it split and stacked. The firewood bundle sales are heating up here!

Beth is actually worried she will never see me inside the house again after I retire!🤣
Rain is really throwing things off! Looks like its going to be nice for Bunyan though :-) I second the Casterman Axes!
It will be great to actually meet, Nick, after all these years!

Thanks so much, Ben! One of these days, I have to start meeting all of my Canadian friends in person!
Nice axes John, I can see Casterman smiling now 😂
Only a few days before the Bunyan 👍👍

Have a great day John. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Thanks, Noel! Those crazy catbirds actually wake me from a deep sleep in the morning when I have the windows open.
I can hear why. 🤭🤭
Apparently the Catbird can mimic other bird calls.
Good evening John !!!
Mr. John, you have quite a collection of TIMBERPILOT axes, your wildlife is quite entertaining sir...safe travels and enjoy yourself sir...
@@Brian2bears Thanks, Brian!!!! Was hoping to see you here!

How polar opposite John.
We haven’t seen rain in well over 40 days !
It is amazing, Gary! I just cannot believe the craziness of this weather! Would you ever make it to the Paul Bunyan show?
