It took me several attempts to defeat the flame gleeok on the bridge and I had 12 hearts, 3 sages, had good bows, and already got the master sword. This was a pretty good and useful tutorial especially for those that are having trouble with it
One thing to note is that homing arrows (from monster eyes) will be able to hit gleeoks at their max height even if you stay on the ground. If you have the upgraded Flamebreaker set which makes you immune to flames, you can just stand there and launch homing arrows until it falls. You don't need to ride updrafts if you don't want to. It's a slower method but it can work if you find it easier.

You've got to make a video about how the lightning temple just tastes like OOT. Literally the only 'old Zelda' part of the game to me. Absolutely fantastic temple and boss fight
No fancy tricks needed. A lynel bow and some eyeballs for homing arrows. Fire arrows until all heads are down (from the ground, no bullettime needed), then attack with weapon of choice (a twohander + spin can hit two heads at once for more damage).
When he's starting to get up, step back a bit to avoid the wind from flapping his wings, then repeat with the arrows.
Done correctly he shouldn't get many attacks at you, but if he does they're usually avoided by sidestepping.
You can actually climb the fountain structure behind him to jump off and get quick time. I approached from the other side so that's probably what forced me to think of that. Hiding behind the wagon helps a lot too.

Crouching directly behind the wooden cart will also prevent the damage from the large fireballs, and you wont have to run back to catch the updraft.
When he fires a sun blast use a bomb arrow on it and destroy it.
The lynel bow on any gloeek is best bow for the three headed dragon if you shot it on the all three head on the eye it can fall down easily

Did it on the first try no damage couldn’t believe it. I used the fierce diety with an attack boost meal and the Royal guard bow with keese eyes. These things are surprisingly not too hard with keese eyes. I still hate gloom hands the most because phantom ganon I have trouble timing his attacks.

I struggle a bit with the shield surfing so I fond the rockets on the shield help me more. But the advice for the final parts really helped as I've only ever finished off an ice gleeok so far 😂😂
My way of going up to do a flurry rush was by fusing a rocket do my sheild. Nice tutorial Btw👍
I just made him follow me to that structure in the beginning of the video and use the transport thingy to the top of the bridge to avoid wasting stuff I don’t have lol

It's all about the monster eyes and the 3 or 5 shot bow. Nothing else needed past a certain point.
Rockets are even better to fuse on your shield!!
Yeah rockets are even easier to use if you have them!
Great tutorial, I killed him first try with this strat. Only had 10 hearts too
can't believe i killed it for the first time, then was distracted by its falling and fell and died along with it, having to start over! luckily i used the same method and beat the dang thing lol!!
When I WAS able to play BOTW, shield surfing was my favorite thing to do.
If I ever get to play this game - I'm sitting here laughing about how many times I would bet I'd have to use Ascend. 🤣

I just shot it over and over with the great eagle bow and rubies and sapphires.
I thought I was pretty experienced in this game when I just chose to fight this Gleeok.. I'm not even kidding it took me 3 hours to finally beat this thing. I used Rocket Shields which were okay but it was still tough as heck for me. I was on rage tilt I was so frustrated but it felt good to finally beat this Flame Gleeok on the Bridge. So far it's been the toughest enemy I've faced. I've beaten all 4 Temples so I haven't completed the main quest yet.
Quick question, does this enemy respawn when the Blood Moon appears? If it does I have no interest in fighting it again lol. Once is enough. At least this particular Flame Gleeok on the Bridge.
They have quite a lot of HP (8000). For comparison, a Silver Lynel has 5000 HP.
And yes, all the monsters respawn every Blood Moon :p
@makatrull4359 Thanks man. Do you recommend fighting it again once you beat it after it respawns? Just my opinion but this enemy in this particular location(open bridge) seems way too hard to fight again. Like it's not worth it to me. What do you think?
@@MichaelB-od3xh get a lynel bow and attach keese eyes to the arrows and this fight should be a breeze

Umm... Ice Keese eyeballs? Probably the easiest strat, no flying required unless the Gleeok gets to high.

This looks super intimidating so I always stayed away from him. Then I decided to just fight him and it was underwhelming.
The King Gleeok fights are actually somewhat easier because they don't have any weather effects in play. And they are otherwise fought exactly the same.
