Tim I like this video but if you don’t mind me say volume of the music vs the volumes you voice is not balance right. Your voice is low but when the music comes on it high. I gotta keep toggling my volume rocker.

You said stop “up” to 3.4. I think you meant stop “down”, which is what you would do when going from f/1.8 to f/3.4.

.. How far the subject should be to get bokeh effect ? What is tht ring on lens can u explain in more depth... is that ring used for both video nd photos or both

I have a Sony A6000. I want to buy 50mm 1.8 fe or 50mm 1.8 oss. Which is better? Will the picture be similar? I used to have 50mm 1.8fe for a short period, the picture was nice but af slow and sharpening outside. Will the 50mm 1.8 oss be better then? I usually use Lens for portraits

this is only good for short focal Lengths correct? can you shoot a whole persons body?
This could shoot a whole persons body but you would have to back up at least 10 meters to get a 6ft person in from head to toe

To be honest I feel they have difference uses? The 50mm is more for prorait and nice macro style photos. The 35mm is more of a go between as it can be used in more ways in between portrait and wide angle...if I have to choose it would be the 50mm and I’d move around and frame shots if I was too close...
