- Bad Chad bought a used forklift but I have no idea how to operate it so Nathan is going to give me a quick crash course on how it works 😅
#forklift #crashcourse #badchad
Nathan has been such an asset to the team. His mechanical and electrical skills are outstanding.👍👍🇨🇦
i was about too say the same, agree 100%!!!
I hope Chad pays him !!
@@harryharry4724 worth every penny.
Fina is the star of the show of sure. ✌️
I'm here for the Daisy Dukes.😛
I like how your getting more involved in front of the camera more pleasing for the eyes no doupt
Best looking forklift operator I ever seen.
Nathan is a really knowledgeable guy to have around
👊👊👊
Nate, and Doug have been good assistants. Nate had solved alot of issues with these builds. Making the videos, and projects more complete. We'll done. Keep it up.
Hello Queen Jolene please don't sell off the channel as I remember you guys had a boss before and it didn't go well so please don't go down that path again. I think it has been so much better since you and Bad Chad went on you're own. Thanks and much love and respect from a fellow Canadian.
"Queen Jolene"......simp!!!!!
Fina still isn’t on the Hall of Fame W all with you 2 in the shop she needs a picture in the middle on that hub cap in the middle of you 2 .
You might want to purchase a crimping tool for Nathan from Princess Auto or Canadian Tire they are not expensive. Vicegrips are not the appropriate tool to be used to crimp electrical connectors. Just a thought!
Well done Jolene, Nate a good tutor and along with Doug have very good skills between them. Do you ever get fed up with being called "baby". You are far from a baby and it sounds patronising and belittling...Happy forklift days....
I worked as a maintenance worker in a factory for 30 years and have used a hilo from time to time. It is always required to inspect the hilo before you use it. The basics are check the fuel, tires, brakes, battery, steering, lights, hydraulic fluid, etc. The seat belt is important because if you flip the hilo you want to remain in the seat. When you are driving the hilo you want to understand that the tires are usually smooth so any water or oil on the road will cause you to loose control if you are turning or driving. Make sure that your parking brake is adjusted so that it will hold the hilo in place. You are also suppose to drive backwards if your load blocks your vision. Even driving forward is difficult because your vision is partially blocked by the mast. Have fun and drive slow until you get more experience. You are smart and will do great!
Great advice 👍
all equipment need to have a walk around inspection prior to any operation , :i.e. tires, oils and visual inspection of rams and lines
It's a forklift bro chill
@@jackjfjfjf Dude, people die from forklifts not being serviced and operated correctly. YOU are the one who needs to CHILL !!
Yeah, a girl on one of my jobs killed herself when she drove off a berm at a refinery. She wasn’t certified, and had no business operating it. It was a good size forklift
Why doesn’t Nate have a terminal ska-on pliers? It secures the wire in the terminal instead of crushing the terminal with a vise grip wrench which you can pull the wire out very easy.
With the forklift a cement pad between the shops and the new building would make it easier!!
Chad on the radiator since you are sending it in to fix the leak ask them what would it cost to relocate the lower neck to facilitate the hose installation to the water pump . Just thinking.
What’s so difficult about driving a fork lift❓
Go for it Jolene 👁🐅👌
One suggestion, wear the seatbelt. I knew a guy who died because he didn't have his on. Take care.
Always read the safety manual on that model to familiarize yourself with the forklift truck and please always remember your PINCHPOINTS!
Good thing you’re cute…🤙✌️
Main thing on forklifts they are " Top Heavy", use caution when turning right or left when traveling and when lifting above the seat area . It's a great tool.
Just a suggestion, there is some really good one day forklift courses available as forklift accidents have become very common, WCB at least in B.C. have insisted any person operating a forklift must be certified, they are really great courses offered and taught by very experienced operators, I have been an equipment operator since 1973, I believe the basics of operating any piece of equipment should be taught by an experienced operator, their expertise is invaluable, once you understand the basics it's up to you to put them to use, like anything, the more you do it the better you'll get, My best advice is first you get good, then you get fast, don't rush!, just something to think about! CHEERS!
😅.Jolene, put on hard hat , jeans, boots, gloves next time please. Safety first sweetie. 👍😎
non stop quality QJ .thank you
Girl get you some work boots
Iwillmisstherooater😢
Jolene. Please enter the machines from the left looking forward, keep left hand on steering wheel, rest you right hand on levers at all times. ALWAYS ALWAYS look over both shoulders reversing. Steering is usually 4turns lock to lock so 2 turns usually centre ok 👍🏻 👌🏻
Forklifts are fun... Watch your mast height when going in and out of buildings it'll take an overhead door down in seconds...
IMO
Have Nate adjust the chains, that right secondary chain is too loose.
Mast all the way back, you should have about 3/4in at the heals. Primary chains adjust that. Secondary chains , you tighten them up till the first rail is even with the second rail..first being the very center one.
Jolene, make sure when you are driving a forklift outside or on uneven ground that the forks are a foot off the ground and know the load limits at full height. Good luck.
jOLENE if you are driving the forklift and it tips over please don’t try to jump off keep arms and legs in hold on tight ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Try flipping a coin by using your forks.....greetings from sth Australia 🇦🇺 👍 🐨🦘🐪🪃
Every time I see a video of a lift the boom is up to high for moving it. First rule Always keep boom as low as possible that’s why you flipped the tractor. Look how high they were when they loaded the brake for you. Dangerous
Looking good Jolene, Fina too ! It's great that you are expanding content. Systematically building your little empire. Inspiration !!
Label controls till your comfortable with them . Always set e brake and put in neutral while working in close proximity with humans till you are familiar with machine and controls .
watching the 40 yesterday, Chad needs to paint a line with a narrow paint roller in the center of the lift to help align the vehicles prior to lifting them. Just a thought for the future. Jolene, you could pass the fork lift certification at the plant I worked at, you will be good. keep up the good work.
Great job!!! Always wear the seat belt I've seen people jam the forks on the ground or obsticle and it throws the driver into the boom.
I'm sure a thousand people mentioned the hard rubber tires aren't the greatest on big stone. If you pack some 73's in 3 or 4" deep you will be fine. Concrete is the best 😂
you guys have a really good crew Natt autolec short for (auto electrics) jobs Chad body and paint spec and Jolene camera spec for all different angels and views so you will see on what every one is doing from all aspects for the viewer and Doug the all rounder to do what ever needs to be done. nice setup am always looking forward for the next update on what ever project is going at the time. i am really enjoying flow of material
It can be nerve racking running equipment for the first time. Just picture some of the guys that do it in your head. lol if them dudes can do it we can all do it!! :)
Hey Julian this is Jose from New Hampshire I have something that might be easier for you the handle the forklift each handle of the forklift you should paint a color for the forks will be one color and for the high it'll be another color that way you know which handle goes to what just by looking at the colors of the handle and the color of what it operates when making I think a lot easier for you for an example the red handle would match the forks the other color would match the til add the up and down that way you won't forget what handle does what you just look at the color and the magic color what the machine does color coding I hope that it works if you try my suggestion love and God bless you and Chad
Hard tired forklifts get stuck in rock really easy. If it spins the tire and you can feel it tilt just a little, it’s best to stop right there and get a vehicle to push or pull it in just a little bit because if you accelerate and let it spin any more than the tiny bit that it has , It will only get stuck worse and once it sits down on the undercarriage, it takes something really strong to move it. Any spinning at all… It’s time to regroup! We had the twins to that one at my workplace
I like your willingness to learn. But yeah, a couple loads of crusher run will make driving around in the yard more easier than the stone marbles you have now.
Now get Nathan to go over it and service it before somebody gets hurt. Those machines are heavy and hurt people easily.
go take a forklift course.... and start taking your safety more serious... you are running a business No? if you hurt yourself or one of them you could be in serious trouble. just my 2 cents....
I am working with a lady who is asking me to deliver one of Pomskies to her in Nova Scotia. What is the best way and day to stop by to see you filming?
Beep beep step aside Jolene is on the move🛺
You have dropped really lucky with the Nissan forklift , that model is one of the best forklifts ever made , extremely reliable well done !
That forklift will work fine in those limestone if they are packed down good with no soft spots. We have a forklift similar to yours and our shop yard is limestone.
Good job ,not everyone can drive a forklifts to go Jolene
Paint it blue to match your car and name it little blue
What ever you pay Nathan should be more don't lose him him Chad Doug and yourself great team
I drove a forklift for 25 yrs on my job before retiring. After awhile you kind of learn to hate them. You look good on that one Jolene.
Hi when your steering only use One hand its a lot easier (and faster) If not fitted get a knob for the wheel And most of all you need space awareness constantly looking infront behind and up .
Take the pannles of the contaners to make roof over lift andcdoors areasto keep out side working like aozzys downunder canopy s
Jolene are you going to get the radiator repaired for the Hudson so it will be driveable? Thank you for the bonus video Jolene! Nate & Doug have been real game changers for you & Chad along with us viewers as well.
Definetly not safety shoes but I'm not complaining.
Jolene you can take a fork lift course in the city, with that you know for sure what you can and cant do with the lift. just always be carefull.
That fork lift will come in real handy and keep anyone from hurting there back! 😰
I would like to think they pay those two helpers fairly. Nathan and Doug put in the work.
As long as don't go over any really soft places you'll be fine.. it will get stuck in soft spots tho
I wonder if there is a material that you can lay instead of rock that will give better grip when you're not on the cement
I'm sure JoJo will master the folk lift, way better than Chad.😅😅
Jolene is beautiful. Lucky Chad😅
Got good team joeline take optimum path with crew get lot done you can improvement s to way shop work flow s
Going to have to get some concrete poured between the buildings so you don't get stuck
Great video 👍 love that little k.9 . God bless you all and your loved one's from me way down under in New Zealand.
Jolene you can do it just take your time and learn to do it right. God bless and have a blessed day
I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD LEARN TO DRIVE A FORKLIFT.... 🤘
That was a deal of a lifetime. I would buy those all day long at that price.
You got this under control. Just remember it steers with the back tires.
Can we get day video of Fina in action what her schedule like 😊
It will travel anywhere u have a hard surface, it go over the rock ok,
The right team can do anything as you all prove every day!
a forklift comes in very handy
Won't be complete until Chad puts a chop on it :)
Fena riding in the back seat is just a cherry on the top!
Forklift certified ❤
Always handy to have a forklift.
Jolene is now an official forklift operator
Stay away from any dips in the ground as they tip very easily!
Keep these great VIDEOS a coming SWEET JOLENE FINA BADCHAD NATE great content as always
Ain't no biggern a squirrel .
Should have kept the little tractor.
Also a good idea to shut off propane at the tank when not in use.
You need one all the lifting 👍 Jo Jo 🖐🖐
Nathan is a great assett look after him
Great job young lady.
This woman can do anything
you don't need but most trade schools have a course, required by OSHA in the states. I worked for a tire mfg, factory was build over several decades, floor uneven so all lift drivers drove with forks 30'" off floor, exciting!
Nate reminds me of myself and others from my time when we fixed instead of replaced things. Love watching all of you, you all enjoy what you're doing.... 👍👍👍👍👍
Hey Jolene, I was worried at the beginning of this vlog that Nathan was going way too fast for anyone to comprehend but you obviously learn by doing and quickly learned the functions. Well done! The #1 thing to remember is the height of the mast. It appears the mast on your unit increases in height with the forks so aways watch out for door headers. 😎👍
Fina loves going for a car ride Everytime she loves it.
NATHAN fantastic guy knows everything ,what a bonessssssss boom job done
Great NAPA advertisement. 👍
Hey all! Let's hear it for the Queen! Good job Jolene! That's what I did for the last five yrs at a meat plant (ML Meats) before I retired, fun at first but monotonous after while . Nice video Jolene! Quite a day Chad ,everything on the go and comming along ! tc all
this ought to be interesting
Who's the music by
Glad you got yourselves a forklift. They are a great tool to have. I started driving forklifts when I was only 11 years old. They are top heavy so when moving heavy loads, take your time and don't get in a big hurry or else Murphy will rear his ugly head and you will be in for a bad day. Make sure you adhere to the load limits and follow all safety precautions of your specific model. Good luck!
I can see your gonna want some crusher dust or reclaim added over your rock drive so you can travel easy. We built a jib crane that was used for many things. It was about 5ft tall. We would put the Forks close together and drive into it and use it that way.
Next you'll be getting an all terrain Forklift especially for that rocky gravel , like the ones l used to drive. l also used to drive telescopic handler forklifts aswell , many years ago 😊👍
